Chailux sat in the mechanical gardens and listened to the mechanical birds sing classical music. "Sir," Chailux rolled his eyes a he picked the closest radio daisy and listened, "the Demon Project will not activate."

"Sir," Chailux turned his attention to a hibiscus, "the exterminator has gone rouge!" Mechanical plant after plant started to scream out things to him. Annoyed, Chailux sent out an icy blast freezing everything around him.

He walked down the path to where awaiting exo-soldiers were. "Find me Commander Gold," he yelled, grabbing the closest soldier, "I don't care if he is dead or alive. Find him now!"

Edward burst into the Chailux's office to find it covered in ice and Alexis frozen in place off to the side. He rolled up his sleeve revealing a metal frame around his arm and he produced fire to melt the ice in a matter of seconds. Alexis fell out of the ice and Edward caught her before she fall too far.

Footsteps of running exo-soldier could be heard from down the hall and Edward needed to think. He looked out the balcony to see scout ships and Valkyries flying about. A Valkyrie stopped in midair and raised their visor, seeing Edward, "over here," they yell and Edward fires a laser gun at the Valkyrie's wing.

Edward leaped off the balcony onto a nearby roof, making sure Alexis wasn't harmed. He ran across the rooftops as city guards, exo-soldiers, and Valkyries got behind him. An aircraft rose between a gap and Edward stopped.

Chailux along with Elite Science Officers (ESOs) stood within the aircraft. "Turn yourself and that witch in Commander Gold," Chailux announces but Edward shields Alexis's head with his arm, "you have no where to run!"

Edward swept a flame across the aircraft and the Chairman raised his arm to defend against the attack. When he and the ESOs saw pass the fire, they were gone. "What now," an ESO asked as they all look to Chailux.

Meanwhile, Edward casually walked through the streets, shielding his face from the public. Alexis was in the trolley he was pushing under a large sheet. "Attention citizens of science," he looks up to the multiple screens depicting the Chairman, "several hours ago, Commander Edward 'Exterminator' Gold committed an act of treason against the council. With that said, I hereby exile Edward Gold as a member of the Science Military Force, his title as Exterminator, and as a follower of science."

The camera orbs fly away from Chairman Chailux and he just stands there, staring at the city below. "All entry and exit way are in the process of being blocked sir," an ESO reports from behind, "if he intends on leaving, we will know."

Damian flew into the aircraft along with several over Valkyries. "Congratulations Mr. Astro," Chailux said as he turned to the young man, "you've just been promoted from Sergeant to Major. Gather a squadron of your best fighters and meet aboard my flagship," Damian gave a bow and flew off with his Valkyries. Chailux dug into his pocket and pulled out the single bullet he kept for the first battle.

Edward reaches one of the checkpoints out of the city and lowers him head even further. "Heading out," the guardsman asked and Edward gave a nod, "well then, watch yourself out there." Edward left the city and turned back to see ESOs confront then block off the entrance.
