Edward and Alexis followed the soldier back to the room where the council had summoned them to see Damian and Selene waiting for them.

"We intercepted this," Damian informed and the middle screen came down closer to reveal a map of the surrounding area, "a strong aura event just to the west of our current position," a large blip appeared to where he had said.

"I'd go if I were you," Alexis turned slightly to see Chailux before he disappeared again. The others had not noticed this even though Damian and Selene were looking straight at her.

Edward was acting as he did during the attack. Unfazed and in control would be the best way to describe this. "Notify any and all soldiers stationed within a hundred meter radius to be on guard," he quickly said and Selene left to do so, "I'll take a small team to investigate."

Damian stepped forth and saluted, "as a Valkyrie, I offer my service and my squad."

"I will go to," Alexis said. She was curious as to why the vanishing man wanted to her to go.

Edward gave a nod, "leave Sergeant Astro and gather your men," Damian bowed at the commander's orders and left in a hurry, "now Alexis," Edward had changed back to the sensitive man from before, "you were saying?"

Alexis took a moment to think. She was about to tell him the truth but with this sudden situation she started to wonder if she should.

Alexis looked away and Edward got worried, "you don't have to tell me," he said in a reassuring tone. Alexis looked to him as he was now very close, "if you don't want to."

The doors open again and they quickly part. Damian was waiting with several exo-soldiers behind him, "we are ready on your orders commander," Damian said as the soldier behind his crossed an arm over their torso.
