I get ready to go see Mr. Benton at his shop as I shove some bread in my mouth. *speaks with chunk of bread in mouth* "I'll be back by noon mother, I'm gonna go see Mr. Benton and help out at the shop!" I run over to the shop and I see Mr. Benton out front. "Ahh, Shay, you're here! I was hoping you'd be here to see this. Mr. Crocker had built a new sign for the store since the old one was for the most part faded in color." as Mr. Benton said while pointing his wooden cane. "It looks great Mr. B.!" I shout. I head inside and go grab some supplies out back to put out on the shelves and restock.

*20 minutes later*

"Excuse me young man, but where is the ink at?" as the tall woman questioned. "I'm sorry m'am I just ran out. That man who just left got the last bottle. We should be getting some by tomorrow morning, sometime around noon." "Thank you young man." as she left out the door. I hear a loud crash and Mr. Benton shouting at someone. So I run to the back of the store and see a horrible sight.

Mr. Benton was on the ground with a knife wound on his shoulder. "MR. BENTON!!! Are you alright?! What happened back here?!" I shouted. "A man who said his name was "Copper" had asked me for money and I told him no. He had two men with him but...one had a knife and tackled me down while stabbing me in the shoulder. They just went down the north road before you got here." as Mr. Benton described the scene. "I'm gonna find the men who did this to you. I'll be back, but first lets get you to the doctor." I helped Mr. Benton to the doctor's office and left to find this "Copper" character. "WATCH OUT!" said a teenager my age on a horse as he knocks me over. "Sorry man, I was trying to get home, you okay?" "Yeah..." as I reply to him. I look at his eye and see a large scar across his face but his left eye was all blue and glowing. "Who are you?" I ask wonderingly...
