Five
You were curled up on the couch as your father scolded you nonstop. He was ranting on and on about you and Sunghyun, he thought that you two were a couple, considering he barged through the door at the worst moment.
If only he knew all the details, you wouldn't be stuck in the living room listening to his rage. You didn't know how you could bare it for so long. After he came home, the others left quietly without a peep. He never yelled at them. Well, not harshly anyways. He asked what was going on and you tried to explain the situation but he sent the boys home.
"Why would you open the door anyways if you didn't know who it was? It could've been someone dangerous!"
"Oh dad... It's not like I got kidnapped.. Did I? Yeontae, Jiahn, and Sunghyun are my friends. They only came to deliver things for me!"
"Sweetie, I'm only looking out for you.."
"I know dad.."
Your dad kissed you on the cheek before giving you a soft 'Parent' smile and left the room. You sighed as you stretched yourself out on the couch, popping a piece of chocolate in your mouth every few minutes.
Your head felt like an explosion, especially after listening to your dad which seemed to make your condition ten times worse.
You didn't enjoy sitting down on the couch doing nothing but cough, sneeze, and blow your stuffy nose.
Your eyes were beginning to close, you could no longer fight the tiredness. Once again, you opened your eyes and popped up. The door. Someone was at the door.
Your dad flew down the stairs and pointed at you with your finger, making you stay seated. "I'll get it honey, you stay there." You grumbled and fussed, you thought it could be more of your friends coming to see you.
Your dad opened the door and gave a sweet smile to whoever was in the doorway. "Ah, hello! Please please, come in! I see you've got a stack of papers in that binder!" Your dad opened the door fully and you glanced away, pretending to pay zero attention. You heard the door slam and folded your arms.
It must be a business man.
But the voice that spoke sounded darn right familiar. Turning your head around to see, you gasped. The tall man handed you a small binder full of things. "Hello Y/N."
"Jinsub... I mean, Mr. Kim.." You really tried your best to not sound so sarcastic or so 'Disappointed' to see him. He took his spot next to you and opened the binder that rested on your lap.
Your dad smiled and gestured to Jinsub. "Mr.Kim came over to deliver the homework that you've missed. Both from Mark and himself."
"Why didn't Mr.Mark just come over?"
Jinsub answered your question "He was too busy. Is there a problem?"
You whispered a soft "No.."
"Didn't think so."
Your dad went and made a cup of coffee for Mr.Kim and came back out to deliver it to him before heading back upstairs. You didn't want your dad to leave you and Jinsub alone, but it happened too fast. As soon as your dad left, Jinsub closed the binder and you forced yourself to calm down.
You attempted to open the binder but he slammed his hand down on yours. His hands were smooth like a baby, his shining eyes was like the sun warming you up, and the way his mouth curved was the most elegant smile you've ever seen. Everything about him made you go bonkers.
You began to stutter. "S-Shouldn't I get started on the work..?..."
"That'd be a good idea... It'd be too bad to see you fail... "
"Yeah.."
He got up and brushed himself off as he headed to the door. You peeled yourself up while watching him.
"Your leaving already?"
"Already..?.." He raised his eyebrows and you immediately regretted what you said. "I didn't mean it like that."
"Oh, I see."
He walked back over to you, whispering his last few words.
"I'll see you around..." His breath sent goosebumps and a shocking sensation right through your spine. He said farewell to your dad as he opened the door and gave you a final smile and closed the door behind him.
You let out a sigh of relief when you heard the sound of the door click, knowing that he was gone. You couldn't get over the fact that he came all the way here, made you feel quite uncomfortable, and left you with that irksome feeling that you get every time he's near. Why did it happen? You never want to admit that sometimes you feel good about it, and sometimes you want to lock yourself in your room and live in there forever.
You got up out of your seat and made your way to the kitchen, yet you never made it there safely because of one person who you never thought would be home so soon. The sight of the door being flung open and a loud high pitch scream being heard, you sighed in agony.
Isaac.
He scrambled inside, knocking you over by his sudden action. Your back smashed against the floor first, along with the rest of your fragile body.
Both your father and your brother hovered over you. Isaac kneeled down beside you and stroked your pounding head. His fingers ran down to the side of your cheek, a slight pinch was given and you posed yourself upward, taking note of everything that had happened.
•START•
You weren't at home. You were at summer camp. You walked down the path that expressed nature to anyone that stood on the path. Walking down the wondrous road, a group of kids excitedly exploring the wilderness, and the feel of a hand intertwined with yours.
You looked up and beamed when you made eye contact with your long-lasting best friend. Not Inho. Someone else that was a family friend for many generations.
Min Yoongi.
•END•
Everything started to rumble once more, things coming back clear as crystal.
Things becoming smooth like a newly paved road.
Things began to arise.
Things becoming a dream...
This may have been a confusing ending, you'll know what happened in the next chapter.
