Y/N's POV

Sonic decided to take me shopping with him for ingredients, I agree to come since I was the one cooking. Tail's wanted to come to but he had to keep working on how we could get back home, Shadow also wanted to come but he was too cool for it. I only found out by looking at his eyes he seemed like he wanted to but him tagging along with Sonic and a total stranger would totally be out of his character so I knew what he wanted and what he didn't want.

Sonic: "What should we buy for lunch, (y/n)?"

Me: "I don't know," *shakes head* "I was thinking of making some curry, how's that sound?"

Sonic: "I say delicious!"

I couldn't help but giggle at Sonic's childish act, it was like watching a little kid.

???: "Sonic!"

We both heard someone call to Sonic and turn to face this person once we caught sight of a dust storm coming our way we both saw Amy running towards us at full speed. She seemed happier than I ever saw her in any of the shows.

Sonic: "Oh no, it's Amy!" *scans the area for a hiding place* "oh boy, there's no place to hide."

Amy: "Sonicku! Come over here and given me a hug!"

Amy cooed at him. Sonic was completely panicking and I was enjoying it, until he thought of a plan to hide from Amy. He then kneeled down in front of me and said,

Sonic: "Hop on my back."

Me: "W-why?"

Sonic: "Just get on! Ask questions later!"

Me: "Okay, okay geez."

I got on his back like he said. I held on tight since I knew what he was planning on doing it was completely obvious.

Sonic: "Hold on tight."

Me: "Obviously."

I couldn't help but be sarcastic. Sonic then started running and I felt like my soul just left my body because of the speed. The next thing I knew I was still on Sonic's back but our surroundings was a grassy field, we were on top of a hill with a tree in front of us.

Me: *gets off Sonic's back* "wow... that was so awesome, scary and fast but awesome."

Sonic: "I'm glad you like it."

Amy: "Sonic!"

Sonic: *face palms* "you've got to be kidding me."

I turned around and saw Amy in front of us breathless.

Amy: "Sonicku, you know you can't hide from—"

Amy then saw me and her eyes widen and her smile faded. She took a step closer to us and asked,

Amy: "Sonic, who is this?"

Sonic: "This is (y/n), she's my—"

But before Sonic could finish Amy brought out her hammer and exclaimed,

Amy: "Girlfriend?"

Sonic: "Um..."

Me: *wave my hands* "no, no I'm not—"

Amy: "You're trying to steal my Sonicku away from me, aren't you!"

Me: "No I'm not."

Amy: "Liar!" *tries to hit me with with her hammer*

Me: *quickly moves out of the way* "I swear! Sonic and I are just friends!"

Amy: "Oh really, then prove it!"

Me: "Fine. I'll tell you the name of the hedgehog who I have a crush on."

Amy was still angry at me but she moved closer and I began to whisper in her ear.

Sonic's POV

As (y/n) whispers something to Amy, I see her angry face expression change her eyes wide and her mouth opens a little out of surprise.

Y/N's POV

As I finish telling Amy who my crush is she looks at me surprise for some reason, although I couldn't blame her.

Amy: "Eh?! You have a crush on him?!"

Me: *nods*

Amy: "But... you sound so sweet, nice and innocent. And he's such a jerk!"

Me: *say in my mind* "ow."

Amy: "Why would you fall for him?"

Me: "I know it's weird but I like him. But can you please not tell anyone about this," *points at Sonic* "besides, Sonic's just over there."

Amy: *looks at Sonic*

Sonic: *looks at both of us confuse then blinks a few times*

Amy: *looks back at me* "o-okay, I won't tell anyone."

Me: " Phew! Thank."

Her smiled returned to her face again to be honest she was kinda nice looking when she smiles. Amy then walked up to me and reached out a hand.

Amy: "Sorry about my attitude earlier, that wasn't very nice. I'm Amy Rose."

Me: *shakes her hand* "(y/n) (l/n)."

Sonic: "Now that you girls are friends, can we go home now? I'm starving."

Me: *giggles*

But before another second could pass we all heard an explosion coming from the market place. We all turned and saw smoke coming from where we were at a moment ago.

Sonic: "Looks like Eggman's up to no good again."

Me: "Didn't he say he had to fix his lab first before trying to rule the world again?" *puts both hands on my hips*

Amy: *looks at me surprise* "how did you know that he's lab was destroyed?"

Me: "Me and my friends had a run in on him when we came here. He wanted to use us as his hostages so he could destroy Sonic."

Sonic: "Well I'm not letting him touch any of you. Come on Amy."

Amy: *lifts up her hammer* "right."

Me: "I'll help to."

Sonic: "No (y/n)."

Me: "Huh?" *looks at him confused*

Sonic: *looks at me* "you just said Eggman tried to capture you, you should stay at a safe place in case he tries to capture you guys again."

Me: "But Sonic—"

Sonic: "Let's go Amy."

Amy: *nods* "right."

I watch them both run off to fight Eggman, knowing I can't do anything I decided to head back to Sonic's place hopefully the others helped them out with Eggman.

~Time Skip (at Sonic's house)~

When I got to Sonic's house I find my friends in the living room with worried faces but there were no signs of Shadow, Silver, Zeon and Tails. I assumed they left because they saw Eggman's handy work at the market and decided to help Sonic and Amy fight.

Me: "I see you guys are here."

All except (y/n): *looks at me* "(y/n)!"

Emi then jumps on me with joy while giving me a hug that could probably squeeze the life out of me.

Emi: "(Y/n), you're okay!"

Me: "Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?"

Glory: "Zeon told us Eggman was attacking the market."

Kazelma: "Since you and Sonic were there we thought you got caught up on the fight as well."

Starflight: "We were so worried about you."

Me: "Well you don't have to worry now."

But just then a creature with black skin with a yellow belt with a TV on its head suddenly came crashing in the window. We knew who that was, it was one of Eggman's minions, the one that delivers all his messages, I actually forget his name.

Eggman's minion: *struggles to get the TV out of the bag* "I got a message f-for you all," *finally get the TV out* "from Eggman."

The TV turned on and a video from Eggman started playing.

Dr. Eggman: "Hello there my dear friends."

Glory: "Please," *rolls eyes* "since when were we his friends?"

Chrono: *puts finger over his mouth* "shhh!"

Glory: *growls*

Dr. Eggman: "I'm pretty sure that you are aware I am attacking the city now as you watch."

Kazelma: "I thought he was attacking the market."

All except Kazelma: *puts fingers over our mouths* "shhh!"

Kazelma: *whispers* "sorry."

Dr. Eggman: "And while I am attacking I have Sonic and his friends captured."

All: *gasp!*

Eggman then showed us his tentacled machines holding Sonic and the gang, they were trying to escape but couldn't.

Dr. Eggman: "As you can see they have nowhere left to go." *points at us* "so if you don't bring me the chaos emeralds 3:00 pm sharp I'll drop them at the highest point of the city."

The video ended there then the TV began to glow then explode luckily Glory's force field was still protecting us.

Eggman's minion: "Well that's all, I'm out of here." *flies out the broken window*

Once the minion was gone Glory drop her Mirror Coat and we all begun to stare at each other.

Glory: "So what do we do now?"

Emi: "We can't leave them like that!"

Starflight: "No. We can't."

Chrono: "Of cores we can't! Not after what they've done for us!"

Kazelma: "But how do we save them?"

Me: "Easy,"

All except (y/n): *all looks at me confuse* "huh?"

Me: "We give him what he wants! And I have the perfect plan for it."

I begun to whisper the plan to my friends and they listened carefully before approving to it.

Third Person's POV

Dr. Eggman: *looks at his watch* "it's almost time," *looks at Sonic and the gang* "you better hope those extras get here with the chaos emeralds or you'll all die."

Sonic: *tries to break free* "you're never going to get away with this!"

Amy: "That's right, (y/n) and her friends will find a way to free us!"

Dr. Eggman: "Yes. They will free you, once they've given me the emeralds." *laughs evilly*

Shadow: "No you won't!"

Dr. Eggman: "Huh?"

All except Shadow: *looks at him confuse and surprise at the same time*

Shadow: "(Y/n) and the others will save us and they'll do it without giving you the emeralds!"

Sonic: "Shadow..." *looks at Shadow amaze*

But the surprise on Sonic soon fade and was replace with a soft smile, it was also the same for Amy.

Sonic: "That's right, the gang will save us and they'll do it without letting you touch the chaos emeralds."

Amy: "Yeah! (Y/n) will come! And she'll make sure everyone comes back safe and sound!"

Shadow: *looks at Amy surprise and says in his mind* "Amy knows (y/n)?" *looks at Sonic* "what did that faker do in the market?"

Y/N's POV

I made it to the top floor on time just as Eggman wants. Once I came out of the elevator I took a deep breath before letting it out, then walking out. When I came face to face with Eggman I showed him the brown sack I was carrying that got everyone confuse.

Me: "Just as you ask for, now let them go."

Dr. Eggman: "I-I have to see this for myself if its real or not."

Eggman started to search through the bag and pulled out a bunch of diamond shape crystals.

Knuckles: "The Chaos Emeralds!"

Tails: "Why did she bring then really?"

Amy: "(Y/n)! Why?"

I didn't responded, I just... looked away as if I was too ashamed to look at anyone in the eye especially Shadow.

Shadow: *looks at (y/n) with disbelief* "(y/n)... why? What were you thinking?"

I couldn't help but hear him say it. Hearing him was a bit too much, I get this was apart of my plan but I don't know if I can handle it. I'm starting to have second thoughts about all this. I mean, about me being the one to deceive Eggman. I get that I'm an excellent deceiver and that I'm perfect for the role but this is just too much.

Dr. Eggman: "Finally!" *laughs evilly* "after all these years I finally have it! The chaos emeralds in my hands, Sonic and his friends captured! I'll finally be able to build my Eggman Empire AND TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!"

While Eggman had his back turn on me Chrono teleported besides me before teleporting away with me. We hide behind a few of Eggman's destroyed robots where Kazelma was waiting for us.

Kazelma: "Did they bought it?"

Me: "Ooohhh yeah." *looks down to the ground ashamed and sad*

Kazelma: *puts a hand over my shoulder* "hey, it'll be fine they'll understand soon enough. You did the right thing."

Me: *looks at Kazelma still sad and ashamed* "it's not that," *looks away then looks back* "its just... the way how Shadow talked to me... it was so uncomfortable. He totally thought I gave Eggman the emeralds and when Chrono came to take me he totally thought I helped Eggman instead of freeing them."

Chrono: *puts a hand over my other shoulder* "it'll be fine."

Me: *looks at Chrono over my shoulder*

Chrono: "Besides, they'll see soon enough."

Kazelma: "Yeah. And when we're done here I bet Shadow will be impress with your deceiving skills."

Me: *smiles at them both* "thanks you guys."

Sonic's POV

None of us could believe it, (y/n) gave Eggman the chaos emeralds then left with Chrono I mean, they didn't even help us at all they just help Eggman take over. I looked over at Shadow and he seemed heartbroken even Amy seemed that way I mean, her and (y/n) just became best friends and now here she was being stab in the back. What was wrong with that girl? It was like she played us!

Dr. Eggman: "Finally, I can rule this world!"

Sonic: "You're not going to get away with this!"

Dr. Eggman: "Oh? I think you should take a good look at the scenery Sonic, you and your friends are capture, and unable to escape. Just face facts blue rat you lost and I'm about to take over this world."

But just out of nowhere Kazelma came out of nowhere and yelled,

Kazelma: "BOMBS AWAY!!!"

Then (y/n) came out of her hiding place then pulled him back for cover. Everyone was confuse for a moment before the chaos emeralds suddenly started to glow, they... exploded? Then Egghead was sent flying off the building, the explosion only came to him and not the rest of us. Why? That question was immediately answered when we realise there was some kind of glass force field in front of us and where (y/n) and Kazelma were hiding. Glory came down from the sky landing on her feet while Starflight flied down on us and freed us all one by one using his power.

Silver: "You're getting better at that, Starflight."

Starflight: "T-thanks Silver."

Starflight's POV

Getting a compliment from Silver about my powers was such an honor, but I felt someone was looking at me for some reason. I turned around a bit to see Glory glaring daggers at me so I quickly turned back around. Why is she glaring at me? I'm not gay! I like Rouge! Not Silver! Silver's her crush not mine! I started to panic as Glory continues to glare like there's no tomorrow.

Y/N's POV

Seeing Glory so angry was really out of character of her, especially since she's glaring at Starflight. But he's a boy! And he's not gay! Seeing her like that was so frustrating so I decided to approach her and check if she was okay.

Me: "Glory... are you okay?"

I put a hand on her shoulder and suddenly saw the memory of Silver complimenting Starflight's power. Silver has the same power as Starflight so he had every rights to compliment him and Starflight would admire Silver for it because of the same reason. When I let go of Glory's shoulder and the vision vanished that's when everything became clear to me, jealousy. When my mind was brought down to earth land Glory turned to face me with a smile glued on her face, more like masking it.

Glory: "I fine, stop worrying about me."

Me: *says in my mind* "I am so not believing that."

I was so confuse on what just happened. What just happened? What did I saw? Why do I suddenly understand what Glory feels? And did I nearly hear her thoughts earlier? What's going on with me? What's happening to me?
