Y/N's POV

Sonic: "Yummmy! (Y/n), you make the best food ever!"

Kazelma: "I know right."

Chrono: "When it comes food (y/n)'s your best cook in the house."

Starflight: "I agree."

Me: "Come on guys, I'm not all that good. I mean, some of you know how to cook too."

Emi: "What do you mean? I'm too young to cook."

Glory: *scratches the back of her neck* "and I hardly know how to cook."

Kazelma: *looks at Glory and Emi confuse* "but don't you two take lessons from (y/n)?"

Glory: "We do. But..."

Emi: "We're doing great! (Y/n) said that we're getting the hang of it," *looks at me* "right?"

Me: "Um yea. You're getting there." *sweat drop*

Emi: "You sound like I'm hardly getting anywhere."

Me: "No, no! It's nothing like that it's just that... well..."

Emi: *sigh* "I cook terrible, don't I?"

Me: *puts hand at the back of her neck* "sorry Emi. It's just... I don't really want to repeat your curry."

Chrono: "You put pizza sauce in the curry."

Starflight: "And I certainly don't want to picture Glory's banana cake in my head again. It was the most terrible thing I've ever seen."

Glory: "Hehe." *sweat drop*

Kazelma: "Wow! You guys are terrible cooks."

Glory: *looks at Kazelma irritated* "hey we just started a weak ago so you can't blame us if we still have bad cooking."

Me: *puts both hands up for defence* "easy Glory, no need to bite his head off."

As I said that Glory gives me a pouted look and with instinct I hide myself behind Shadow causing the other male hedgehogs to chuckle, not including Chrono, Starflight and Kazelma. But our moment at the dinning table was suddenly interrupted by a knock on the door.

???: "Sonic! It's me! Open the door!"

Sonic: *gets up from seat* "well looks like Tails's here."

After saying that Sonic left the room and opened the door for Tails to come in.

~Time Skip (at the living room)~

Sonic: "Guys this is our friend Tails."

Tails: "Nice to meet you all," *scratches the top of his head while sweat drop* "actually my name's Miles Prower but you can all call me Tails for short."

Glory: "Nice to meet you Tails, I'm Glory," *points at Chrono* "and this is Chrono," *points at Starflight* "Starflight," *points at me* "(y/n)," *points at Kazelma* "Kazelma," *points at Emi* "and Emi."

Tails: "Nice to meet you all."

Me, Chrono, Starflight, Kazelma and Emi: *say in our minds* "we can introduce ourselves you know."

Chrono: "It's a pleasure to meet you."

~Time Skip (after Tails's test)~

Tails: "Alright. After everything I can only say this; I don't exactly know what to say."

Chrono: "What do you mean you don't know what to say?!"

Tails: "I mean that I don't have any results on anything. How you got here and where you came from it's all blank."

Glory: *puts hand over Chrono's shoulder* "calm down Chrono," *looks at Tails* "is there a way for us to go back home?"

Tails: "I don't really know since I didn't get any results on how you even got here."

Glory: "I see."

Tails: "But the part about your friends powers are actually quite explainable."

Emi: "Really?!"

Tails: "Yeah. You all said that your powers came around when Eggman attacked you guys and you all wanted to protect the others from him, right?"

Kazelma: "Yea that's right."

Tails: "When your powers came you were all in desperate situations, right?"

Starflight: "Right."

Tails: "So that means (y/n) and Emi do have powers. They just haven't gotten to the point where their powers need to be activated."

Me: "I get it. So we just gotta be patient and wait for them to happen when we need them to activate."

Tails: "Exactly."

Shadow: "And when that happens I'm sure you'll find it even better than the others."

Me: "Wow. You really think so Shadow?"

Shadow: "I know so."

I could feel my cheeks heat up at his words and hide a pease of hair behind my ear. Glory and Emi both giggle at my state while Chrono, Starflight and Kazelma try their best not to laugh since they know about my crush on Shadow.
