It's been some time since the Neather update hit the server, Scar had just finished the big dig and already set up a bit of a base in it. (Yes time skip) Neither him or Cub had any luck in finding something to help with the ears though, so he had to still be using his hat, whenever a hermit other than Cub could be around. Scar was heading down to his Neather base now since Grian had left him a respawn anchor there. Once there he activated it and left right out to explore a bit. Not even a minute later a hoglin had already killed him. (Had to alter this since elytra aren't real) When he respawned the block from under him was pulled out and he fell into a pit of hoglin.

"Great just great..." , Scar thought to himself. This continued for a good while until his hat had come off from all the constant falling. When BDubs and Grian saw this they just stopped and stood there in shock from what they saw. It wasn't unnatural to see a hybrid, heck Grian was one but no one knew about Scar. When Scar had realized what happened he rushed to get his hat back on but BDubs grabbed it before him. Scar ran after BDubs but then BDubs threw the hat to Grian who then flew higher than Scar's reach. (I'm not trying to bully Scar I promise! T-T)

"I'm not giving this back until you explain why you have cat ears.", Grian said in a not so playful tone.

"Can you just give me my hat back?", Scar replied.

"Will you explain if I do?", the angel asked.

"Fine if it gets my hat back.", Scar said.

Grian then returned Scar his hat and said, "Ok now, what's up with the ears?"

"Well I don't actually know why they are there. I just want to get rid of them to be honest.", Scar said putting back on his hat.

"Well maybe the strange message from a few weeks back has something to do with it.", BDubs suggested.

"In that case we should go tell X", Grian replied.

"NO!", Scar exclaimed.

"Why not?", the winged hermit said curiously.

"It's just, I didn't want anyone to know. It's kinda embarrassing.", Scar replied with a sigh.

"If it makes you feel better we'll keep you secret.", Grian told Scar.

"Yeah.", BDubs said.

"Thanks, I guess.", Scar said as he left to go get his stuff.

Short chapter today, I know but after Grian pulled this prank I have been wanting to make a chapter of how it would roll out in this AU.
