Gay Night and New Hires

Lilly was going through her e-mails, and noticed quite a few of them were for answers for an ad that she did not put out. Her phone was bombarded with similar messages. Before Lilly could answer them, her phone rang.

"Hello, Lilly Willow speaking."

"Hi, my name is Brianna Andino and I'm calling about your advert." By now, Lilly was thoroughly confused.

"I'm sorry, which advert is this?"

"The one for the personal stylist. The ad said you were looking for a stylist for a professional male entertainer? Must be good with words, skilled with their hands..." Suddenly, it clicked and Lilly covered over the receiver.

"Freaking Tony!" she swore. "Look I'm really sorry, Brianna was it? But..."

"Wait! I really need this job. Please give me a chance?" Lilly sighed and ran her fingers through her long dark hair. It was only fair; Pietro got his own stylist and it certainly wasn't this poor girl's fault that Tony was a diva.

"Okay. I'll meet you later on with your résumé and if I like what I see, you'll start work tomorrow."

"Great! Thank you so much, Miss Willow."

"Call me Lilly." They made a time to meet up and Lilly gave her the address of JARVIS. She spent the rest of the morning responding to messages. Man, when Lilly got her hands on Tony, she was gonna throttle him.

...

Later that night, Lilly was showing Meg around backstage of 'Excelsior!'.

"If you need anything, I'll be right across the road. JARVIS is still my club, no matter who is in it."

"Can't I just ask Stan?" Meg asked.

"Sorry to say, no. Stan often migrates over to JARVIS on nights like this. He'd much rather gawk at women watching other women take their clothes off than stay in his own club," Lilly shrugged.

"I've been meaning to ask, how do you choose who goes here on Gay Night?"

"It's usually the guys that need to make the extra bit of money and are comfortable doing this. Clint teaches archery but he doesn't have that many students; at least between 'The Hunger Games' movies. Bucky's a personal trainer between clients, Steve is too shy and Pietro..." Lilly thought for a moment.

"Come to think of it, I'm not actually sure what he does when he's not at the club. Anyway, he should be here soon so I'll leave you to it."

"By the way, why not have these Gay Nights at your own clubs?" Meg asked. Lilly's brow creased in thought.

"I... honestly don't know. It was an arrangement made by Miss Friday and Stan long before I took over. I guess it'd be too confusing to change it now though."

...

JARVIS was filled with women as it usually was; only this time it was a little different. Lilly didn't MC on Gay Night; she felt she couldn't compete with 'Sass Master' Darcy. She opened the show before introducing 'The Scarlet Wench'. Wanda walked onto the stage in her pirate outfit as Nightwish's 'She is My Sin' came through the speakers. Wanda rocked her hips and swayed her body in time with the music. Surprised, Lilly sidled up to Darcy.

"Wanda's got a new routine?" she asked.

"Yeah. Been cleaning up ever since she thought of it a few weeks ago."

Dressed as one

A wolf will betray a lamb

Wanda gently ran her fingers under the chin of the nearest woman.

Lead astray the gazers

The razors on your seducing skin

She moved the shoulder of her dress down, showing off her creamy skin.

In the meadow of sinful thoughts

Every flower's a perfect one

Wanda gestured to the audience with a flat hand. Darcy leant in towards Lilly.

"She slightly adjusted that move," she told her.

"Really?"

"Mm-hm. She usually points to herself."

I am the Fallen

You are what my sins enclose

Wanda lay on her back, looking out at the crowd with her big blue eyes.

Lust is not as creative

As its discovery

She moved to her knees, pulling at the sash around her waist and allowing her dress to flow open. Wanda ran her fingers down the front of her torso.

To paradise with pleasure haunted,

Haunted by fear

Wanda took off her bandana and allowed her long hair to tumble down her shoulders. She continued to move in time with the guitar.

Bless me, undress me

With this line, Wanda faced the back of the stage and shrugged the dress from her shoulders. She quickly picked up the sash from her dress and covered herself, slowing her movements as the song slowed. When it picked up again, Wanda twirled the fabric strategically around her body, just enough to give teasing glimpses. At the end of the song, she tossed the material into the audience, leaving her in just her knee-high boots and g-string. She headed off as Darcy got back on to introduce Black Widow. Much like Clint; Natasha had a sexy assassin routine. Her movements were slow and sensuous; she knew exactly how to get results. One could certainly imagine Natasha seducing some poor victim before going in for the kill. After Black Widow's performance, it was Lady Thirteen's turn. A few minutes into Sharon's act, Lilly felt a tap on her shoulder.

"Meg, what are you doing here?"

"Clint's hurt himself," she informed her. Lilly hastily followed her to Excelsior! and after showing the bouncer their ID's, they were allowed in. The first thing Lilly saw was Clint sitting with his arm in a temporary sling; sucking on the green whistle for pain relief. Luckily, someone had helped him change into his street clothes.

"Are you alright? What happened?"

"I miscalculated one of my moves. Managed to finish my show though. Think I broke my arm," he explained bluntly. Lilly sighed and scrubbed her hands down her face.

"I'm sorry Clint but it looks like you're going to be out of work for a while if it is broken. Your insurance should cover it though. In the meantime Bruce'll patch you up."

"Bruce is out of town," Pietro reminded her. Lilly growled in frustration.

"Shit, I forgot! Um..." All sorts of solutions ran through her head until an idea stuck. "I may know of someone that can help. I just hope she doesn't feel like I'm taking advantage of her."

"Who's that?" Clint slurred.

"My roommate Laia. I'll ask her as soon as I get home. Now, let's get you to hospital; you're starting to look a little loopy." Lilly helped him to his feet as he giggled; the effects of the green whistle taking over.

...

As it turned out, Clint actually had broken hid arm. When Lilly asked Laia, she was more than happy to help. Unfortunately, Clint's injury meant that Lilly had to find a last minute replacement for tonight's show. She called every agency she thought of but none of them could spare their dancers. As a last resort, Lilly called Asgard.

"Hi Loki, it's Lilly. I was wondering if Thor was available for tonight." Someone knocked on the door. Knowing Lilly was on the phone, Laia answered it.

"Hello, is Lilly home? I want discuss with her," Steve said. Laia let him in and her roommate waved and held up a finger.

"Okay then. Is there anyone that may be able to work?" Lilly waited for his answer. "Thanks for your help." She hung up the phone sadly.

"Dammit, that was my trump card," she sighed.

"What's wrong?" Steve asked.

"I've been trying to find someone to cover Clint's shift but no luck."

"I might know of someone."

"Really?" Hope leapt to her chest.

"Yes. A guy I sometimes go jogging with; name's Sam Wilson. He's been having some difficulty getting hired."

"Do you have his number?" Steve nodded and took out his phone. Lilly wrote it down with haste.

"Thank you so much Steve. I'll call him as soon as I can. Now, you said you wanted to talk about something?"

"Yes, I want to know why women keep showing up to my door answering for an ad you put out." Lilly's mouth formed into a thin line and she shook her head.

"I'm gonna friggin' kill him," she muttered under her breath. "Apparently Steve, Tony made an advert for a personal stylist. You can imagine my own confusion when I got all these messages. I'm sorry about this Steve; I'll deal with him later." Steve gave her a grateful smile. Laia just sat back smirking at all this. When Steve had left, Lilly rang the number and organized a time with Sam for an audition.

...

That afternoon, Sam showed up to JARVIS.

"Hi, Sam Wilson I presume?"

"Sure am. You're Lilly Willow?"

"Correct," she stated, shaking his hand. "Thanks for coming on such short notice. Let me show you around and we can this audition started." Lilly gave him a tour of JARVIS and waited for him to change into his outfit. When he was ready, Sam stepped out in his costume. It was red and white and appeared to have wings on it. His performance was more... aerodynamic than the others. He shifted higher up the pole, holding himself with an air of grace and strength. Occasionally, Sam's feet touched the ground and an article of clothing was removed. Eventually he was left in just his white thong. Once he had finished he gave Lilly a small bow.

"Bravo!" she clapped. "That was amazing!"

"You really liked it? Most people think it's too arsty-fartsy."

"No, no, that was very tasteful. You're hired."

"Thank you so much," he said shaking Lilly's hand.

"You're welcome. Be here at ten-thirty tonight and I'll give you the order to go on."

"You want me tonight?"

"Yes..." she said sheepishly. "Is that going to be a problem?"

"Not at all. I just didn't realize you'd want me so soon."

"Yeah, about that... One of the regular dancers hurt himself last night and you're the only person I called that could come. I really do like your performance though, I'm sure you'll do exceptionally well." Sam gave her a lop-sided grin.

"So ten-thirty right?" he asked.

"Yes, ten-thirty." Lilly gave him a grateful smile. "By the way, could I get your stage name so I can give you a proper introduction?"

"Big Bird."

"Big Bird? Dude, that's awesome," she laughed.

...

Lilly went about setting up JARVIS when she heard Nick giving someone a hard time. She rushed over to see him trying to escort Brianna away.

"It's cool Nick. I hired her yesterday," Lilly explained. He nodded and let Brianna go. Lilly introduced her to the staff that had already arrived and showed her backstage.

"This will be your station. I feel like I should warn you; the guy you'll be working for is a notorious flirt." No sooner had she spoke the words, Lilly heard Tony's voice. She marched up to him.

"You sneaky little weasel!"

"What did I do?" he innocently asked.

"You know damn well what you did. As soon as the show's over, take down that stupid ad. Steve's sick of random women showing up to his door and I'm sick of giving them the whole 'the position has been filled' speech."

"Wait, you actually hired somebody?"

"Yes I did. Not that you deserve it, you bloody big sook. This is Brianna Andino, and she'll be your stylist. Bri, this is Tony Stark." Tony looked her up and down.

"You did well in hiring her," he smirked, causing Brianna to blush.

"Yeah, bite me. You're lucky I didn't have the heart to turn her away. Just take the ad down and by the way why would you do that to Steve?" Grinning, he shrugged and sat down so Brianna could start working on him. Later, Sam turned up and was introduced to everyone. Eventually, show time rolled around. Some of the women were disappointed when Lilly announced that Magic Arrow would not be performing but Big Bird proved to be a very welcome distraction. That night, Sam proved himself to be worthy of a JARVIS entertainer.
