Lila got up from her bed and stretched, then lay back down. She hit the snooze button on her alarm clock, and quickly fell back asleep. "Lila, school bus!" Her brother called. Lila quickly waved her hands and created a granola bar, then rushed out of her house and onto the school bus. Just because Lila was a fairy didn't mean she got out of school. In fact, she kinda had double school, because she had fairy studies too.

"Lila!" Kylie shrieked. Kylie was Lila's best friend, and she was quite loud. "Hey Kylie." Lila replied, and sat down next to her. "It's too bad you are always busy on the weekends. Your brother must be some kind of clean freak if you have to spend that much time cleaning." She remarked, and then looked out the window. Lila flinched slightly. She couldn't tell anyone about her magic, and that, unfortunately, meant she made up excuses for not being able to hang out on the weekends. "Lila!" Kylie said loudly. "What?" Lila asked, looking at her friend. "I asked you if you studied for the science test today." Kylie said. "I did, as usual, and I'm guessing you didn't?" Lila answered. Kylie giggled. "You know me so well!" Lila smiled and took a bite of her granola bar. "Slept too long?" Kylie guessed. Lila nodded. "If Liam didn't wake me up, I probably wouldn't ever come to school." She said. Kylie laughed. "You need some kind of special alarm clock. Like maybe one that squirts water all over you." She remarked. Lila looked at her best friend. "That probably wouldn't even wake me up. I need one that shakes me." She said. Kylie giggled.
Soon, the school bus had pulled up to the school, and the students slowly started to get off, and head to their home rooms.

Lila walked into class, and looked around the filling classroom. "Hello Ms Macy." She greeted her teacher. She walked quickly to the back of the room and sat down at her desk, and then opened her book. Unknown to Lila, Ms Macy was watching her very closely. Maybe a bit too closely.
