As I pushed open the front doors my heart lifted when I saw my best friend of all time standing there waving back at me. "FIONA!!!!!! what the heck I didn't think you went to school here!" "Yup, welcome to MHS." So you might be wondering what how in the heck are we friends considering we live on like opposite sides of the state, well we're pen pals which is a little weird since same state and all but I've never really questioned it. Fiona and I spent the whole day touring the school and she had us be put as dorm mates. We were talking about a lot of different things when there was a knock on our door. " who is it!" we yelled in unison. "its Cevin Fiona". " Oh ok then come on in ". I gave her a confused look and she answered with a nod. " Hey Fiona so I was just wo-, oh uh who's your friend" " I'm Aqua, nice to meet you" " um uh you too, so Fiona the homework from last night I got confused on this water wizard question" he said pointing to a sentence on a piece of paper. I leaned in to look at the question and it was like the thing was made for me it asked " if you had water magic available during battle against a wind wizard would you use it? why? or why not? justify your answer." "oh that's easy you would use it because water wizards have the ability to manipulate the wind to their will without the wind wizard realizing." Cevin took one look at me and said "ohhh now your name makes sense, so your new right?" "yeah im hoping to learn more about my powers so I can use them better in battle" "well whats there not to know your a water wizard right?" "well yes but im a mermaid water wizard when I use my powers I turn into a mermaid half the time, and well my mom said she'd teach me more about my powers but she passed away along with my father a few months ago and I cant seem to figure out why I turn into a mermaid only half the time like I couldn't do it right now this instant even if I wanted to". Well go ahead try it. ok I thought long and hard about not turning into a mermaid in front of my friends, especially Cevin because my shell top was a little to revealing. Right as I finished my thought I felt the same feeling I felt all those times before, the feeling of water pooling at my feet, the sensation that I was in the ocean swimming along with the dolphins peacefully, and when I opened my eyes there it was the beautiful long turquoise and deep royal blue taili had longed to see but then again not see.
