"Are you sure she won't take anything?" Karkat asks.

"Yes, I can assure you that she cannot take anything." You roll your eyes.

You were sure that was the 10th time that you had been asked that, and seriously, after answering the question once they would stop. Guess you were wrong. You were tired, and wanted to rest, but you knew you still had a fair amount of daylight to spend before you could begin setting up camp.

"So Vriska." You say, getting her attention.

"Yes?" she croons.

"Do you know any quick ways through this kingdom?"

"Ooh, you finally figured out to ask me," she laughs, "of course I do."

You raise a brow at her, crossing your arms.

"Alright, this way." She sighs.

You notice that the other three give her a questioning look, but you just shrug and follow after her.

"(Y/n), are you su-"

"Yes, I am sure we can trust her," you groan, "I trust in my magic to work."

"Aww, don't you trust me?"

"Vriska, only hours ago did you try to steal our stuff," you sigh, "and you are a trickster."

"Fair point."

You were almost beginning to doubt that Vriska actually had a quick way out of this kingdom. Well, she couldn't exactly betray you, but this was taking forever.

"Ah, here we are."

You look up at Vriska, who was grinning. She snaps her fingers and a bright light nearly blinds you.

When your eyes open once again you noticed you weren't in the spot you just were. The trees were the same type, but they all looked different. Standing around you were the other members of your group. A meow makes you look down, where Rose was sitting at your feet.

"Vriska, where'd you just drop us off?" you ask.

"Well, if you'll look just past those trees you'll see the Life Kingdom."

You look over and indeed there is a large group of new trees, a lake stretched along the border of the Life Kingdom.

"Well shit!" You hear Karkat exclaims.

"How the hell did you do that?" Sollux asks.

"That's for me to know." Vriska grins.

"Alright, let's just go." Eridan sighs, and begins to walk towards the Life Kingdom.

You roll your eyes and begin to walk, using your staff as a walking stick. You could hear the others walking behind you, but ignore them as you catch up with Eridan.

"Well, just two kingdoms before we reach the Rage Kingdom." You sigh.

"Yeah, I don't think that's as good as it sounds."

"What do you mean?" you ask, glancing over at him.

"Well, the sooner we get over there, the sooner we'll have to verse the GHB." He admits.

"I just want revenge," you growl, "for my village and all of my years he stole."

You feel your nails dig into your palm as you ball your fists. You feel another hand atop your and you look down to see Eridan's hand around yours. You blink and look up at Eridan.

"You're going to start bleeding if you keep doing that," Eridan mumbles, "we'll get him, I promise."

You smile at Eridan and unclench your hands. You take Eridan's hand in yours, intertwining fingers.

"Thank you, for everything you've done for me."

Eridan's cheeks flush and he continues to look straight ahead. You were pretty sure you heard Vriska wolf whistle from behind you, but you ignore it as you keep your hands together.

You were so happy that Eridan had come with you, you wouldn't have made it nearly as far.
