**Wendy's POV**

"Mum, can we talk?" I asked my Mum. "Of course honey!" She said like always. "Well first Romeo is my boyfriend and..." Before Mum let finish she was squealing and squeezing me. Dad came in and asked Erza to tell him what was going on. Mum just refused. "Also he's taking me to the Winter Ball at school, and I need a really beautiful dress to impress. I know he loves me the way I am but, I wanna look beautiful just for the day." I said to Mum. "You mean more beautiful than you already are" Mum said tucking my hair behind my ear.

"You can make your dress sweetie, with Requip Magic" Mum said and as she finished I got so excited. "I am going to know three types of magic!" I squealed.

**Romeo's POV**

As I opened the door I saw Dad. "I GOT A GIRLFRIEND, I GOT A GIRLFRIEND!!" I cheered, marching over to Dad. Dad looked at me with surprise and happiness. "Good Job son!" He said.

I walked to my room and took out my phone.
To Wendy:

What colour is your dress gonna be? I need to know for my suit.

**Wendy's POV**

"ding" I heard my phone. I opened it and saw an email from Romeo. I read it and when I saw the x's and o's and 'Love Romeo' I flushed bright red.

I replied with:

Dear Romeo,

My dress is going to be different shades of blue. Good Luck, my mum is just teaching me Requip Magic just in case trouble pops up! Love you xoxo

Love Wendy!

I sent the message and began on my dress while my Mum made me armour the same as hers, just... Smaller. I finally finished my dress a couple hours later. It was a beautiful ocean/sky colour. It hugged tightly around my waist and was strapless. With it, I wore white heels.

It was time for dinner when I finished. I ate and then my Mum gave me more lessons in Requip. I finally mastered it and could change into anything I wanted.

"The Dance is tomorrow night and I might just stay at school till it starts..." I told Mum and she gladly agreed as long as I'm happy, but Dad thought different.

"Who is your date?" He asked curiously. "U-uhh, my date is my boyfriend of course Dad!" I said nervously. "And your boyfriend is?..." 
"His name is Romeo, Romeo Conbolt" I said and Dad's eyes opened.  He threw a look at Mum and she nodded. Dad settled down and kept eating.

After dinner, I kept practicing my Sky Dragon Slayer Magic and Requip Magic. It really drained my Magic Power so I went to bed.

**School**

**Romeo's POV**

My first class is Music and I am just waiting in the class for the bell to ring. It didn't take long for the bell to ring but when it did, Wendy wasn't there.

Music passed boringly and I had Magic Specialists. I knew Wendy would be in there because the type of magic she is learning now sounds really difficult . When we all went to class she still didn't show up. Where is she?

**Wendy's POV**

All my magic power was just restored and I looked at my clock. It was 12:00 and I was three hours late! I put all my clothes on and bolted to school.

I got a late pass from the office and went to the cafeteria for lunch. I was looking for my lunch in my bag but I forgot to pack. I also didn't have money for the cafeteria. So I just sat there all alone.

I turned on my seat to go outside when I saw Romeo, looking for someone. He came to me and said obliviously "Do you know a girl named Wendy Marvell?" He asked.

"Hehe, yeah..." I giggled, keeping my head down. "Do you know where she is!?" Romeo asked still looking around. "Yeah she's my best friend and she's right here.

**Romeo's POV**

I looked down and saw Wendy. Her hair was tied in a messy ponytail and her uniform didn't look as neat as usual. "Where were you!?" I asked her sounding worried.

"I am learning Dragon Slayer and Requip Magic now. So I was practicing last night and I used up my magic power. It was only just fully restored." She said with an exhausted look. "Want me to take you to Porlyusica?" I asked her just in case.

She just shook her head. "Oow" Wendy groaned clenching her stomach. "What's wrong!?" I asked her more worried than before. "I just haven't eaten and I forgot to pack lunch and lunch money" she said with a tight grip on her stomach.

**Wendy's POV**

Stupid stomach! I thought to myself. "We could sh-share my s-s-sandwich?" Romeo stuttered while flushing bright red. It's kinda cute! I thought. "Get your mind out of the gutter Marvell!" I said accidentally aloud. "What did you just say?" Romeo asked as if what I said had some meaning.

"You're the Wendy from the park!" He said. "And you're the Romeo that bought me a band aid!" I said back.
We hugged for ages then the bell rang for school to end. Romeo offered to take me home again but I told him I'm just staying here.

Romeo went home and I waited by the gym door. After like half an hour of waiting I saw Lisanna and Meldy running into view. They both came and sat next to me.

**Meldy's POV**

"You're really beautiful Wendy! And so are you Lisanna!" I said to break the ice. Lisanna was in a tight dark blue dress that literally was attached to her skin. Bunny ears were also popping out the top of her head.

My dress is a strapless dress. It has a pink heart that leads down to a white flowing skirt.

**Lisanna's POV**

"The dance starts at 5 and it's 4:55!" I said excitedly, waiting for my date, Eve Tearm. Soon enough another girl joined us with hot pink hair.

"Hi I'm Chelia! Wanna be friends!?" She asked the three of us. Meldy and I turned to Wendy and she was already shaking her hand.

**Wendy's POV**

As Chelia and I let go of each others hands, all the girls and their dates came rushing in. When everyone was already in there Romeo showed up with his hand out. I gladly took it but an amazing two steps later I fell over, tearing my dress a bit. "Typical Wendy! Get it together Marvell!" I said. I had just realised that Romeo had caught me and we were eye to eye. I felt so hot and flustered.

I looked into his dark eyes, he smiled and looked away.

**Romeo's POV**

Her chocolate brown eyes were just the cutest. I helped her up and into the dance. She didn't want me to notice but her legs were shaking like a leaf in the wind.

We went out to dance but at the wrong time. Mrs Mira had just put on slow music. Wendy dragged me onto the dance floor anyway. She held my shoulder and our fingers interlocked.

I put my hand on her waist and suddenly we started dancing. She was really light on her feet. "One second Romeo" Wendy said walking off the dance floor.

**Wendy's POV**

Romeo followed me. "Might as well cast it on you as well then" I said and Romeo looked confused. "Fast wind that run the heaven... VERNIER!" I chanted. Romeo and I instantly became lighter and faster.

As we were about to dance again Tabitha interrupted me on the dance floor. Everyone cleared the floor and were cheering "Fight, Fight, Fight!!". Tabitha pulled a key from her pocket and said "I call upon gate of the Giant Crab! Cancer!".

Cancer came at me as fast as lightning. Luckily I used Vernier earlier. "I'll just get this over with! SKY DRAGON ROAR!!" I yelled as Tabitha was taken to the ground like a piece of cake.

I neatened my dress and Romeo and I started dancing again.

**Four Hours Later**

My feet were killing me by the time the dance had ended. Romeo carried me home bridal style and I was red the whole way there. He carried me to my door, kissed my forehead and put me down.

Before he left I pulled him back and gave him a huge kiss. No objections were made and he just kissed back. After the kiss I almost fell to the ground but Romeo carried me to my bed and laid me in there.

**Romeo's POV**

I watched as she peacefully fell asleep. Eventually I fell asleep next to her.

I woke up in the morning to her frail arm, hugging around my waist. I hugged her back and just closed my eyes.

After another ten minutes, I woke up and wrote a note to Wendy,

Dear Wendy,

I have gone home. Call me when you wake up. Also we slept in the same bed last night. See you over the holidays! Love you xoxo

Love Romeo.

After I wrote the letter, I left it in her hand and ran home.

**Wendy's POV**

I heard my door close and felt a piece of paper in my hand. I read it and fantasised about Romeo and I. Snapping out of it, I grabbed my phone, went to the front yard and called Romeo.
