**Romeo's POV**

I was walking with Wendy around the school we were talking about the assembly after Lunch. "Come on! Please tell me what it's about!?" Wendy nagged playfully. I laughed and refused in a funny way.

While we were both laughing our worst nightmare walked past. It was Tabitha. She was with her little sidekicks. They were pushing around this girl with short white hair. "Haha you're such a nerd Lisanna!"

She fell to the ground holding her books.

**Wendy's POV**

"Hey! Stop that!" I said, intervening in the bullying . "Move little girl! This is Lisanna's problem not yours!" Tabitha snarled. Romeo tried to hold me back but I pulled away. "I said stop!" I said angrily. "What are you gonna do about it!?" Tabitha teased. "Fine then, SKY DRAGON, SECRET ART! SHATTERING LIGHT, SKY DRILL!!!!" I yelled as I literally blew Tabitha and her little minions away.

"Lisanna, right?" I offered her my hand to help her up. She took it gladly.

**Romeo's POV**

Shit, she's strong! I thought to myself. Yet she looks so.. fragile. "W-Wendy?" I asked. "Yes?" She responded as if what she did was nothing. "Where did you learn that magic?"

"Well, it's complicated but, my mum is the Sky Dragon Grandeeney. I learnt Sky Dragon Slayer Magic from her. She's dead now though..." She explained as tears welled up in her eyes towards the end.

"I-I'm sorry, is that a sensitive subject?" I asked. Just as she was about to answer the bell went for assembly.

**Wendy's POV**

Romeo signalled me to follow him to the gym and I signalled Lisanna to follow us. We barely managed to squish into any seats near each other as the gym was already packed full of children.

"Attention please students!" Mrs Mira spoke into the microphone to get us to stop talking. "It is almost the end of term 3 and the Winter Holidays are coming up! As a celebration we are holding a Winter Ball! I as the principal, encourage you all to bring a date to the dance. That is all, now please go to your next classes"

With that Romeo and I went to the same class. This time we had our Magic Specialists class. Of course, me being the only Sky Dragon Slayer, I was alone during this class. I was taught by our school nurse, Porlyusica.

**Romeo's POV**

I learn fire magic and it's taught by Mrs Heartfilia's husband, Mr Dragneel. He is the Fire Dragon Slayer. Whenever Mr Dragneel was focusing on other students, I tried to watch Wendy but Porlyusica would send me weird looks.

I am going to work up the courage and ask her to the dance! I thought to myself but when? I can walk her home from school! I'll ask her after class!

**Wendy's POV**

I hope Romeo asks me to the dance! I thought in my head. Anyway! "Focus Marvell" I said in determination. But then I caught a glimpse of Romeo watching me train.

"Porlyusica?" I asked. "Yes?" She said in her stern yet comforting voice. "I want to learn... Sky God Slayer Magic!" I triumphantly said while stomping my foot.

"It will be difficult child, and you will have to take extra classes, but I can teach you child, for I am the Sky God!" Porlyusica said seriously. "Of course m'am!" I said saluting her.

The bell rang and I began to leave the room, when I felt a grip tighten on my left wrist. It was Romeo and he was blushing very very red.

**Romeo's POV**

"I-I-I'm sorry, did I hurt you!?" I asked Wendy feeling guilty for what I did. "I'm f-fine" she said, rubbing her red wrist. "I am SO sorry! Can I walk you home?" I finally asked. Wendy said she was ok and that I could walk her home! I was jumping out of my skin.

**Wendy's POV**

We started our walk home. "Hey Wendy?" Romeo asked me. "Yeah Romeo? You sound like you are pondering on something!" I said as happily as possible. "Wanna go to the dance with me?" He asked and I almost fainted.

"OF COURSE" I replied in utmost joy. "Wanna date?" I asked him awkwardly. "Like you mean, GIRLFRIEND BOYFRIEND DATE!?" He asked surprised. "If not that's ok.." I said tucking a piece of stray hair behind my ear. "Are you kidding me? Of course Wendy!" Romeo said, lifting me off the ground and spinning us in circles.

We continued walking and held each other's hands. When we arrived at my door, my 'mum' Erza Scarlet came bursting through the front doors, running into me hugging me so tight, I almost exploded.

"M-mum!" I said gasping for breath and pulling away. "Sorry darling, it's just you're usually home right on time and you worried me and Jellal!" She said, her voice shaking.

"J-Jellal? As in Jellal Fernandez!?" Romeo asked. Mum looked at him and she said "O-oh hello there! You must be Romeo! Wendy talks the world about you!". "Muum! Don't tell my boyfrie- Romeo that!" I said trying to hide that Romeo and I are dating now.

"Did I hear boyfriend!?" My dad boomed from inside. "N-no! Mr Fernandez! I am just a friend of Wendy's" Romeo said, sounding kind of scared of my Dad.

"Jellal, don't embarrass her! Go back inside you little rascal" Mum said to Dad. "Also Mum, I am gonna learn God Slayer Magic, so on the days I have Magic Specialists I'll be home later" I told Mum and she nearly exploded.

"You better go hime before Macao worries about you Romeo!" My Mum said. "How do you know my Dad?" Romeo asked. "We used to be a part of Fairy Tail! We're retired now though and Fairy Tail is disbanded." Mum said.

"Bye Romeo!" I said, blowing him a secret kiss. He quickly ran home looking like he was skipping with utmost joy.
