((Lukas' P.O.V))

Monday.

It's just Emil and I today.
This time, we're switching roles to see if we're really best suited for our jobs.

I was the cashier this time while Emil was the server.

He's good at talking to customers, even though he's a bit awkward at times.

Mathias came in as usual, and I couldn't help but eavesdrop on them a bit.

"H-hello. How can I take your order?" Emil asked, slipping up on the words a bit.

He seemed really nervous. Maybe he isn't the best waiter...

There seemed to be more customers at this time today. Almost all of the tables were full and there was already a lineup.
The first customer stepped up, a pretty girl with a bob haircut.

"Hello, welcome to Magic Bliss Café. What would you like?" I asked, reciting the words perfectly.

"I'd like a small hot chocolate please."

"Coming right up. That's 2.99" I said.

After I handed them their order, there was another next in line.

I had to multitask to get all of the customer's orders right.

I made the blueberry danish, and Mathias' coffee placing it on the counter for Emil to bring over, along with everyone else's orders.

I really hope my brother doesn't mess up any of the orders.
I trust him not to at least.

"Emil, tie your shoelace!" I called out to him.

"Lukas, I never trip. You know that. I'll be fine." He replied.

I watched as Emil brought the plate over, his steps light, and a bit clumsy.
The string from the shoe crossed over, whipping it around as if it was a jumping rope.

He should be fine. It makes me a bit worried that he might trip though.

I continued to serve the customers,
bagging up their pastries and drinks in to-go cups as well as paper bags.

When I dealt with the last customer in line, I couldn't help but let out a small sigh.

It got a bit annoying when this one girl couldn't decide what she wanted, and took forever to order.

As soon as I thought we were safe from disasters, Emil had cried out, and I heard the crash of glass, colliding against the hard cement floor.

"OH MY GOSH, I'M SO SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN TO!!!"

Emil broke down, tears evident in his violet blue eyes.

I looked over to the commotion, noticing that it had attracted all of the customer's attention.

Emil was on the floor, the white shards splattered everywhere across the floor at the table near the window.

Mathias was drenched in steaming hot coffee, those stains won't be coming off of his clothes for some time.

Emil's cheek was blushed red in humiliation, and Mathias came over to give him a hug, even though he was drenched in coffee.

"Shh, it's okay. It's just coffee, it won't kill me or anything. It was just an accident. Plus, I love the smell of coffee!" The Dane grinned, patting Emil's silver white hair.

"I'm so so sorr-"

"Calm down. Take some deep breathes, kiddo!"

The audience's eyes haven't left them at all.

I have a feeling we'll be losing some customers now.
I'd be even more scared if we lost our regular.

I'm grateful that he had helped Emil calm down.
I grabbed one of his favourite pastries, stuck it in the microwave, and took it out, placing it in a bag.

Emil had calmed down, and cleaned up the mess, his eyes still a bit red from crying earlier.

I gave him a patient smile, saying that he did well at cleaning up. It's like it didn't even happen.

Before Mathias got up to leave, I handed him the bag of pastry for free, thanking him for calming my brother down.

"It was the right thing to do! Anytime, Norge." He flashed his 1000 watt grin before heading out of the café.

The atmosphere was unsettling after that.
