-Third Person POV-

Hotaru had gone to the park to clear her mind from the stress from school. Chibiusa was angry with Usagi and ran off when she bumped into Hotaru.

"Hi, Hotaru!" She says after a little while. Hotaru smiles a small smile and says, "Hello, Chibiusa. I hope you've been doing well." Chibiusa nods. "Yeah, I have. What about you?"

-Hotaru's POV-

Chibiusa shouldn't be talking to me. She's one of the sailor guardians, and I'm Sailor Saturn, the guardian of destruction.
Nonetheless, we talk everyday. I really like Chibiusa; she was the first one to truly accept me as a friend.

"I'm okay, I suppose..." I say to her. She looks at me concerned and says, "Are you sure?"

I sigh and look away. I don't want to upset Chibiusa by telling her what's really on my mind...

She sits down on the bench next to me. "What's wrong, Hotaru? You can tell me."
I feel my grip tighten as I say, "But I can't, Chibiusa!" She looks taken aback before saying, "Why not?"

-Chibiusa's POV-

Hotaru hides her face like she's about to cry. I want to know what's wrong so I can help her...

"Why not?" I ask her. When she answers, her voice wavers, telling me that she is crying.
"You're not.... You're not supposed to be friends with me, Chibiusa! I'm the Sailor Guardian of Destruction! You, like the others, are supposed to hate me... But, I don't... I don't want you to! But, I don't want to hurt you!"

"Hotaru..." I say as I turn my body towards her. "You won't hurt me." I assure her. She finally looks at me and yells, "You don't know that! I've hurt you before, who's to say it won't happen again?! Chibiusa, I can't lose you like that again;  I... I love you!"

Right after she says that, she covers her mouth and hides her head on her knees.

"Hotaru, you want to know something?" I say. She doesn't answer, so I keep going.
"I was turned evil once, too." Her head perks up and she looks at me.

"You?" She says. I nod and tell her how.
"I was turned into the Black Lady, and when I finally turned back to good, it triggered my transformation." I tell her.

-Hotaru's POV-

Chibiusa had just told me the story about her once being evil, and I was shocked.
"Wait, you couldn't transform before?" I ask her. She shakes her head.

"No. For a long time, I was made fun of because I was 'The princess who couldn't use the Silver Crystal'. Pluto dying in my fault triggered something in me to allow me to use my magic." She says.

She climbs on my lap, making me blush. "And, Hotaru?" she asks. "Wh-what?" I stutter.
"I love you too." she says before kissing my nose. My face gets very hot at this. I had almost forgotten I confessed to her...

Just then, Mamoru finds us. "There you are, Chibiusa. I was worried." he says.
She blushes as she turns around, still sitting on my lap.

"Mamo..." she says, also blushing. Mamoru looks between us, and says, "Did I... Interrupt something...?"
Me and Chibiusa look at each other, and we just start giggling.

After that, me and Chibiusa met in the park every single day, and eventually started dating seceretly. We were happy, and swore to each other that we would never let the other person leave.
