Nina latte is one of the more basic sounding characters on paper however she's meant to act as a sense of fresh air from the other female lead characters like izami, kirami, and Mirato who have a more negative attitude.

Origin

Nina latte's name was meant to be a play on words to sound like "need a latte" and is one of the only characters to have a name that is an intentional play on words. Nina grew up in a single parent house hold and her mom, who took care of her, was also a magic enforcer so she spent most of her time with one of her mom's close friends and the mother to Nina's best friend Leon Base.  Nina and Leon were always close through elementary and middle school and the 2 of them together made for many a teachers nightmare.  Nina was always a talented magician but magic was never really her style she preferred to get up close and personal with her opponents which would complete her battle partner, Leon once again. Who preferred to stay back and support Nina.  When deciding on a magic high school, Nina and Leon choose to go to the Leon institute but after finding that it wasn't their style, they transferred to the magic academy along with some of their other friends from the institute.

Abilities

Nina is a skilled Mixed martial artist as she prefers to be up close and personal rather than rely on her magic.  Nina studies both enhancement and bomb magic so that she can close the gap between herself and her opponent, people who can keep at a distance will have to worry about her explosive spells and those who aren't great and building distance will be demolished by her speed and strength enhancements.  When it comes to hidden abilities she has the abilities "hyped up" and "dance to the music."  Hyped up allows her to become invincible for a short time and absorb attacks that come her way, she can then use the energy she absorbed to power up her attacks for a short time or she can reflect all that energy back in one single strike.  Her other hidden ability dance to the music makes her defenses and healing properties sky rocket as long as there's music playing which one again fits perfectly with Leon's magic and fighting style.  Overall Nina is a very powerful fight but she is very confident in her abilities and her cockiness can get her in some bad situations against people that are on the same level as her.
