Sandy is our nice, weird friend. She's an easy target to attack, but her kindness is so rare, you don't want to break it. The polite words she uses when she is accused. I wonder, why can't I be like her? I used to despise her because of her perfection. But once I got under her skin, I found out she's got scars that she shows, but nobody ever notices. Her kindness comes out even if her father attacked her mom. Her smile brings sunshine even if her cat died. I idolize her now. She is my hero, my friend, my love. She is not mine to keep, nobody is. She is her free self that has found wings to fly with. Because of Sandy, I have changed for the better. I have learned to be free, to listen, to love. I thank you, Sandy! You are Magic!
