Intro: a shy girl who's only wish was to disappear, because of her wish most people can't see her and she later realized that her true wish was to have a place where she truly belonged. Luckily she found that after the radio wave girl incident with the other members of the rumor five
Pros:
•high defenses (ranked 10 out of 78 five stars in jp)
•great defensive connect that provides 100% damage reduction and a 40% defense up
•connect also comes with a 32.5% attack up
•good defense magia that provides damage reduction and defense up for the whole team
Cons:
•ABBCC disc deck makes it hard to get her magia out and it is also one of the worse disc decks to have for mirrors and PvE
•incredibly low attack (77 out of 78 five stars in jp)
•mediocre hp stat (35 out of 78 five stars in jp)
•her doppel has 2 different attack effects on it and there is now known way to consistently trigger one or the other so while doppel's aren't usually that big of a deal this can cause some problems in clutch situations where you somehow managed to get Sana's doppel attack ready
Conclusion: Sana has some of the same problems that Sayaka miki had in that she's a tank with very little offensive presence, her connect does provide attack up and is strictly better than Sayaka's because it basically makes that girl in invisible while Sayaka's takes a whole turn to take effect. In PvE sana can be useful for boss fights where you don't want magical girls to die and therefore need good defensive options but for the majority of the regular fights it would be better to switch her out with a more offense oriented girl. In mirrors she can theoretically be useful against yachiyo, nanaka, Sayaka, or other water type girls but she crumbles to other popular fire type picks such as tsuruno, rumor tsuruno, momoko (who can help her teammates to cut through sana's defenses (and the defense provided by her connect) like butter). She has strong magia but you'll be lucky to ever see it even in challenge quests and if you ever see her doppel it will be either a miracle or a double madoka team. Sana needs far too much support to function efficiently especially when compared to fellow grass type tank Mito Aino who sacrifices 600 points in defense for 2000 points in attack and 2000 in hp and has good offensive presence.
