"Wow!!! " you were awed at how breath taking Sindria was.

You had just moved from the Kou Empire after being old enough to be on your own.

You were glad to be independent now.

No more nagging from your noble family.

Isn't that great?

You can now escape from the torturous people of Kou who had always hated you.

Sure, you had some friends and they were coming with you to Sindria.

"Oomph," you fell on the ground right after bumping into someone.

"Ah, I'm sorry," a smooth male voice said, as a hand was brought out in front of you.

You looked at the person in front.

His purple low pony tail with his extra hair and his gold eyes seemed familiar to you, but you still couldn't pinpoint where you had seen it before.

The person widened his eyes as he saw you,"(Y/N)?!!!!"

"Uh....yes? And who are you? " you weren't sure how to respond to a stranger who just figured out your name.

Heck, you don't even want to respond.

He seemed disappointed to see you did not know him.

"Oh," he hung his head a bit before brightening and smiling. "My bad. You just looked like someone I knew."

"Oh," you awkwardly avert your eyes somewhere else. "Well, I got to meet up with my friends for a bit. I guess I'll see you later.'

You walked off to the direction your friends should be waiting for you.

You were about to greet your friends until-

"I can't believe (Y/N) thinks we should do some of the work if we are all going to live together."

"I know right?! She was the one desperately wanting us to go."

"Well, at least she has some money we can use. Plus Sindria does have some hot guys."

You looked where your supposed to be "friends" was looking at and saw it was the man from earlier.

"I wonder why that hot dude even looked at her. She is too ugly for any guys to look at her."

You felt as if many arrows had pierced you through the heart.

You had thought your friends were the only people who were on your side.

I guess you were wrong.

Honestly, you were used to being alone since childhood.

You wondered why you even sought friends in the first place since you had a feeling all along this was going to happen.

Right when you were about to leave, a young male voice rang through your ears.

"Find a true friend."

Changing your mind, you walked up to them.

Soon,their faces had become plastic smiles.

"Oh! (Y/n)-chan, we were just talking about ho-"

"DON'T GIVE ME THOSE FAKE WORDS!!!!!!" you shouted.

They seemed shocked but soon they recovered.

"What do you me-"

"I heard." you mumbled.

"What?" they nicely asked as if they did nothing wrong.

"I HEARD EVERY SINGLE STUPID WORD YOU GUYS SAID!!!!! IF YOU REALLY SEE ME LIKE THAT, THEN WHY DON'T WE JUST-"

You were slapped right across your face.

"Wow ! Took you that long to figure it out.We don't need you anyways. Come on, girls," they left with their head held high.

You were disgusted by them.

But soon you were to realize.....

You were all alone.

Honestly, you thought you were fine with this.

However, you were proven wrong when tears started to unconsciously fall down you face.

"The world is really cruel, isn't it ? "The man from earlier suddenly popped up behind you.

"WAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" you were taken into surprise.

Then, something clicked into your mind.

"Could you be......Sinbad?" you asked.

Smiling, he pet your head. "Took you long enough."

You smiled fondly.

You wondered how long it's been since you smiled like this.

~~~~~Flashback~~~~

There stood a young (Y/n) as she was sitting alone.
Her family had decided to visit Partevia when she was younger.
She was sitting by herself under a tree before a boy a little older than her approached.
"Yo." He said. "You seem new."

She nods as she said monotone ,"Visiting for a few months."

The boy looks at her as he waits for her to introduce herself.

After some awkward silence, the boy had not left and started talking scaring you.

You were about to leave until...

"You're really lonely, aren't you? " you froze at his words.

He did a small smile. " I can tell you don't have any friends from the way you seem to act to someone new."

His lips spread a little wider as he grinned. "My name is Sinbad. I'm guessing I'm your first friend as you are mine."

He held out his hand waiting for you.

For some reason, you didn't feel afraid any more as you gripped onto his hand.

"(Y/n)," you whispered, not thinking he heard.

"Ehh? (Y?N) sound beautiful," he smiled gently.

You felt your face heat up as you turned away.

You remember how much he had taught you and helped you to break out your shell more.

"Thank you," you whispered to him.

"Don't worry," he said.

"What are doing here?," you asked.

"Oh, well , you can say I'm the king," he said scratching the back of his head.

It slowly processed through your mind.

"EHHHHH??? That's amazing, Sinbad!!!!" you congratulated him.

"Thanks," he chuckled. "Hey, (y/n), do you still like gifts?"

"Uh, yeah ," you awkwardly answer.

"Close you eyes," he commanded.

"Well, this is sudden but whatever your majesty says," you joked closing your eyes.

You felt yourself being pulled forward as your lips landed on something warm and soft.

You slowly opened your eyes to see Sinbad's face in full view.

You slowly turned red as he let go of your lips.

"Should you really have done that to someone like me?" you asked red.

He brought you closer to him as he seductively whispered," Of course, my queen."

Before you could say anything more, he took your lips once again except it felt a little sweeter.

The world may not be as bad as you thought.
