*Isabelle's P.O.V.*

          Today is August 8, which is Shawn's birthday! I'm very excited about his birthday this year, because I actually get to spend it with him! Ellie, Mahogany, the boys, and I, all have a little surprise for him. First, I'm gonna wake him up really sweetly, and give him a kiss and tell him happy birthday. Last night, after Shawn went to sleep, Cam tweeted out that everyone needs to tell Shawn happy birthday, by tweeting it, posted it on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.! Then we are all going to take him out to breakfast! Finally, we are going to come back to the hotel, and later tonight, we are going to take him to the beach, which will be decorated, and have a little mini birthday party! I'm honestly so excited about this! Shawn isn't awake yet, so I decided that now is a good time to I'm to wake him up. I went to his room, and slowly opened the door. He was sprawled out on the bed, fast asleep, with his mouth slightly opened. I could hear light snores coming from his mouth, which made me giggle. He's so cute! I walked up to him, and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Shawn, wake up!" I whispered.

          He didn't move so I spoke a little louder, lightly shaking his shoulders.

"Shawn! Wake up, Baby!" I said, and he groaned a little bit, turning around.

          I laughed, and pulled his covers off.

"Isabelle..." He complained.

"Wake up!" I said again, sitting on his stomach. (A/N: That sounds really weird! It's not supposed to be!😂)

"I am awake." He replied.

          He looked up at me and lightly smiled. I leaned down, and placed a soft kiss on his lips.

"Happy Birthday!" I said, smiling.

"Thank you, Babygirl!"

          I reached over to his nightstand, and grabbed his phone. I unlocked it and went to Twitter.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

          I didn't say anything I just handed him his phone. He scrolled through, looking at all the happy birthday tweets, and smiled.

"Aww! This is so sweet! Did you guys plan this?" He gushed.

"Maybe." I said, flatly, and got up.

"You guys are sweet!" He replied, and I smiled.

"Get up, and get ready! We're taking you out to breakfast!" I said.

"Really?"

"What?" I asked.

"You guys don't have to do all this for me! It's just my birthday!"

"Exactly! It's your birthday! Your special day!"

"It's not that big of a deal! It's just another day of the year!"

"Shawn Peter Raul Mendes, don't you dare make me rant, about how important your birthday is!" I told him.

"Okay, Okay!" He said.

"GET READY!!" I yelled, playfully, making him jump, and I laughed.

"ALRIGHT!" He yelled back.

          We both laughed, and Shawn went into the bathroom to change. I waited in the room, sitting on his bed. After a few minutes, he came out, wearing black skinny jeans, a grey t-shirt, and black Vans. His hair was a little messy, so I went and ran my fingers through it.

"Isabelle, stoooppp..." He groaned.

"Oh, stop it! I'm just fixing your hair!" I laughed.

          Once I was done, I put my hands on his shoulders, and he rested his on my waist.

"I love you!" He said.

"I love you, too, Babyboy!" I replied, and kissed him.

          I wrapped my arms around his torso, and buried my head in his chest. He rested his chin on my head, and hugged me back.

"Happy Birthday, Shawny!" I smiled.

"Thank you, Princess!"

          We walked down to the lobby, hand-in-hand. When we got down there, Shawn was bombarded with 'Happy Birthday's. He was blushing the whole time, which I thought was cute. Everyone piled into the car, and drove to the restaurant. Once we got there, we ordered our food, and sat down.

*Skip to end of breakfast*

          We all finished eating, and now we're just talking. All of a sudden, I heard someone singing Happy birthday. Everyone around us started singing too, and Shawn's face was bright red. The waiter put a chocolate cupcake, with a candle on top, in front of Shawn. Once we were done singing, Shawn closed his eyes, and blew out his candle, as everyone cheered.

"What did you wish for, Shawn?" Matt asked.

"I can't tell!" he replied, smirking at me.

          I giggled, and Shawn ate his cupcake. We all laughed, as we watched Shawn take a bite of his cupcake, getting frosting on his nose.

"Shawn, are you sure you're 17?" (A/N: We are going to pretend Shawn was still in MAGCON when he was 17! Deal with it! 😂) Nash asked.

"Shut up, Nash!" He said, wiping his nose, with a napkin.

          Once we left, I told Nash, Carter, and Taylor to distract Shawn, while Ellie, Mohagany, Cameron, Matthew, Hayes, Jack, Jack, Aaron, and I set up the beach. Hopefully, we will have it done within an hour or two. We started with setting up the tables, under the pavilion. We put on the table cloths, and table decorations. Then we put up the streamers, and I told Matt to get the cake. The cake that I got him, says 'Happy Birthday Mendes!' on it, and it has a picture of all of us, and a 17. I set it on the table and then we finished up the decorations. After about an hour and a half, we were done.

*Nash's P.O.V.* (A/N: Changing it up a bit!😂)

          Me, Carter, and Taylor were told to distract Shawn, while the rest of them, set up! Let me just tell you, Shawn is not the easiest person to distract! He keeps asking where everyone else is and why we have to stay at the hotel.

"Shawn, would you stop worrying, about your girlfriend and just calm down! Your acting like a three year old!" I told him.

"Where did they go?!" He asked, for the millionth time!

"Hey Shawn!?" Taylor yelled, out of nowhere.

"What?"

"Wanna watch a movie?"

"I wanna know where everyone went."

"Movie it is!" Carter pitched in.

          Shawn groaned and we all sat down and started the movie. After a little while, I got a text from Isabelle.

I- "Hey! We're done setting up! You can bring Shawn down here now! Hopefully all goes to plan!🙌"

N- "Okay, we're on our way!"

"Hey, let's go to the beach!" I said, hopping off the couch.

"Wait, what about the movie?" Shawn asked.

          I grabbed the remote, and turned the TV off.

"Okay, fine!" Shawn said.

          We got ready, and headed down to the beach. Once we got there, Shawn looked at the pavilion and smiled.

"SURPRISE!!!" Everyone yelled, at the same time.

"Guys! This is awesome!" He said, blushing.

"Nah, it's nothing!" Izzy replied.

"Is this what you guys have been doing?" He asked.

"Maybe!"

"You guys are so sweet!"

*Time skip to later that night (Isabelle's P.O.V.)*

          Me and Shawn are currently laying in bed. We have our arms wrapped around each other, and we're just talking.

"Isabelle?" Shawn asked.

"Yeah?" I replied, looking up at him.

"I love you! I just wanted you to know that." He said.

"Aww! I love you, too, Babyboy!" I smiled, kissing his lips.

"Happy birthday, Baby!" I said, after I pulled back.

"Thank you, Princess!" He replied, and I put my head back on his chest, listening to him sing me to sleep.
