You [86]

"Excuse me, but what?" Gaster had been told to come back to the headquarters, for something that apparently was deemed as of upmost importance. Only he turned out to be surprised that he was being asked by the Andrew kid to make something for that fox: Blair, to keep her from doing anything suspicious. "Don't you think she's better being locked up in there? If we let her just walk around the headquarters we could have a bit of a problem on our hands." Gaster told Andrew bluntly. The teenager sighed. This guy was definitely Sans' father, he could tell. Just by the way they spoke you could tell they were related. Just like Sans, he was blunt and honest. Didn't care to tell you what he thought. At least to him anyway.

"But Gaster! Look, I know maybe you don't trust her, and perhaps no one else trusts her, but I do. I've been talking to her almost every day." Andrew admitted with the hidden worry that Gaster would snap at him. Though, this skeleton was calmer than Sans even if they were related. He didn't really snap. He could tell you something calmly and honestly though and it would still hurt. Gaster sighed as he was making his way to the elevator to head up, with Andrew following after him, pestering him.

"I know, I heard. Sans told me. He called me up that night an utter state. Said he accidentally hit Frisk when arguing with you." Gaster went on, pressing the button on the elevator to go back up to Grillby's bar. Andrew still felt extremely bad about that whole situation. He never meant for Frisk to get hurt in any of it. If anything he would have gladly let Sans give him a beating if it meant Frisk avoiding that accidental hit. During that point, it was his fault for not saying anything. It wasn't Sans'.

"Yeah... That was my fault. I couldn't tell him that I was talking to Blair without anyone knowing. And he was extremely mad about it... Can't say I blame him for that one... Though, do you know the story behind Blair and Sans? He seems to really hate her for some reason?" Andrew spoke, but all Gaster could do was shake his head. So even the father didn't know? Weird. But unknown to everyone but the couple - Sans and Frisk, Frisk was the only other person who knew about what Blair had done to Sans. No one else knew but her, because Sans didn't want to tell anyone else.

"So, maybe it's best to stay away from Blair. Otherwise you're only going to go and cause more trouble." Gaster spoke, going to step out of the elevator once the doors slid open, not giving Andrew the chance to answer. Not that that mattered, as Andrew just followed straight after him, going to sit next to the skeleton at the stools in front of the bar. "Hey Grillby." Gaster spoke towards his flame friend, who smiled a little at the arrival of Gaster.

"Hello, friend. Hello Andrew. Not working today?" Grillby questioned towards the human who shook his head, with the answer of "afraid not". Not that Grillby really minded all that much. Ever since Frisk moved in with Sans, Grillby expected Andrew would probably stop working here when he would be moving into Toriel's house. Seeing as there was a better place for him to sleep now, he could sleep there.

"Hey, Grillby, can I ask you a question? You know what it's like to be in love, right?" Andrew questioned towards the flame monster, raising his eyebrows at him slightly, which instantly made Grillby feel nervous. Wait, what was the boy getting at? This wasn't him trying to be some kind of match maker was it for him and Gaster? He frowned, until he sighed, just deciding to answer truthfully.

"I suppose so. Why do you ask?" Grillby questioned, while Gaster rose his own eyebrows in interest. Before Andrew could reply to the flame monster, Gaster spoke up.

"You're in love with someone? Since then? Who is the lucky girl? Or guy, you never know." Gaster joked with a chuckle, while Grillby just instantly felt a little disheartened. Okay, so maybe last time it had been his imagination that Gaster knew something. Maybe it had just seemed like he knew something when he didn't. Unless... He was just playing dumb right now? He didn't know.

"Um... It's no one interesting. Anyway, what were you saying, Andrew? Why were you even asking me that question?" Grillby asked, while Andrew was finally able to speak up without anyone else talking on top of him.

"Well, you would want to do things for the people you cared about, right? To make sure they were okay?" Andrew said, while Gaster rolled his eyes at the human boy's chatter. What was he even talking about? Why would the kid want to fall for the enemy that was locked up in their cell? Then again there had been a point where Andrew had been someone Sans considered as their major enemy, and still appeared to do so. Yet he wasn't locked up anymore and had turned out to be fairly trustworthy. Not that that meant it would definitely be the same case for Blair.

"What are you talking about? Didn't you used to be in love with Frisk awhile ago? What suddenly changed your mind?" Gaster wondered, while Andrew did nod at that. He knew people might not believe it, and he couldn't really believe it either when he started to feel what he did. He had been so confused, sure he had still been hung up on Frisk. But then he started thinking of Blair more, and not in the way that he was afraid of her. Not just that but the conversations they had slowly changed over time. Whenever he would come into her cell, she would get so angry at him and would want him to go away in a matter of minutes. But then it became like that less and less.

"I do like Blair, Gaster." Andrew sighed with a small shrug. "It just happened. Feelings don't exactly ask for your opinion, right?" He shrugged, while grinning towards Grillby who managed a small chuckle at that. That was so true. Grillby had never asked to fall for his best friend, but he had. And Gaster may have been smart, but sometimes it felt like he was as dim as anything when it came to romance. But again, he couldn't tell if he was pretending to not know anything.

Gaster stared back at Andrew, debating whether or not to give into that stupid request of his to create some kind of device for Blair to wear so she couldn't get out of headquarters and cause trouble. It felt like a waste of resources, and something that might only get him into trouble if Blair did anything. After all it would be on his hands for agreeing to let Blair out. Not that he couldn't deal with Blair if she tried anything. He sighed. "Fine. I'll see what I can do."

"Awesome, thanks Gaster!" Andrew beamed widely, actually really grateful to him when he said he would do it. "Now then, I better head home." Andrew continued, getting up from his stool. "Thanks again, Gaster."

"Yeah, yeah." Gaster sighed, waving Andrew off, before smiling towards Grillby once Andrew had gone to leave. For the moment, it was quiet apart from a few customers here and there sitting at the tables. "So, in love huh?" Gaster wondered. Sighing, Grillby shook his head. Why did Andrew have to mention such a thing? Now Gaster wasn't going to leave it alone.

"Just leave it, Gaster. Really, it's nothing." Grillby told him, wanting him to leave it alone. He wasn't going to tell him. Why should he tell him? He didn't deserve him anyway, so what was the point? He wasn't really anyone that special. Would Gaster even be happy with him? Wouldn't he just prefer for them to remain only best friends?

"Stop lying." Gaster told him, extremely straight faced, which took Grillby by surprise. What was that look on his face? "I know you're lying, so why won't you just tell me...? Come on, I'm your best friend." Gaster frowned at him. Why did the man so badly want to know? Couldn't he just leave it alone? He wouldn't, would he?

Sighing with defeat, Grillby thought for a moment of what to say. What could he say? Could he really tell him the truth? "Gaster..." Grillby paused. "...I'll tell you, when there's no one else here. So when work finishes, I promise." No getting out of it now. For now, Gaster would take that. He didn't mind waiting a couple of hours. So, waiting is what he did. Which shocked Grillby when Gaster did stick around. He really wanted to know that badly...

And now the time had come for him to admit the truth. Oh God, he didn't know if he could do it. He didn't feel like he had the strength to do it. Gaster would laugh. Gaster would hate him for it. Gaster would-- "Grillby? Grillby?" Gaster's voice was speaking, interrupting his thoughts. He hadn't realised he had been staring into space for a long five minutes, just staring at Gaster without saying a word. How embarrassing.

"S-Sorry. I spaced out for a minute there." Grillby gulped, until he sighed going to step around the bar, walking through the open flap so he could sit at Gaster's side on one of the other stools. Dammit. Why did he have to promise that he would tell him? He was so, so terrified right now. "Okay, so I said I would tell you..."

"Yeah... Though I can't help but notice how uncomfortable you are right now. So you don't have to if you really, really don't want to." Gaster told him. He didn't want to push Grillby to the point he was uncomfortable. The man made of flame thought about it for a second, thinking about the idea of backing out. He almost considered it. No! He couldn't.

"No, if I back out now, then I'll never say anything." He said, seeing Gaster's confused expression. "Okay... Okay..." Grillby looked down nervously, really, really hesitating. Gaster sat, waiting patiently for him to speak. "Gaster..."

"...Yeah?" Gaster replied, staring back at his best friend. For a couple of seconds, there was only silence, as Grillby was speaking up the nerve to speak. Until finally, he did.

"...It's you..."
