Mistake [83]

Packing up and sticking boxes closed wasn't exactly Chara or Asriel's idea of fun, (not that they really had many boxes to pack for their un-biological sister, considering Frisk didn't have many belongings since living with them), but even though it wasn't amazingly fun, they were happy to help Frisk nonetheless. "It's crazy to think you're going to be moving out... Feels like only yesterday that you came to live here because you couldn't stand that skeleton." Chara joked, while both Asriel and Frisk laughed a little at her comment. That was so true. Funny it was to think, how once she moved out to get away from him. Now all she wanted was to be at his side again. Sometimes things happened that you never really expected to happen.

When she had first met Sans, never did she think that she would actually fall in love with him. Truth be told she thought that day she was going to die, that her captors would kill her. She had been scared of Sans and Asriel, but neither of them turned out to really be as threatening as what met the eye. Asriel turned out to be a pretty sweet person. Quite normal, and a nice brother to have (even if they weren't actually related). And Chara was clearly someone who looked up to her brother too, considering they were practically inseparable. Any time you saw Chara, you were likely to see Asriel.

"very funny." Sans rolled his eyes, just as he was shutting the boot of his car, after fitting the boxes inside. Thankfully there wasn't much of pushing and shoving of trying to get the boxes inside, as established earlier it wasn't like Frisk had lots and lots to pack. Which did make Frisk think she probably needed to take the time at some point to buy some more possessions. Then at the same time she had all she really needed which were the essentials. She didn't want to waste her money on silly things that she did not need.

"Oh, how I'm going to miss you living with us." Toriel spoke up, as they were all standing outside near Sans' car. The goat mom went to go and wrap her arms around Frisk in a hug. Quietly giggling, Frisk happily hugged Toriel in return. She could tell her mother was saddened over the fact that she was moving out. Though, she also got the impression that Toriel was extremely happy for her too.

"I'm going to miss living here too. But I'll visit, I promise." Frisk said. She meant that. She would never want her family to think that she was drifting away from them because of her relationship with Sans. While wanting to spend as much time as she could with Sans, she wanted to think about her family too. "It's not like we'll never see each other again." She teased while pulling away from the hug.

"I know... But, again... If anything happens--" Toriel was saying, at least until Frisk interrupted her, not wanting her mother to worry so much. Even though she knew that would likely be something Toriel would never stop doing. It just showed that she cared.

"Mom, I'll be fine. I promise. And besides, it's not like you'll be lonely either. You have Chara and Asriel still around and maybe you can always let Andrew live with you again. He has been stuck at those headquarters after all. And in my opinion that's not a very nice place to sleep." Frisk smiled, hugging Toriel once more, until she knew they really needed to go - her and Sans. If they kept saying goodbyes like this they would probably be here all day, when she would likely see her family again in the upcoming days.

Finally, Frisk climbed into the car alongside her boyfriend, after all the goodbyes and she could only smile at the skeleton who chuckled a tad at her beaming face. They may have only been living in a small apartment, but it was such an exciting moment of Frisk's life. Only being a 20 year old, and this being only her, well, second relationship (counting Andrew as the short and first), she had never actually moved in with a guy before. Andrew might have lived in the same house as her with her family, but that had no romantic intention behind it. This... This was because they wanted to continue going forth in their relationship. That meant so much to this human. So, so much.

"i hope ya don't get homesick, livin' with me." Sans teased as he began to drive, focusing his pupils now upon the road. Giggling at his comment, Frisk shook her head. She figured it was likely going to be strange at first, waking up every day in that apartment. Even if it had been where she had started off with all these people. But she knew she would enjoy living there with the love of her life.

"I doubt it. Not I didn't love living with Toriel or anything but..." This was really cheesy what she was about to say next, but she said it before she could really take it back. "...Your apartment will be my home now, Sans." And once spoken, Frisk couldn't help but begin to blush, realising how cheesy she had sounded. Heck, even Sans must have thought the same as a soft hint of cyan made its way across his cheekbones. "I m-mean..."

"hey, ya don't have to take it back." Sans commented, glancing at her for a moment, only for a moment though seeing as he really had to look at the road (unless they wanted to crash). He briefly laughed, until talking once more. "it was really cute, what ya just said." As if Frisk's cheeks weren't red enough, they definitely gained more colour to them at him saying that. How could the guy be such a smooth talker without even seeming to try? To think if she had never tried to get past that rough exterior she was faced with... All those times he would try to push her away, or curse her off...

All those times flashbacked in her mind. The first time they met, when being introduced to him as a scary monster (considering he and Asriel had kidnapped her). And the time when Sans broke down about his father... Times where he had said that she was not his friend. That he didn't care about her... They were such tough times. But underneath those times, sometimes they could just have normal conversation. Somehow, they chatted, even when it seemed like he didn't always want to. At first, Sans had protected her for the sake of his promise to Toriel. But perhaps at some point, he began doing it because subconsciously he did start to care. Maybe in the end it was just meant to be.

"ya know though... i was just thinkin'... i've never actually lived with anyone like this before. not even blair." Sans admitted to her as he was still driving. He and Blair might have experienced some things together. But their relationship never really had gotten this far. Matter of fact, he didn't really remember them ever talking about the idea of living together. Of really talking about their future at all. Perhaps what they had back then just hadn't meant to be something that would go any further than it had. Not that he cared. Losing Blair gave him the best thing that ever happened to him - and that was Frisk. The girl who could actually give him a future. The girl who made him happy. He hoped they stayed together. Forever. And... He didn't really think that about anyone before.

"You better get used to living with a girl then." Frisk joked back, laughing alongside him. "Don't worry, I'll make sure not to make the apartment not too girly." She added, just continuing to mess around. She wasn't much of a girly girl, so it wasn't like that was exactly a concern he needed to worry about, (if it was even a worry). "Though, speaking of Blair, are you going to do anything about her yet? Or are you just going to leave her down there?" Frisk questioned. As far as she knew Sans just left her, not bothering to feed her. It definitely sounded like a painful way to die: starvation. While she hated Blair, and had shot her in the shoulder once as a reaction to protect Sans, part of her, still feeling like a pacifist, thought maybe something could be done for the  good. That maybe they could change her, or even give her in to the police.

"i already know what ya are thinkin'. and she isn't just gonna change, frisk." Sans frowned. "if anythin', i just wanna leave her to die. in my opinion, she deserves it, after what she did to me..." Sans grumbled, while his grip slightly tightened on the steering wheel. Noticing this, Frisk went to gently touch his shoulder, snapping him out of his rage induced thoughts, and he sighed, trying to relax. "sorry..." He mumbled. "...but we can go to the headquarters, and decide what we'll do. that's if she isn't dead already. i've left her there for quite awhile already, so it'll surprise me if she isn't nothin' but bone by now." He spoke grimly.

Nodding, Frisk agreed to them stopping outside the headquarters before heading back to his apartment to start unpacking everything. Getting outside, as per usual they got out of the car and went to head towards the entrance down the alley way. Sans was surprised not to see Andrew behind the bar, and could only narrow his eyes a tiny bit wondering where the little pest had gone. When asking Grillby, the flame monster simply said he took the elevator down, said he was going to rest.

Pacing towards the elevator, Sans got inside; Frisk followed. They headed down, and when getting to the correct floor, Frisk could already tell what Sans was thinking as he was making his way to the cells at quite a quick pace. He was likely worrying that Andrew was deciding to talk to Blair. The guy did eat and sleep here at these headquarters. The likely hood that he could have walked into the cell room by accident and she could have spoken to him... Might have been quite high. Turns out Sans was anxious for a good reason.

Andrew had actually been sitting in front of Blair's cell, talking to her after having given her food. It was strange, he had been doing this on and off for a little while now, not having been caught by anyone yet. When first doing this sneaking around business, he had been terrified. Terrified that he would be found out and killed, or that maybe Blair would eventually do something to get him into trouble. But there was one time where he had given her food, and for once he had managed to talk to her like she was a normal person. Well-- monster. She didn't appear scary, or fierce. The more and more they talked, the more she appeared to become less hostile and more calm.

"what the fuck is this?" Sans growled, the moment he and Frisk had entered the room. Andrew jumped up from where he was sitting, startled. And Blair just groaned with annoyance at how "The skeleton had to come along and ruin everything". By the expression on Sans' face, it was clear he was pissed. How could he not be when someone he hated, was helping his biggest enemy ever? He was furious.

"S-Sans... Listen... I can explain." Andrew gulped, right as Sans was pacing towards him, his eyes full of fury. Andrew suddenly yelped when he was grabbed by the collar of his shirt by the skeleton, and he was pinned up harshly against the cold wall.

"ya absolute fuckin' piece of shit. i should've known. of course ya would try to get yourself involved with her." Sans seethed. Frisk was talking right now, telling Sans to calm down and leave Andrew alone. However, with how angry he was for the moment, her words were far, far away. All he could imagine right now was how exactly Andrew's death would happen. He was so fucking angry.

"Just stop, and leave him alone!" Frisk demanded of Sans, going to try and get his attention by grabbing his arm and shaking him a little to snap him out of it. Right now this was the mafia side of Sans that was acting out. Not her lovable boyfriend. But that scary, fearless mafia skeleton who everyone else got to see. She couldn't blame him for being so furious. But she didn't want him to hurt Andrew. "Sans!"

"get off of me!" Sans snapped, going to go and try and shake her off of his arm in annoyance. Instead, he misjudged the force of his arm, accidentally swinging it towards her. Frisk squeaked as Sans' arm hit her hard in the face, and she was sent flying to the floor. It took Sans a moment to realise what he had just done, and in that moment he let go of Andrew, and his eyes were wide with shock, as he stared down at Frisk who was holding onto her cheek with tears in her eyes.

What did he just do?
