Okay so how many of you missed the Monster and the Rose?

I did! And so here i am with the next chapter!

Nandini's POV

"Nandiniii stop jumping around!" I heard Navya yelling but I couldn't pay attention on anything.

"Navyaaa! Oh my god! What if I failed?" I said with a horrified look.

"God Nandini! Stop panicking and sit here!" Navya scolded her.

Just then Manik walked down and saw me all stressed and pacing from here to there. He noticed Navya's irritated face while Alex was sitting in one place watching me.

"What's wrong?" He asked but once again I paid no heed.

"Ask your Rose! Getting all hyper! She's behaving as if her pregnancy reports are going to come!" Navya said irritated but Manik's eyes widened.

"What? How? Rose? You pregnant? I mean how? I haven't even done anything yet!" He came to me and blabbered.

"Manik!" I glared at him and he made an innocent face.

"And Navya - Shutup!" I said pissed and equally nervous.

"What wrong did I say? Look at you! All bothered and worked up! For what? Just for your graduation results! I mean comeon!" She rolled her eyes at me and Manik looked at me in disbelief.

"Seriously? You are worried just for 'this'? He said emphasising the word 'this'.

"Manik! Don't trouble me!" I whined and moved away from him.

"Where is Rishabh?" He asked and I turned to see him asking Navya. Navya shrugged in response telling him she had no idea about it.

He sat beside her and got busy in his phone. I looked at him with my mouth wide open. What the hell! I thought he would pacify me or atleast give me moral support. But here the monster is least cared. I glared at him and turned my face away from him.

Forget it!

I too got busy in my phone. Well wait! Did I forget to mention that the monster gifted me a phone too? Since he used to be out most of the time he gave me a new phone saying he would call me whenever he wishes to! How romantic! Note the sarcasm.

My phone beeped and I checked it. It was a message from an unknown number.

All the best baby! :*

The message read and it also had a kissing emoji. I frowned thinking who could it be. Who will have my number when it was all new and known to no one? Aryaman was out of the option, I had no friends and I never had a boyfriend! Also it couldn't be Manik as I had his number! Then who sent me this?

I was thinking about it when the doorbell rang and I went to open the door. There was no one outside but a bouquet was kept at the door. Picking it up I checked it and noticed a card kept inside it.

You are only mine! And I will be there to take you with me soon! Be ready baby ;)

My heart thudded inside my chest as the fear crept in me.

"Rose!" I jumped on my place and turned around abruptly to see Manik standing behind me.

"What happened? Why are you sweating?" He asked worriedly.

I threw the bouquet and hugged him tightly startling him. Nonetheless he hugged me back patting my head. He tried to break the hug but I didn't let him.

"Rose! What's wrong? Why are you so scared?" He asked again but I didn't reply as I clutched his shirt tightly in my fists.

"Nandini!" He said sternly as he tried to break the hug.

"Manik please!" My voice trembled as I pleaded him.

"Okay relax! Let's go inside!" He said softly and we moved inside.

Once he made me sit on the couch Navya came and sat beside me and before he could leave i held his hand.

"Manik don't leave please!" I pleaded being on the verge of breaking down.

"Rose I'm not going anywhere!" He assured me cupping my face but I was too scared at that time.

"Nandini are you okay? Manik what happened?" Navya asked worriedly seeing me in that state.

"I don't know Navya she -!" He stopped as I forwarded the card with my trembling hand which was with me the whole time.

He took the card while Navya tried consoling me. My eyes were on him and as soon as he read it his posture turned rigid and in that moment he wasn't my Manik anymore. He was the Mafia!

"Any other message?" He asked in a cold tone and I nodded slowly scared of his reaction.

Before he could ask anything else my phone beeped again which was kept on the table. I stared at the phone gulping in fear and Manik noticed it. He picked it up and read the message which made him more furious. What could be in that message?

"Ma-Manik what is it?" I asked gaining courage and his eyes shifted on me.

"You don't need to know!" His voice was so cold that it made me hiss.

He marched to his room after that with my phone fisted in his hand. As soon as he left the tears started flowing and before I knew I was sobbing badly. Navya tried to console me but I ran from there and shut myself in a room. Sliding down the door I cried to myself for being such a mess.

"Rose open the door!" I heard his stern voice but although he called me Rose it held no emotions.

I wiped my tears and stood up composing myself. As soon as I opened the door I was pushed inside and met with a rough pair of lips. He kissed me possessively as if wanting to claim me his and I let him do whatever he wanted. In that kiss I realised he was scared too! Scared to lose me! Scared to ever let me go!

We broke apart gasping and he rested his forehead on mine.

"I won't let anyone even touch you Rose!" He breathed out and that one sentence held a promise that washed away all my fears.

Promise to protect me!

Promise to never let me go!

"I trust you!" I whispered and he hugged me tightly hiding me in his arms.

"I won't let you go Nandini!" He whispered and the first time I didn't mind him calling me by my name.

After standing there for almost 10 minutes Manik broke the silence.

"Rose!" He called.

"Hmm?"

"Your result!" He reminded and I jerked away from him horrified.

"Oh shit! Manik my result! How could I forget? Oh my god! What do I do now?" I panicked.

"Relax! Rose listen-!" He tried to say something but I didn't let him.

"What listen? How can I listen? Manik its my result! I can't take this lightly! My career is at stake!" I kept on blabbering and atlast being irritated he kissed me to shut me up!

I looked at him wide eye and he kept a straight face as if nothing happened.

"Why did you kiss me?" I asked angrily.

"You weren't stopping!" He said as a matter of fact.

"So?" I said pissed.

"So I had to shut you up!" He shrugged.

"You could have just palmed my mouth!" I stated the obvious.

"This is my style!" He said proudly.

"Unbelievable!" I muttered.

"So you are saying you didn't like my style?" He smirked coming closer.

I blushed looking away but then again I remembered about my result. Before I could ask him anything he took out a paper out of nowhere and handed it to me. Confused I looked at him and he eyed the paper.

I opened it and squealed loudly as soon as I read its content.

"I cleared!" I said happily and he rolled his eyes.

"You had a doubt!" He stated in a bored tone and i narrowed my eyes at him.

"What? Look at this! You cleared with distinction and still you had a doubt that you will fail!" He said in disbelief.

I grinned sheepishly and kissed his left cheek surprising him. I ran out before he could say anything and saw Navya downstairs.

"Navyaaaa!" I squealed and ran to her hugging her carefully.

"I cleared my exam!" I said happily and she sighed smiling.

In that moment I was so happy that I forgot about everything else. Alex also barked happily seeing me happy and I picked him up dancing with him around.

"What's happening?" I turned around and saw Bhai and Rishabh entering.

"Bhaiii! Rishabh! See I passed in my exams!" I informed gleefully.

"Wow! That's nice! Congratulations!" Bhai said and hugged me sideways.

"Diii congratulations!" Rishabh said equally happy as me.

"Thankyou!" I smiled.

A phone beeped and all looked in that direction where Manik was coming from. He had my phone in his hand as he read the message.

"Cabir!" He called and gestured him to follow.

Bhai nodded and went behind Manik and I so wished to go behind him but I know he would get angry so I stopped myself.

"Rishabh take Alex and go in your room!" Navya said and he obliged before taking Alex from my arms.

"Nandini come here!" She said and made me sit on the couch and sitting beside me.

"What's the matter?" She asked patiently.

"I don't know Navya I think someone is spying on me! He is keeping an eye on me even if I'm staying in this mansion!" I said helplessly.

"You're right!" Manik said coming in the living room with Cabir bhai.

"There is someone who is stalking you!" He said and I stared at him worriedly.

"The type of messages he is sending tells that he knows where you are and what you are doing!" Bhai said.

"Manik show me the messages!" I said and this time he gave me the phone.

I opened the messages that were sent after the last one I read.

You know you looked so sexy in that yellow top! I wish I could kiss you then and there!

This is the last time I let him kiss you baby! Next time it would be me!

And don't be scared of me! I'm not a psycho like Aryaman baby! ;)

A shiver of disgust passed through me as I read the last message. I shuddered at the thought of him knowing my every step. I looked at Manik and saw him already looking at me.

"Why didn't you delete them?" I asked.

"Because when I find that fucker I'll make him delete these messages while he'll be dying!" He said with cruelty and I could see the amount of rage in his eyes.

"We need to be careful! And for that Nandini you won't be having any phone from now! Also the sim will be destroyed!" Bhai said and I just nodded.

"Manik you need to be with her everytime because we can't risk her life again like we did last time!" He continued and Manik gave a stiff nod.

"I'll dig out where is all this coming from!" He said to himself.

"What do I need to do?" Navya questioned thinking deep.

"You need to sleep and take rest!" Bhai faked a smile and Navya huffed making me smile.

Cabir bhai left with Navya and just then Manik muttered.

"I need a drink!" He murmured but I heard it.

"You drink too?" I said with a disgusted face.

"Any problem?" He raised his eyebrows.

"Yes!" I said angrily.

"Cool! Bye" He shrugged and walked away.

"Bye? Hello? Manik!" I followed him and discovered something else.

A fucking mini bar? He had a bar too in his mansion?

I looked at all the liquor bottles with the most disgusted face. I hate alcohol! While I was staring Manik made a drink for himself and was going to drink it when I stopped him.

"Manik! You won't drink!" I said furiously.

"Rose! Not now!" He said.

"Manik!" I gritted.

"God! What? This is just water! See!" He showed me his glass which had water like substance in it but how could I trust him on this!

"I don't trust you!" I said crossing my hands.

"What? Just sometime back you confessed that you trust me! And now you're saying you don't? So early your trust broke on me? I'm hurt!" He said faking a heartbreak and I rolled my eyes.

"Okay! You don't trust me right? Taste it!" He said and I looked at him suspiciously.

"What? Come on drink it!" He said and I took the glass in my hand inspecting it and smelling it.

Slowly I brought it near my lips and before I could drink it he stopped me.

"One minute!" He said loudly.

"Now what?" I said irritated.

"You need to drink it in one go!" He said and I frowned.

"What? Why?" I asked.

"Why what why? Its just water so drink it fast!" He said.

"Fine!" I said and drank it in one go.

"What *cough* the *cough* hell *cough*!" I made a bad face at the taste and coughed.

I looked at Manik to see him smirking. He tricked me! That monster!

"Strong vodka Rose!" He whispered in my ears.

"Have a difficult time Manik Malhotra!" I coughed out and he looked confused.
