Nandini's POV

Ugh! Why me?

There stood Rishabh and Bhai all covered with mud. They both were glaring at each other every five seconds when their eyes would meet.

Like seriously! All the donkeys and monkeys were in my fate only!

Having enough of their glaring session I opened my mouth to say something.

"CABIRRRR!!!!"

What? I didn't even utter a single word! Then how can I hear myself saying his name?

It was then I saw him giving a horrified look but not looking at me but behind me. Confused I turned around and saw Navya standing there fuming in anger.

Oh yeah! She was also present in the room!

Rishabh was controlling his laugh seeing Bhai so terrified and as Cabir bhai gulped seeing the ferocious look on Navya's face, he tried to escape but too late. She marched towards him and stood infront of him glaring him hard.

"What is all this? Are you a kid? Is this the way to behave? Rishabh is a kid but you! You Cabir are going to be a father! Are you going to do the same with your kid? I am telling you Mr. Cabir Dhawan, I won't let you in inside our room at night if all this continues!" She said furiously and Bhai's eyes widened at the last sentence.

I gestured Rishabh to move inside and leave for his room which he did making a pouty face.

"And who will wash these clothes? Do I look like your personal maid? You men don't have to do all the work! It is us who have to work all day at home! What about you? You all have to sit at one place and work but we women - we have to get up early, do the morning chores, prepare breakfast, wash the clothes, prepare lunch, wash the dishes...." She went on and on and all Bhai did was listen silently like an obedient husband.

"Navya breathe!" I interrupted and she stopped gasping but still glaring at him.

He gave her the puppy look but she didn't budge and I chuckled looking at them.

"Don't even try! These puppy faces aren't ...Aah!" She yepled in pain suddenly keeping a hand on her stomach and we got alert.

"Navya! Are you okay?" Cabir bhai asked as he made her sit on the couch.

I ran towards the kitchen and got back with a glass of water and handed it over to her. Kneeling down beside Bhai I looked at her with concern seeing her in this condition.

"Navya?" I called and she opened her eyes and looked at me.

She smiled assuring me that she was fine while I smiled back. Looking at Bhai she found him staring at her with lots of emotions.

"I'm fine Cabir!" She said softly.

But he didn't pay attention to any of her words as he took her in a possessive, bone crushing hug as if trying to assure himself that she was really fine.

"Please don't pull all these stunts on me! You know I can't see you in pain!" He whispered and she smiled rubbing his back to soothe him.

"It's okay! I'm fine!" She said softly and he parted away slowly.

I was just adoring these two when Alex decided to interrupt. He woofed and Navya and Bhai's staring session ended. Both straightened themselves as I glared at Alex.

"Ugh. Cabirrr! Look what you did! You ruined my clothes too!" Navya said irritated looking at her clothes.

Bhai smiled sheepishly and mouthed a sorry to her to which she huffed.

"Erm. You both can go to your room and continue your muddy romance!" I teased as they both turned to me.

Navya turned scarlett and Bhai looked away being embarassed.

"Alex! We'll only leave these two! You know we can't watch any further of their ...." I trailed off as Navya glared at me.

Chuckling I got up with Alex in my arms and left the living room and went upstairs. I reached outside Rishabh's room and knocked on his door.

"Rishabh?" I called and he opened the door.

He had freshened up and changed his clothes. I smiled and got inside his room walking towards his bed. Placing Alex down I gestured Rishabh to sit beside me. He followed and sat down beside me.

"So start! Why were you and Cabir bhai glaring at each other?" I asked directly and he widened his eyes.

"I said that you love me more than him so he said no and I got angry!" Rishabh chided and I was stunned.

"You love me more no Dii?" He asked and I was still lost in my thoughts.

"Diii?" He whined.

"Huh?" I said and looked at me.

"Say nooo!" He frowned.

"Rishabh!" I sighed shaking my head.

"I love you both equally! It's not like I love him more or same about you! You both are my brothers and I love you both!" I explained softly as he listened.

"You know when I met Bhai for the first time! He was so kind and caring even when he didn't know me. He looked after me like his little sister! You always wanted a sister right Rishabh?" I asked and he nodded.

"And you got one? Though not biologically!" I asked and he nodded again.

"Just the same way Cabir bhai too always wanted a little sister but he never got one until now. You should see the happiness in his eyes when I always call him Bhai, they shine just the way when you call me Dii! You'll know how happy he is!" Looking at him I saw him deep in thoughts.

"Dii! Are his parents also like ours?" He asked innocently and I was stunned for the second time.

"I don't know Rishabh!" I sighed.

"Dii I promise I won't trouble him anymore!" Rishabh said and I smiled.

"That's like my brother! I love you my baby brother!" I cooed hugging him tightly.

"I'm not a baby!" He whined and I laughed.

Later that night when Manik came back he didn't find me in his room. He searched for me everywhere but I was nowhere to be seen. He panicked and started shouting my name.

"Nandiniii!" He yelled and Bhai came out of his room.

"Manik what's wrong?" Bhai asked and Manik looked at him worried.

"I can't find Nandini! She isn't in the mansion!" He stated.

"Manik are you sure you checked everywhere?" Bhai asked.

"I did dammit!" He said frustrated.

"Terrace?"

"Cabir man I checked ..!" He stopped abruptly and looked at Bhai who was standing there looking at him with his eyebrows raised.

"I didn't! Oh shit! Thankyou buddy!" Shouting he ran towards the terrace.

"Whipped!" Bhai whispered looking at the direction where Manik went and shook his head.

Manik reached the terrace panting heavily and found me standing there.

"Rose!" He breathed out standing behind me and I turned around surprised.

"Manik? Why are you panting?" I asked looking at his state.

"You were not in the whole mansion!" He said, his tone accusing.

"So?" I asked confused.

"So? So I thought you -!" He stopped and grunted something under his breath before looking at me again.

"What are you doing here?" He asked sharply.

"Manik what is wrong with you? I just came here to spent some alone time!" I said irritated.

"Enough of alone time! Now come with me!" He said angrily and held my hand tightly dragging me with him.

"Manik! What are you doing? Leave my hand!" I said trying to get my hand out of his hold but he didn't budge and continued dragging me until we reached the room.

Shutting the door behind he left my hand and i blasted.

"What the hell Manik! Why did you drag me here? I don't want to stay here!" I said angrily and turned around to leave but couldn't as the next second I was pinned to the wall with him so close to me.

"Manik!" I gasped seeing him so close.

"Say that again and see what I'll do!" He gritted, his eyes blazing.

"W-What are you ...!" I stopped as the intensity in his eyes made me gulp.

"Don't you ever stay out of my sight ever again!" He warned and that's when it dinged.

He was scared!

"Manik you are scared!" I said abruptly looking at him and his face softened.

"Rose!" He sighed resting his forehead against mine.

"Manik!" I called him softly and tried to free my hand from his hold and surprisingly he let me.

I caressed his hair making him sigh as he relaxed and held me tightly by my waist.

"I'm not going anywhere Manik!" I whispered softly.

"I promise to stay with you always as long as you push me away I won't leave your side!" I confessed and he opened his eyes.

"I won't ever push you away!" He whispered back and we stared in each others eyes not wanting to break the eyelock any time soon.

He pulled me closer by my waist and my breathing got uneven as the minimal distance between us was also decreasing.

This time neither did he ask me to stop him nor did I want him to stop!

He leaned in until our lips brushed against each other when he locked his eyes with mine. Our breaths mingled as my fingers were still entangled in his hair making my hold tight.

I don't know why but I couldn't feel anything except the feeling of the whole zoo in my stomach. I didn't close my eyes not wanting to break the eyelock neither did he.

When after few more minutes he made no advancements of doing anything else I grew angry, frustrated and hurt.

I pushed him away with force but the next thing he did left my eyes wide open.
