FIFTEEN
Rehan opened the car door for his bride and carefully helped her step down, at first supporting her head and then helping her with her long puffy dress. However, as soon as she stepped out, she stumbled and her husband's hard chest broke her fall. She gripped onto his shoulders like griping on to dear life as he too held her carefully like holding a glass doll.
"Are you ok butterfly?"
Muskan shook her head as it was even getting hard to breathe because of her anxiety. Rehan held her tighter to his chest examining her face.
"Hey... what's wrong my butterfly?" He asked worriedly, caressing her cheek with his knuckles.
"I.... I'm too nervous Rehan....soo many people are inside. I can hear them." She whispered.
He rubbed her back trying to placate her and whispered softly into her ear.
"It's ok.... I've got you butterfly. Just hold onto me. No one can hurt you and you look beyond beautiful today. I bet a lot of people will be envious."
He said and placed a lingering kiss on her forehead.
"You won't... leave me right?" She questioned asking for assurance
Rehan smiled at her cuteness.
"Never."
Muskan could smile again now feeling at ease because she knew if her Rehan was with her then she could handle anything.
"If you really don't feel well then we can go home." Rehan asked just to be sure.
Muskan shook her head.
"This party is important for you....so it is for me too."
Rehan smiled locking her arm with his.
"Butterfly, if you say stuff like that it'll make my heart race."
She giggled blushing and they both made thier way inside the party.
Everyone had thier eyes fixed on the new couple as every pair of eyes were eager to see The Rehan Mirza's Wife. Whispers and chatters made thier way to her ears as all those hushed voices felt like a heavy dark cloud floating over her head. She held onto Rehan's arm even tighter.
"Rehan! My man! Glad you could make it to the party!" Muskan heard a man's voice approaching them.
"How could I not when you invited us!" Rehan smirked and hugged the host of the party while still holding his wife's hand below.
"Ah, so this is our bhabhi. You're quite the lucky man to find such a beautiful bride huh." That man patted Rehan's back and turned his attention towards Muskan.
"Hello bhabhi ji, I'm Rehan's oldest and dearest friend Sagar."
He had stretched his had in front of her and Muskan turned her head towards the direction of the voice.
"Assalamualaikum."
Sagar watched her sceptically as his hand was still waiting in mid air.
"Our bhabhi is quite..... special huh?" He smiled.
Rehan understood he was talking about her blindness and smiled back pulling her closer by her shoulders.
"Yes she is."
He said shaking his hand instead.
"BTW, oldest and dearest? Now you're exaggerating."
"Ha! So what, I'm not your oldest and dearest friend? Yeah of course, you're married now. How can anyone be more dearest to you then Bhabhi?" He teased.
Muskan smiled listening to thier playful conversation and her heart warmed up hearing her husband being soo cheerful.
The went around being introduced to new people one by one and Muskan started making mental notes to be able to recognise the names of the people by thier voices....and thier perfumes, but all this concentration was starting to put pressure on her brain beginning too give a slight signs of headache.
Everyone was sweet to her, atleast to her face but one not soo sweet person crossed thier path too.

Khushi n Yasir were busy with other people too. Just then 2 girls walked towards them...or rather just towards Yasir.
"Hi~~Yasir~~"
Khushi raised an eyebrow at them who came frolicking with big doe eyes and cleavages too deep, towards her husband completely ignoring her existence.
"Hi." He replied casually.
"OMG! You look soo handsome."
"Yeah, this suit suits you soo well." The other girl joined giggling eyeing him like candy.
"Why? I don't look handsome in other clothes?" Yasir smirk earning a look like daggers from his wife.
"Of course you do! But today you look extra handsome....and hot!"
Yasir chuckled.
"You ladies don't look any less hot either today."
At this Khushi lost it and grabbed her husband's behind gripped it hard enough to make him shiver.
"I'm here too ya know!" Khushi grunted at the girls.
"Oh....hey Khushi."
"Aren't you going to complement me too like how you were flirting with MY husband!" She gave them a scary smile glaring daggers at them.
Both the girls flinched and momentarily looked at Yasir who seemed physically in pain.
"Uh...oh look, someone's calling. Gotta go. Bye Khushi.... Yasir." One of them shuttered and both the girls ran with thier tails between thier legs.
"Ow...ow...jaan... please.... please..."
Khushi finally released her grip and Yasir let out a sigh of relief wincing in the afterpain. His wife was more dangerous than all those gangsters present at the party.
She glared at him making him flinch.
"No need to come back home!"
Saying, she darted towards the exit blazing with fury.
"No no no....jaan.... babe I'm sorry....jaan.... I was just joking around.....jaan...." Yasir ran behind her apologising to no avail.

"Butterfly, try this." Rehan said bringing a piece of kabab to her lips.
Muskan smiled covering her mouth full, her eyes sparkling.
"Is it that good?" Rehan asked grinning.
She nodded happily in response making him chuckle.
"I think I can make this." She said readily accepting another piece by her husband.
Rehan put the same fork in his mouth as he watched her in awe.
"Really? Just by tasting once you can even recognise all the ingredients?"
She nodded.
"Wow! My wife is soo smart. You should be on MasterChef! I'm such a lucky man." He said tugging her hair behind her ear.
Muskan blushed.
"No, I'm the lucky one." She mumbled to herself.
"Ahem!"
A certain disturbance made the couple turn to thier left.
"Mrs Khan?" Rehan called out quite formally to the middle aged woman.
"Rehan Mirza. So you finally decided to attend a party this year? I thought you hated this kind of things." She smirked crossing her arms.
"I do, but I had to introduce my wife to everyone."
Mrs Khan noticed how softly Rehan Mirza, the ruthless Mafia leader was smiling at his wife beside him. She had hardly seen his lips twitch in the past couple years she had known him, but now....he seemed like a totally different person.
"Assalamualaikum." Muskan smiled her ever soo sweet and heartwarming smile that stole almost half the people's hearts at the party. But this woman was the least impressed. And to think she was also blind had left a bad taste in her mouth.
"So this little girl is your wife?"
Muskan's smile disappeared hearing that.
The woman brought her hand forward in front of Muskan but of course she had no idea. So Rehan guided her hand onto hers.
"Hah! You even have to be her puppet master to move her arms and legs. Oh right! She's blind.....tsk, how useless."
The woman said making a disgusted face.
The woman's words felt like a slap on Muskan's face.
"Mrs Khan! Mind your words. She's my wife!" Rehan said softly but the anger in his voice was distinct.
"Yes, a blind one. What is the matter with you Rehan that you rejected MY daughter for this good for nothing burden...."
"Enough!" He warned again but she didn't stop.
"What did she do to charm you huh? Came up flapping her hands and crying, telling you her sob story. Why are you wasting your youth caring for such a useless charity case while leaving behind my perfect daughter?"
"Just stop it Mrs Khan!" His voice got louder unknowingly attracting nearby attention. He was only keeping quiet out of respect for her gender and age or else he had already killed her numerous times inside his head.
Useless...Blind.....Useless!!!
That word was ringing inside Muskan's head. That's what she had grown up listening to after all. However, by now she had almost forgot how much that word hurted her. This woman had just carved up her wound again which was on the verge of healing.
"My Neha is perfect in every way. In beauty, intelligence and what not. After you rejected her she'd been crying for days....and all for what ... this lowly abnormal wench!"
"I SAID ENOUGH IS ENOUGH MRS KHAN." Rehan growled finally losing his cool as his voice echoed throughout the party hall. He took a step towards her, his eyes spitting fire making him look like a predator. The woman trembled stepping back unconsciously.
"The only reason I'm holding back is because you're an old woman and I'd once worked with your husband. Also because my wife is with me. Or else by now I'd have made holes in your heads as many times you insulted my Wife. My butterfly is more perfect than any other woman in the world. She doesn't need a certificate from someone of the likes of you. And hear me well...."
He looked around at everyone.
"...if anyone ever dares to disrespect Rehan Mirza's wife or dares to looks down on her in anyway.... will directly be on war against me!"
His intimidating threat in that blazing voice was enough to send shivers down everyone's spine. He turned towards Muskan and all his anger died down almost immediately when he saw her trembling like a leaf. He gently pulled her to himself and noticing that she was too shaken to even move, he bent over and lifting her in his arms, walked outside giving that woman one last warning look.
His heart was aching as his delicate butterfly was sobbing on his chest. He carefully made her sit near the fountain in the lawn as he kneeled down in front of her on the grass.
"Butterfly.... I'm sorry, please don't cry." He said swarmed with guilt, wiping her tears gently.
She was sobbing harder and the ache in his chest was growing. So he sat beside her pulling her to his chest, caressing her back.
"I didn't wanted to scare my sweet butterfly. I'm soo sorry my love. Please forgive you Rehan this once... please stop crying." He whispered kissing her hair.
"I... I want to go....go home.... please..."
She cried gripping his coat.
"Yes, I'll take you home right away."

"Jaan~~~"
Khushi slammed the bedroom door on Yasir's face almost fracturing his nose.
"Ow! Baby...." He whined opening the door and bit his tongue seeing her back turned towards him. He was a dead man today.
"Why are you here? I thought you'd be gone to those two whores and having a threesome!" She huffed whilst angrily freeing her hair from all those annoying clips and pins, and that to she had taken soo much efforts to get ready for her husband!
Yasir smiled hugging her from behind.
"How can I when I have such a sexy wife waiting for me at home?"
She tried to push him away but his grip was too tight.
"Yeah right! You're bored of this old wife of yours so you seek some fresh meat outside. Ok go on! Flirt with girls or fuck them. I don't care!" She yelled almost on the verge of tears.
Yasir saw that through the mirror and immediately got down on both his knees holding his ears giving her those puppy eyes.
Khushi almost melted seeing him but still kept her guard up. Trying her best to ignore him she got busy rubbing off her makeup.
She walked to the wardrobe and unzipped her gown pulling it off of her. She could feel his eyes lingering all over her while he was still on his knees. She ignored him and casually moved around the room in her black garter belt lingerie provoking him.
"Damn! Soo hot." He groaned aching to hold her.
Khushi smiled victoriously.
"What, after flirting with other women, now you want me? You pervert!"
"I always want you jaan." His voice came out hoarse.
A gasp escaped her lips as she turned around and he was way too close to her feelings his hot breath on her stomach. She couldn't help but think how sexy her hubby looked kneeling down in that 3 piece suit and staring at her with such lustful gaze. He looked like a complete meal.
She got down and stradled his lap.
"I haven't forgotten you know."
He licked his lips staring deep into her eyes letting his hands rub over her thighs
"Then u can punish me in any way you see fit my Queen."

Muskan was too quite on the ride back home. She even sat far away from Rehan on the back seat.
He tried to hold her hand atleast but as soon as she felt his touch she immediately took her hand back to her aching chest. He sighed giving up and kept quiet too. He didn't know what to say or how to console her. He was hopeless when it came to matters of the heart. Just because of that stupid bitch, his cheerful butterfly was depressed again. He missed that shy smile on her face and somewhat blamed himself for her condition.
She allowed him to help her out of the car, her head down not letting him see but when he tried to hold her she straight on went walking inside the house counting her steps in her own daze.
He closed the bedroom door behind them when she stood inside sobbing silently.
"Butterfly...."
"I'm sorry I'm like this.... I'm.... useless and pathetic, taking advantage of your goodness. I dared to think too highly of myself that someone could ever love me. I was delusional and selfish. I'm probably just some kind of charity case to you. I forgot that I'd always be a bothe...."
Rehan hugged her tightly from behind hiding his face in the crook of her neck, silencing her.
"No... no my butterfly, that's not true. You're not a burden, you're not useless, you're nothing like that woman said. You're special my love, for all of us. We all love you like you love us. You changed all our lives for good, you're a part of us, of our family.... You don't realise how much you've done for me. You taught me to love when I'd given up all hope, you taught me to smile, you gave me a new life, changed me....you gave meaning to my arduous life. Muskan....my delicate butterfly, I love you like no one else, I can't even imagine my life without you....all these years, I never dared to open my heart to anyone else. When....we lost our mother, I had lost faith in humanity itself. All I had was Khushi, i didn't had a reason to go on. I was just living because I had to. But the moment I set my eyes on you, your innocence, your beauty, your purity.... I couldn't help but lose myself to you. You gave me a purpose to breathe...to want to live. You made my heart bleed again. You're all that I can think of. I've engraved your name in my heart and soul, my butterfly....and no one can erase it."
Muskan turned towards him and felt for his face. As always his eyes closed as her delicate fingers gently moved all over his face.
"Rehan.... I can't even see you. Like an idiot I have to roam around my hands all over your face. Everytime I hear you, I want to.... kiss those lips again and again, but I can't because I can't see them. I can't even see when you're mad at me or when you smile. I always bother everyone to explain to me even little things. How can I keep you happy like that?"
Muskan almost got back blinking her tears but Rehan grabbed both her hands pulling her to his body.
"Touch me more!"
Muskan froze at his words.
"You can't see me.... but you can touch me, feel me and know how I look like. So do that, because.... I love it."
Muskan's heart raced hearing his words.
"Re... Rehan?"
"I've been holding back so much everytime you even came close to me. I know what you've been thorough and I didn't wanted to scare you. I don't know if you're ready to accept me or not yet. I fear I might lose control of myself and hurt you... The truth is Butterfly..... I want you soo bad that it's driving me crazy!"
He pressed her closer to his body by her waist, his voice turning hoarse.
"Even right now I want to peal that gown off your body and feel every part of your soft skin. Kiss every inch of your body. I want to kiss your lips till we can't breathe and.... I want to make you mine. You're beautiful, enticing, and you light me up....it gets hard even holding back now."
Muskan shivered at the choice of his words, the longing and lust in just his voice was making her heart thump on the walls of her chest. Her cheeks flushed red and mouth went dry.
"I want to make love to you Muskan.... I want to embrace you in such a way that...."
Muskan placed her hand on his mouth stopping him getting breathless. His voice was firm with no hesitation.
"P... please...s...stop." her voice came out as a breathless whisper.
Rehan bit his tongue in his mouth realising too late what he was blabbering about.
"Sorry butterfly...." He gulped.
"But all that's true."
The most feared Mafia leader in whole of Mumbai becomes unnerved in front of his petit wife. What will the people say if they find out? Maybe they did at today's party. Most of the chattering were about that. Not many cared about Rehan Mirza's wife being blind. Most of them were appalled seeing him being a mess of emotions as he couldn't take his eyes of her even when she was right in his arms.
"You ...talk a lot you know." Muskan muttered hiding her face turning red.
Rehan chuckled softly.
"You think soo?"
"Me too..." She mumbled under her breath.
His eyes widened for a moment making his heart skip.
"What did you say my butterfly?" He whispered closing his eyes and bringing his lips close to her ear.
Muskan fisted his coat gathering the courage to speak.
"Rehan.... I...."
He brought his mouth over her cheek.
"Yes butterfly."
His hot breath on her skin made her shiver.
"I....want to....be yours too..." she breathed.
Rehan smiled and placed his lips over hers.
"Really?" He whispered over her lips.
Muskan closed her eyes giving in.
"I love you.... Rehan .... I love you." Her lips touched his as she spoke her heart out.
Rehan almost lost it as he sealed thier lips in a passionate kiss.
Muskan didn't even realised when they both fell on the bed and his huge frame hovered over her petite one.
Tears of happiness filled her emerald eyes as....that night.... they finally became one.
