Part: 47 MAGICAL LOVE

Andrew broke the hug and cried even more, seeing Chloe's bruised face. She was also crying profusely, looking at him. He caressed her face before leaning down and placing tender kisses on every inch of her face. With each kiss, he wanted to take away all her pain. She felt immense relief with every touch. His kisses were like magic, slowly washing away all her pain and sorrow.

His eyes fell on Dan, and uncontrollable anger surged within him.

"You bastard, I'm going to kill you!" he roared, pointing the gun at Dan. "I thought you cared for me. You were like a father to me, and you did this behind my back to my Sunshine? How could you? I'll kill you."

"If you kill me, you'll never find Zia," Dan smirked, despite his injuries, still not leaving his evilness.

Andrew marched over and grabbed him by the collar. "I'll find her. You don't need to worry about that. Now, no one can save you from me. I'll show you what happens to someone who betrays Andrew Anderson and hurts his girlfriend. You're going to regret it," he growled.

"No one knows where Zia is except me. If anything happens to me, my men will kill her. You'll have to sacrifice your girlfriend's aunt to punish me. The choice is yours," Dan said in a cold tone, while Andrew glared at him with murderous intent. Chloe was still shedding silent tears, feeling weak and helpless.

Andrew punched Dan hard. "I hate you, and I'll kill you right now," he yelled, pointing the gun at him again, seething with anger.

"Chloe, do you want your aunt to die too?" Dan taunted, turning to Chloe, and she looked at him with pure hatred.

Then she turned her sorrowful eyes to Andrew and pleaded, "Andrew, we have no other choice. We have to listen to him. My aunt is already suffering, and I don't want her to die because of me."

Andrew walked over to her. "Sunshine, we'll find her. I can't let him hurt you any more," he assured her, gently clasping her face in his hands.

They both frowned as they heard Dan's evil chuckle. "You two will never find her," Dan sneered.

"Now take me to the hospital if you want to see your aunt alive. I can't bear this drama anymore."

Andrew opened his mouth to shout, but Chloe stopped him by holding his hand. He looked at her, and she pleaded with her eyes. "Please, Andrew."

He closed his eyes dejectedly and nodded. "Okay," he agreed reluctantly.

Andrew ordered his men to take Dan to his mansion, where his private medical room was located.

Once they reached the mansion, the doctor began preparing Dan for surgery. Dan demanded, "Chloe will stay with me inside the room during the operation."

They both glared at him, standing hand in hand.

"I don't like repeating myself, Chloe," Dan sassed, glaring at their entwined hands.

Chloe reluctantly let go of Andrew's hand and went inside with Dan, casting a helpless glance at Andrew. Only Andrew knew how hard it was to control himself from burning Dan alive.

As soon as the doctor closed the door, Andrew called Mike.

"Yes, Boss," Mike answered.

"Have you found anything about Zia?" Andrew asked, pacing the corridor restlessly.

"No, Boss, but we're looking," Mike replied. Hearing this, Andrew closed his eyes in distress.

"Mike, do whatever it takes—just find Zia as soon as possible. You know we can't do anything to Dan until we find her. My strong Sunshine is suffering so much because of him. I can't stand to see her like this, Mike. Please, do something," Andrew ordered him, his voice trembling because he was feeling powerless.

"Boss, we'll find her soon. Please stay strong. If you break down like this, who will be there for Chloe?" Mike tried to console him.

"You're right, Mike. I have to be strong for Chloe. She's going through so much," Andrew said after taking a deep breath.

"Andrew," Chloe called out from behind. He immediately turned around to face her. Dan was unconscious, so she had taken the opportunity to slip out of the room.

"I'll call you later, Mike," he said before ending the call. He walked over to her, and they gazed at each other intensely, their eyes filled with immense pain.

He gently held her arms and apologized, "I'm sorry, Sunshine. You're suffering so much, and I'm not doing enough." His eyes trailed over the bite marks on her neck and her bruised face, filled with guilt and sorrow.

She clasped his face in her hands. "Andrew, it's not your fault. We're both helpless. If I'm suffering, you're suffering even more by having to watch me go through this. I'm sure everything will be fine in the end. You're going to find Zia, and this will all be over. I'm enduring all the pain with the hope that one day, everything will be okay, and we'll be happy again." Despite all she had been through, she remained strong, like a pillar of strength.

"This will be over very soon, and you won't have to bear any more of this," he assured her as he pulled her into his arms, holding her close as though he could shield her from the world. She felt incredible in his embrace, and a small, contented smile spread across her face. His arms were her safest place. She felt her strength returning now that Andrew was by her side.

"I love you so much, Sunshine, and it hurts so much to see you in pain." He pulled her even closer as if he could merge her into himself.

"It will be over soon, Andrew, I'm sure. I have full faith in you that you will make everything right." She spoke with full confidence as they pulled apart slightly.

"Yes, everything will be fine," he reassured her, placing a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"You know, when you asked me to leave, I thought you didn't trust me. By the way, how did you figure out all of this?" she asked with curiosity in her voice.

"I had my doubts from the moment I saw you coming out of his room, and then there was the bloodstain on the floor. You mentioned his name, and then there was that false alarm when Dan showed up in your room before you could tell me about him. After that, I pieced everything together. I only asked you to leave to protect your aunt because Dan is powerful and could easily harm her. I promise you, Chloe, I will make him pay for every tear you've shed and every wound you've suffered. I'll make him regret this until his last breath." He vowed to her and kissed her forehead again. She closed her eyes, smiling blissfully.

"I love you, Andrew. I'm so relieved that you're with me through this. Now that we're together, I'm confident that everything will be okay very soon," she uttered with certainty, entwining her hands with his, smiling contentedly.

He lovingly caressed her hair with one hand while his other hand rested gently around her neck. Leaning in, he kissed her lips softly, pouring all of his love into that kiss. With this kiss, he seemed to take away her pain. The kiss felt magical, and she found herself lost in the moment, her pain forgotten. Amid their suffering, she never imagined that someone could make her feel this good. It wasn't just a kiss—it was as if he was kissing away her pain, bringing peace to her soul.

In that moment, she knew that love was truly magical, capable of healing even the deepest wounds.

When the kiss broke, he rested his forehead against hers. They both breathed heavily, their gazes locked on each other. He moved slightly away, and they continued to stare into each other's eyes intensely. She was utterly lost in him and this magical moment. Being together was all she needed.
