"Yeonjun ssi!!!" Jia jumps around in excitement as he smiles.

"I cannot believe it! I cleared the exams with flying colours!" She says with glee.

"It's because you worked hard Ms Jia" he says calmly.

"Tsk tsk, I have never gotten such a great result before,all credit definitely goes to you! For tutoring me!!" She winks as he turns his face away and smiles cutely.

"Okay! We need to celebrate the end of mid-terms! Let's go out!" She announces,surprising him.

"Where Ms Jia?"

"Umm...shopping!"She says cheerfully,but Yeonjun is a little wary.

"I don't think it's safe miss... your father probably won't give you permission..."he says.

"Aah..let me ask him myself!" She quickly dials her father's number.

"Dad! I got really good results on the mid terms!"

"Yes,I knew it my daughter could do it!"

"Dad...my I go out for shopping today...it's been a long time..."

"Alone? Sweetie...it might be dangerous..."

"But I have Yeon- I mean Mr Choi now right! He will be with me!" Her father ponders for a while.

"Okay then,go ahead!"

"Thank you papa! Love you!"

She looks victoriously at Yeonjun.

"Let's goooo!!!" She cheers.

They get home from college to change for their day out.

Jia dons a simple but cute jumpsuit.

She finds Yeonjun waiting for her casually.

"Dayumn...you look so boyfriend right now..."shy mutters before going closer.

"Let's go..?" She nods.

They get on his bike,and the awkwardness of holding onto his waist still has not disappeared.

"Yeah...a boyfriend who will never be my boyfriend..."she sighs in thought.

They reach the mall. It's her first time visiting after  a long time.

"Here Ms Jia,put this mask on-" he says giving her one as he puts on his own.

Now as no one can recognise them,she drags him along into all stores.

She forces him to try on a few outfits too.

"Ms..I really don't need any new clothes..."he tried to insist but she wouldn't listen.

"No,think if it as a gift from me. Because you tutored ne,I got such good results...please accept it okay..."she asks with puppy eyes as he smiles.

He nods slowly as he goes into the trial room as she waits outside.

He comes out and takes her breath away.

He looked ethereal~

A salesgirl comes by and stares at him.

"Aww...your boyfriend is so handsome!" She says a bit too loudly into Jia's ears as Yeonjun too listens.

Both of them blush.

"Aah...he is not my boyfriend...he..."she tries to explain.

"Then he will be soon!" The sales girl winks as she leaves.

Both Yeonjun and Jia are left behind as they look at each other awkwardly.

"I will use the restroom and be back..."she quickly runs away.

She enters the restroom and slams the door behind her.

"Aah...ottokhe...why do I feel so flustered!" She clasps her pink cheeks.

"No no,get yourself together Jia!"she counsels herself.

She takes a deep breath as she opens the door to go out.

But as soon as she opens the door,someone puts a handkerchief around her mouth,as she smells something sweet. Her hands are tied together and even though she tries to resist,she fails.

"Yeonjun..."is the last thing she murmurs before everything turns dark.

Jia wakes up to find her arms and legs tied and mouth gagged.

She looked around,and found herself to be in a place which looked like a construction site. It was dark and she was scared.

She began struggling to break out of the ropes,but failed. However her movement suddenly caught attention.

A new figure stepped into light.

"Aah...look who is awake..." A man who seemed to be in his forties said. He was a creepy looking man.

He came close to her and touched her chin as she tried to dodge his fingers.

"Aah beautiful...that duct tape must hurt,let me take it off..."he peels it off her face harshly as she winces in pain.

"Who are you? Why are you doing this?!" She screams at him.

He smiles evilly. More figures step in-more creepy looking man who were eyeing her

"Well...I will be honest okay? We have received orders to kill you." She gasps. Her heart was filled with fright.

"No! " She cries in shock,as the others laugh looking at her.

"True...what a waste...such a pretty girl..."he says into her ears. She is absolutely disgusted and wants to move away from him but she couldn't.

"You cannot do anything to me! Yeonjun will come save me!" She shrieks as all of them cackle.

"Haha,who? Your bodyguard? We already took care of him-" he smirks.

Jia's heart stops, does that mean? No,it cannot happen.

"No one's coming to save you baby girl...you only have me now...how about you co operate..."his finger traces her face as she cries and tries to dodge him.

"If you do as I say...things will be more easier...we cannot let such a beauty go waste...can we boys?" He says as the rest of the gang smirk as the wall towards her.

"No! Yeonjun!!!!!" She shrieks.

What was going to happen to her.

She shut her eyes tight,anticipating those ugly fingers touching her,but they never came. Instead a voice was heard,which lift her spirits.

"Don't you dare lay a finger on her,you bastards!"

"Yeonjun ssi!" Yes it was him. He came to save her.

The gang and their leader were shocked.

"Yeah,thought you got rid of me right  old man? Guess what? I sent your men to a place they will never return from." He says coolly as he walks in with an iron rod in his hand.

"And now...where should I send all of you?"he says coolly.

He looked at Jia and sighed in relief to see she was unhurt.

"No one will get to Jia,she has Yeonjun!" He yells.

Jia breaks into a smile.

"Well,let's see then Mr Bodyguard...I will personally ensure to get rid of you this time." The leader says and with that everyone all at once starts attacking Yeonjun.

Jia gasps,but Yeonjun manages to fight back every one of them.  The way he fought and hit them skillfully at the right places,ensured that they never got up again-Jia watched in awe.

But she shrieked suddenly.

"Yeonjun ssi-behind you!" But it was too late the leader hit a glass rod on his arm as Yeonjun collapsed suddenly.

The leader laughed wickledly as Yeonjun lay on the ground.

"Noo...Yeonjun ssi..." Jia cried.

"Yeah...all done baby...now let me come to you to teach you a lesson." The leader took steps towards her as looks at him with tears in her eyes.

But suddenly a blow lands on his head. He falls down and Yeonjun is there standing behind him.

"Jia...are you okay?" He runs to her and takes her delicate face into his hands.

She nods as tears escape her cheeks.

Sirens are heard and soon police arrive. Yeonjun had informed them that they were about to harm the Mafia Chief's daughter and the police tell him they will ensure that they never get out of prison again.

Yeonjun quickly unties the ropes binding Jia. She tries to stand up but falls to the ground.

"Jia...you okay?" He crouches down to her,with concern all over his face.

"Yeah...I am just shocked...my legs feel weak..." She murmurs.

He nods and quickly swoops her into his arms,taking her by surprise.

"Don't worry about anything... I am her now..." He says and he leads them out of the building.

She cannot take her eyes off him throughout the way back home.

They get back home and he places her on her bed.

"You must be shocked...you need to rest." He tells her.

But before he pulls away,she grabs his shirt.

"Wait,your arm..." She noticed blood showing through his white t-shirt.

"Aah... don't worry about that...nothing big..." He tries dismissing it.

"Show me now!" She demands seriously. She gets up and rolls his sleeve,and gasps to find a deep cut with glass.

"Don't worry I am used to this..." He tries to tell her but she pushed him into the bed, asking him to be seated,as she runs away to fetch the medical kit.

She sits down beside him as she starts removing the glass.

"This might hurt a little..." She tells him. He nods.

He winces in pain as she removed the glass carefully.

"Aah...it's over...it's out..." She sooths him.

She starts cleaning his wound as he watched her.

She was still a crying mess and was blabbering various things.

"Look how hurt you got because of me...I should have never gone out today..." She cried. He just watched her without a word.

She bandaged his arm up.

"I should have listened to you...what if something happened today..." He takes her face into his free hand,turning it towards his.

She was startled at his sudden action and noticed how close their faces were,merely inches apart,she could feel his warm breath on her lips.

"Nothing happened...and nothing will ever happen to you...as long as I am here Jia...which I will be...forever..."he whispers looking into her eyes.

He leaned in closer,with his hand behind her neck gently pulling her in,as Jia closed her eyes and then felt his soft lips on hers.

His kiss was tender but passionate. It took her a few seconds to take the moment in,but she slowly kissed him back.

She placed her hands behind his neck as he pulled her closer.

They were full of passion for each other.

They opened their eyes as the slowly parted the kiss and rested their foreheads on each other as the breathed out gently..

This day changed everything-they realised their newfound feelings for each other.
