Part 22

Manik : fine ... Stop near a restaurant ....he said and Robert smiled in happiness....

He stopped the car and took umbrella and moved out and then opened the door for manik and put the umbrella on his head not even letting him wet in rain.....

They both moved inside a restaurant .....  Robert ordered indian breakfast and both of them had it in complete silence .....

After breakfast Robert bought lunch packed for both of them and again resumed the journey .....

Manik is just starring at the empty roads remembering his journey with nandu .... And also how she used to play like avoid in rains .....

Robert : boss we will reach nandini mam house in three hours ....

Manik : how do u know it's her house ??? She has no one ....

Robert : she has a bungalow boss ....

Manik : what ??? He asked in shock....

Robert : yes boss ...here is the pic ... saying he gave his phone to manik ...

Manik : r u sure she is my nandu only .....

Robert : that bungalow is on her name boss .... from the year she is born .....

Manik : r u sure .....bcoz she is orphan .....she never told about any bungalow she owns. ...she always struggled to earn and live.....

Robert : 100% sure boss ....if I take u to the wrong place you can shoot me ....

Manik : shut up and drive ....

Robert : don't worry boss we will bring mam with us ...

Manik nodes in yes ....bcoz he is more determined to get his girl back to him.....

They both reached a bungalow it's beautiful with a big garden ......

Manik got down from the car , after many days he felt an urge to see himself in mirror....

He set his hair , he is wearing a simple
Shirt and shorts  and slippers
....bcoz he didn't even change his night dress ........ He asked Robert to stay out and he moved inside alone ....

He saw there is a big garden on the  front , house looked huge .....

He is just looking around he heard a voice ..... He moved in the direction of thd voice bcoz he can recognise that voice even in deep sleep ....

He saw nandu standing under a tree , he is about to move to her but he got hit by a stone on his leg ....  That is when he noticed there are many kids sitting in the garden ......

He just stood there watching nandu ....she is just busy teaching all those kids ....she didn't even notice manik ....

Manik is just observing nandu she is not even smiling ......but teaching the kids by writting on the black board ......

Some bell rang and all the kids stood up and bid bye to nandu ..... And ran inside the house .....that is when nandu saw manik standing there ......

Manik moved to her but she started to run inside the house ....manik got hold of her and pulled her behind a tree ....

Nandu : leave me.....

Manik : no ....

Nandu : why are you here???

Manik : you don't know y I'm here !??? Than listen ....I'm here to take u with me .....

Nandu : I'm not coming with you ....not now and never. ....

Manik : you are mine ....you are coming with me. ....saying he placed his lips on her  and kissed her ....

Nandu pushed him back but he hugged her tight....nandu hit him on his back....

Manik : you are mine ...he says calming his breaths....

Nandu : I hate you ....she says with tears in her eyes and stopped hitting him.......

Manik broke the hug and  wiped  her tears .... and kissed her forehead lovingly ....." but I love you and will love you forever "

Nandu : go from here ....

Manik : no ....not until u come with me ...

Nandu : I will never come with you ....

Manik : than I won't go anywhere .....

Nandu : koi dekh lega Plzz chalejaoo yaha se ...

Manik : I don't care of others ....

Nandu : please ....

Manik : you just ran away from me ... What do you think of yourself bolo ??? U came in my life .... Became my life and now u just threw me away like trash .... We are in a relationship so anything should happen with our consent ....how did u decide the break up .....I am never gonna break up with you .... I will make u mine forever ....just wait and watch....

He says but  moves little back bcoz nandu just pushed him away on seeing someone behind .....

Manik turned to  see what made nandu push him ... He saw two persons coming inside ....one looked like manik's father's age and the other looked old ...

Old man : kon ho tum...

Manik is about to say something but the old man  spoke   again .....

Old man : tum vo new watch man to nahi ...manik eyes widen in shock listening to him....

" Watchman kyu " the person with old man asked ...

Old man : arey Raghav ....that previous watchman misbehaved with nandu ...so I just pushed him out .....

Manik glared nandu for not telling him and nandu hide her face with her hand bcoz she knows manik will be on  angry mode ......

Raghav : pehle kyu nahi bola apne ....we should give police complaint....

Old man : nandu ne mana kiya....

Raghav : nandu beta tum theek ho....

Nandu :yes sir I'm fine ....

Old man : so tum watchman ho, he asks looking at manik .......nandu nodes in no asking him not to accept ....

Manik : yes sir ....nandu just banged her forehead with her hand........

Old man : acha pehle kaha kaam kiya ....

Manik : Malhotra industries.... he says thinking for a moment....

Old man : bahut hi acha company hae ...kaam kyu chod diya ....

Manik : I'm getting married my soon to be  wife belongs to mangalore so I came here .....

Nandu gives him an accusing look.....

Old man : we can't give more salary ....we can give some 5000 per month ....

Manik : I don't need more salary sir.  ...give me food and place to live  it's enough. ...

Old man: what about your wife ??

Manik : she is still my girl friend sir ....not married....

Old man : u can live in out house and eat in this orphanage  , what about your family????

manik now got to know that this house is an orphanage. ......

Manik : I live alone sir, my family lives in Mumbai. ...

Old man:  from when will u join ...???

Manik : I will go get my luggage sir .....and join from today .....

Old man : thek hae beta jaldi ajaoo...

Manik : ok sir ......

Nandu: dadu , y so much hurry ....

Dadu  : tumne suna nahi what did that watchman say before leaving. ..he said he will come back  to take revenge on us ...

Nandu : but dadu ....

Dadu : chup hojaoo nanhi....I can't take chance with your safety ....this boy looks good ....he is even strong enough to be our security.....

Manik : sir I will go get my luggage and come ....

Raghav : where is your luggage ???

Manik : in my friends house ....

Raghav : bring some Identity card and letter from previous office , when u come back to join.......

Manik : ok sir ....

Dadu : jaldi ajaoo beta ....he says with a smile ....

Manik just glares nandu and leaves from there....

Dadu ,Raghav also left inside the house talking about the previous watchman.....
.but nandu followed manik .....

Nandu saw manik standing in front of his car little far from the orphanage and Robert taking his luggage out from trunk .......

Nandu : aur kitna jhoot bologi.....

Manik: who the hell is that watchman ??? He asked in full rage....

Nandu : I can handle my life .. just leave ....

Manik : u come with me I will leave. ...

Nandu : no ..

Manik : than I'm happy to be watchman to keep u safe. ...

Nandu: manik plzz go...

Manik : no....

Saying he called his mangalore office and asked the manager to send an ex employee certificate and identify proof of manik ...

Nandu : stop doing all this ....there is no use ....I hate u ...

Manik : but I love you ....suna tumne ....

Nandu: I will ask dadu to throw u  out....

Manik : than I will tell him we love each other and I came for you ....

Nandu : don't u dare say such things to him...

Manik : Robert , get my proofs  and ID card from office .... and go stay in guest house....

Robert: boss even I will stay with you ....as your brother .... I don't want to go to guest house ......

Manik : okay ...he says with a smile bcoz he knows Robert will not leave him alone ......

Nandu : leave both of you ...or else I will complain to police ...

Manik : go ahead. ...u didn't complain on that bloody idiot who tried to take advantage of you. ...but ready to complain on me....go complain I'm not scared .....

Nandu : I forgot tum mafia hona why will u be scared of police..... Jo karna hae karo ....but I hate you .....saying she started to go inside ....

Manik:  but I love you soon to be Mrs manik Malhotra..... He says loudly.....

Nandu left inside the orphanage cursing manik ....after she left....

Robert : what happened boss ...???

Manik : I want the previous watchman of this orphanage in our den ...how dare he touch my nandu ???

Robert : he will be in our den in an hour boss ....saying Robert called someone and asked them to bring the old watchman of this orphanage.....

In the meanwhile a guy comes from mangalore office and gives manik the required proofs ....

Manik takes his bag and asked Robert to park the car beside the orphanage .... both of them left to orphanage.....

They moved inside ....to see many children playing in the big hall.....

" Kon ho aplog " they heard a voice ....both of them saw a cute girl standing there .....

Manik : new watchman....

Girl: ok....I'm seema ....dadu is in that room....come with me ....

Manik, Robert moved to the room to see dadu sitting on a chair ....there is a big picture of a couple with a garland  in that room.....

Dadu : agayi tum beta ....ye kon hae ....

Manik : mera bhai hae ....ye mera saath hi rahega ....

Dadu : kyu nahi beta ...tum dono out house main raho.... U can eat here ....but should get vegetables, grocery  from market...

Robert ; I will go get them sir , I even know shops which give u discounts..

Dadu : arey vaah bahut hi achi baat hae ....

Dadu and Robert are so engrossed in discussion ....manik is just observing everything .....

After sometime manik,dadu , Robert left to dinning hall.... There are many kids who are sitting on the floor ....

Seema and nandu along with two more helpers are serving them food ....

Dadu asked manik , Robert to sit with him...Seema served them lunch ... After sometime nandu asked seema and the helpers to have lunch .... She served everyone .....

But nandu didn't have lunch ...this is seen by manik .... He signalled her to eat but she didn't eat ....

Manik, Robert left to our house to see it's a small room with single bed and an attached washroom....

Robert : boss should I arrange everything here ....

Manik: no let's adjust .... but get a bed for u....

Robert : no problem boss I will sleep on the mattress......

Manik is ready to clean the room but Robert didn't let him do anything but he cleaned everything....

Manik sat on the bed,  from the window he can see nandu .....

Manik in mind.... I came to take you away from here but I should kill that watchman for touching you and I should make u say I love you manik , bcoz cabir will kill me if I force you....so for you I became a glorified watchman .... before I used to just follow you but now u made me a watchman .....I'm ready to be anything for you ..... I hope u listen to me  once .... Just once .....

He thought to himself .... But came out of his trance ....listening to Robert ....
