Part 17

Nandu nodes in yes,  and packs her bags first and even gets ready , even manik got ready , all three had breakfast and manan left for flight , Chandu just crashed on her bed to catch sleep .....

Manan reached the airport , they waited for the announcement of flight .....

After sometime they boarded the flight , manik booked business class tickets so they sat seperately .....

Manik saw nandu sitting quite.....

Manik : what's wrong ???

Nandu just saw his face ....

Manik : bolo na ....

Nandu : I'm scared ....

Manik : why ???

Nandu : it's my first flight journey....

Manik : relax , I'm here with you....saying he held her hand in his .....

Nandu is so scared when the flight took up , she literally crushed manik hand , he smiled looking at her , when the flight is in the air , everyone took of their seat belts but nandu is still holding manik hand in a tight grip ....

Manik than slowly removed her seat belt and pulled her in his arms ......she hugged him tight ....

He started saying sweet things and kissing her forehead , nandu didn't realise how close they are sitting until air hostess disturbed them....

She immediately backed off to her seat avoiding manik , manik simply took a magazine and started reading it, bcoz he didn't want her to feel embarrassed, nandu is feeling bored so she slowly dozed of on manik shoulder unknowingly ...

As the flight is about to land , manik didn't wake her up ,instead slowly put her seat belt and locked it without disturbing her and held her close to him by closing her both ears .....

Manik : nandu utho , we need to get down ....

Nandu opened her eyes and saw everyone standing to go out .....

Nandu : when did it land ???

Manik : just now ....

Nandu smiled listening to him and noticed her seat belt is still fixed , she thought manik didn't want her to panic so he didn't wake her up .... and both of them got down ....

Manik's driver is waiting with his car outside .....

They both sat in it and reached the studio directly .....

Nandu ; are we gonna work today ....

Manik : for now we will rest , than go for the meeting in the evening ....

Nandu : we will rest in office ...

Manik nodes in yes ....

They both get down and a gaurd took away the luggage , nandu is just following manik holding her small bag .... everyone are standing and wishing manik with a smile ,which proves how much they respect him , even he wished everyone back with a smile and nod .......

They reached a cabin , manik called the manager of this branch and had a small talk to him and then moved to his private lift....

Manik got in lift followed by nandu , they reached a pent house ....

Manik : I hate hotels , so I stay here in my pent house , r u okay staying alone with me , if not I will book a hotel for your stay ....he asked opening the door .....nandu saw their luggages outside the door ,manik carried them inside without giving her a chance to carry ......

Nandu : I have no problem staying with you , infact I feel safe around you.....she said halting him in the middle of the hall .....he smiled in happiness and turned around ....

Manik : there are five more bed rooms leaving mine , you can choose one , he said pointing his bed room....

Nandu ; what if I choose that room only ??? She asks with a teasing smile ....

Manik in mind .... It's all yours baby , I want to just carry you there and sleep cuddling to you but not so early I don't want to scare u ....thinking all this he just zoned out ....nandu called him by shaking his shoulders ....

Nandu : you don't have to give your room , stop thinking so much ....

Manik : I don't have a problem if u take my room , but I hope u don't like sharing with me bcoz I can't let go of my room .....he says with a smirk .....

Nandu ; no thanks , I will take the room beside yours ....saying she just took her bag .....

Manik : fresh up and come fast , let's have lunch , I'm damn  hungry.....

Nandu : okay .....saying she moved inside the room ....

Manik followed her and moved to his room .....he first took his clothes and moved to fresh up .....and came out with a towel on his waist and sat on his bed rubbing his wet hairs with the towel around his neck ......his phone ran disturbing him ....he picked the call it's from arjun he spoke for sometime and cut the call ......

He got dressed up and ordered food for both of them ....

Nandu moved to her room and sat on the bed looking at everything around, she saw the view from the window to see just roads with full traffic .....

She took her clothes and moved to fresh up , she came out to see her phone blinking ...she saw her phone to find messages from Chandu and navya ....

She got busy chatting with both the girls , she forgot manik will be waiting for her outside for lunch ,she even got call from cabir , she is just talking to him and forgot that manik is waiting for her to have lunch ....

Manik recieved the food parcels and arranged them on the table , and sat there waiting for Nandu , it's been long she didn't come out ....

Manik : what is taking her so long to fresh up ??? I hope she didn't sleep ....

Talking to himself he reached the door and thought of knocking it , but he heard her laughing loudly and the door is slightly open , he saw nandu talking to cabir on video call ....

Manik : great , main vaha lunch karne keliye tere wait kar rahi hu and tum is pagal insan se baat kar rahi ho ....

Nandu just stood up on hearing his loud voice.....

Nandu : I'm just talking to cabir bhai ....

Manik : I asked you  to come fast to have lunch .....

Nandu : sorry ....vo Bhai ka call tha ....

Manik : ye pagal insan mar nahi jayega abhi tum baat nahi karogi toh ,but nahi u just forgot that I'm waiting for you , enjoy talking .....badh main jaoo dono.....

Saying he just left the room ...

Nandu to cabir on call ....

Nandu : bhai lagta hae bahut gusse main hae ,main sachme bulgayi , it's my mistake ....

Cabir : not your mistake , he gets angry when he is hungry , don't worry khane khate hi gussa shaant hojayegi ....

Nandu : mujhe dar lagraha hae ....

Cabir : he can never hurt you , go he doesn't like to eat alone ....

Nandu : okay ...

They both bid bye and nandu left the room.....

Nandu moved out and saw manik sitting on the head chair of dinning table there is nothing on his plate , she slowly sat on the chair beside him ....

Manik opened the boxes and started serving nandu first and than filled his plate .....

Nandu took the fork and placed a bite of noodles in her mouth , that is when manik started eating and sighed in relief .....

They both had noodles in complete silence only sounds of fork is heard , he gave her two brownies as desert , which made nandu smile bcoz it's her favourite desert ....even manik got smile on his face looking at her but didn't say anything ......

He took his brownies and moved to the couch and started a movie on tv , nandu also followed him and sat beside him maintaining a small gap......

They both are silently watching tv , eating brownies , manik's phone started to ring showing cabir's number but manik didn't lift the call infact he cut the call nearly 5 times .....

Cabir than called nandu , manik saw her phone and glared her but nandu immediately lifted the call ....

Manik  in mind  ...no matter what happens cabir is always first in her priority list, here I'm angry with her for forgetting me bcoz of talking to that idiot , but instead of manofying me she is again talking to him....but still I'm happy seeing these two important people of my life being so happy together , they are making me jealous .....he is busy starring nandu thinking all this ....

Nandu gave her phone to him....

Nandu : bhai is sounding serious ,he wants to talk to you ....

Manik took the phone immediately bcoz cabir and serious are like antonyms but when he is serious the situation must be worse manik knew that ....

He immediately left to the balcony to talk to him, nandu couldn't hear him but from manik's expression she got to know something is wrong and stood on her place to let him complete his call in peace ....

After the call manik came back and gave  phone to nandu ...

Nandu : is everything okay ...

Manik saw her tensed face and smiled ....

Manik : everything is okay , just business issues .....

Nandu ; okay ...

Manik : I will be in study room , watch tv or catch some sleep , if not you can go to the pool side from the balcony ....

Nandu nodded in yes , manik is about to go ....

Nandu : manik , she called him making him turn back ....

She gave him his brownies which he didn't eat bcoz of cabir's call ....

He just kissed on nandu forehead and left taking his brownies , Nandu just stood on her place just blushing looking at his back ..... she felt his forehead kiss so cute , bcoz they shared an accidental kiss and manik's forceful kiss.....

She moved back to the couch with a smile and half laid on it and continued to eat her brownies and watch tv ......

Manik took his team on a video conference in the study room ....bcoz the issue is serious someone killed his team members and stole the weapons ....

This video call continued for nearly an hour , he commanded them to find out the person before he reaches mumbai and did some calls , he didn't check time but it's nearly evening ....so he moved out to check on nandu .....

He came to hall to see tv still running and nandu in deep sleep on the couch , on seeing her sleeping peacefully all his anger just flew away...he moved to her and sat on the floor near her face ....he found a chocolate stain near her lips.....he just felt the urge to clean it with his lips but he didn't want to take an advantage of her sleeping state ....he used his hand and cleaned it....but nandu woke up , she is just starring him , their faces are just inches apart from each other .....

The door bell rang bringing them out of trance , manik immediately stood up....

Manik : get ready fast for the meeting, I will check who came ....

Manik opens the door to see  maid standing there , she is the wife  of watchman ..... Manik welcomed her inside and told her that they are going out for work ....and asked her to prepare dinner ....maid left to the kitchen to check on everything ....

Manik left to his room to get ready , both Manan opened the door of their rooms at the same time ......

They smiled looking at each other bcoz unknowingly both are wearing black coat and white shirt ....

Manik : chale ....he asked her , she just nodded and they both left to their car.....

In car ...

Manik : we  don't have to shoot anything or ask any questions ....we are going there just to meet some ministers and all , I will Introduce u to the team working with us today , stay with them till I call u ....

Nandu : okay ...she says with hesitation....

Manik : u can ask ....

Nandu : if I have no work to do,  y r u taking me....

Manik : bcoz being my secretary u need to know , how we work , experience only comes when u witness the work ....

Nandu nodes in yes understanding his point of view .....
