Nandu smiled listening to her ......
manik is lost in her smile .......this is observed by Chandini.....she cleared her throat to gain manik ki attention.....he saw Chandini face.....

Manik : meet your new room mate .....nandini ....

Nandini is shocked listening to manik ....

Chandini : really ??? She asked with a happy face....

Manik : yes ...she is joining as my personal assistant from today ....

Chandini : thank you so much , you know I am really bored with our old colleagues, u know right my apartment is full of oldies , she is like an oasis in desert.....

Manik : stop scaring her , and yeah she is gonna stay with you , daily both of you will go together and even come together to office ....

Chandini : you know tum itna kadus nahi ho ...kal pakka teri favourite cup cake banake laungi main....

Nandu smiled more listening to her ....

Chandini : hai nandini , but your name means  happiness I will call u that .....is that okay ....

Nandu ; okay .....

Chandini : hayee , your so cute ,saying she pulled nandu ki cheeks .

Manik laughed loudly looking at both of them....

Manik : ok miss moon, go do your work , she will join you in lunch ....

Chandini : ok ok I'm going but plzz I'm the boss vala attitude mat dikhana isko , she is so cute  .....

Saying she ran away....

Manik : so now I will tell u what benifits you will be provided.....

Nandu : I didn't accept the job.....

Manik : you will  accept it after listening to me ....first hear me out atleast....

Nandu : okay ....

Manik : you will be given 12L per annum , bcoz ur work is much more than any of my employee, you will be provided cab to come to office along with the other girl employees, you have stay in company provided quarters , till u leave the job, and lunch , breakfast , coffee, etc it's all comes under employees food which we don't charge......you are an independent girl nandini , you need a home right now as I know you are not comfortable in Malhotra house , bcoz you don't like to depend on others , u need a job as well to earn, I'm just providing you the same which we give every employee , this channel is my dad's idea , which is run by mom after him  and now I take all the desicions , I don't need money , bcoz all my brother's have various companies they do earn for me , so we provide good facilities to all the staff , its mom idea , free food, travel and  accommodation ...... So choice is yours ....I can't force you , if you accept it read this agreement and sign .....

Saying he placed a file in front of nandu .....

Nandu: but ...

Manik : take this agreement home , take your time and sign it and come back tomorrow morning sharp 9'O clock if u accept the job.....

Nandu just nodded in yes and took the agreement and stood to go.....

Manik : before taking any desicion think wisely .....

Nandu left his room without saying anything , but came back again and knocked on the door ....

Manik : yes , come in ....

He saw nandu there ,

Manik ; kuch chahiye .....

Nandu : can I spend a day in office to see how it works , than I can tell my desicion by evening , bcoz I don't even know what work I had to do ....

Manik smiled listening to her ....

Manik : I have never given such options to any of my employees but as you are my friend I can give u this chance , that's your desk he says showing the desk on the other side of his large cabin, u can work from there....

Nandu nodes in yes with a smile bcoz manik called her friend  ....

Nandu : can I start now ??

Manik : you can start now , if you don't like the work by the end of the day , you can quit.....

Nandu : thank you sir ....

Manik : go sit there for now , I will tell u what to do ....

Nandu left to the desk  and sat there , she saw a closed laptop placed on the desk , some files , many CD's, a television in front of her desk , a set of speakers beside her , a printer , some different types of photo frames...

Manik is just looking at her in trance , he forgot to do his work , finally he came out of nandu land by the ring of his phone .....

He lifted the call and spoke to someone , he saw nandu just sitting there tapping her fingers .....

Manik : miss Murthy  , he calls her....

Nandu : yes sir ...

Manik : you can call me manik , no need to be formal in this room .....

Nandu : okay ....

Manik : come here , saying he pointed the chair in front of him....

Nandu ; okay ....saying she moved from her place and sat on the chair in front of him....

Manik : you need to know the timings and programs telecasted on our channel, bcoz u need to have an idea of where u work and what happens there....

Nandu : I already know them....

Manik : kaise ??

Nandu : without any info I can't attend an interview I got to know many things of this company , saying she starts says him when it's established and what programs they do, he is highly impressed listening to her ....

Manik : that's y I say , you are perfect for any job , now for starters , I will keep u with me in a project I'm handling, we need to gather information regarding ngo and social service communities , their struggle and all ,we will telecast this and gather sponsors for struggling communities....

Nandu : what do we have to do ???

Manik : we need to visit them and collect information regarding their food , education, health of the people who stay there , than if it's good we will telecast it but for sure we are gonna help them by gaining sponsors .....

Nandu : but I think , it's not good to telecast on our channel , it's about many lives who live there with many dreams, by doing this we are just giving them sympathy of people .....

Manik just understood her pain....

Manik : okay anything else we can do ....

Nandu : but it won't be benificial for your channel ....

Manik : I don't work for profits , I only provide news which is reasonable and right , mujhe trp nahi chahiye .....

Nandu : we can organise fund rising events  and if wanted telecast the event , as u don't need profits you can donate the amount earned by it to the orphanage without getting them into lime light , and also these events attract people so they can watch it .....

Manik : perfect idea , u are gonna deal this , I'm gonna arrange a team , listen to their ideas , give suggestions and submit me by evening .....

Nandu : but , y will they listen to me ....

Manik : bcoz u are equal to a junior boss now being my secretary , come let me introduce you to all ....

Saying he moved out of his cabin, nandu followed him....

Manik stood in the centre,

Manik : good morning guys ,he shouted loudly gaining everyone attention ....

Good morning sirrrr ....is heard and everyone stood up .....

Manik : take your seats , so she is Nandini Murthy , my new secretary , she is gonna work with all of us , as u all know how much work my secretary has , support her and make sure u respect her , am I clear ....

Staff : yes sir .....

Manik : get back to your works , chari sir  and team in conference room ...

Manik moves to conference room and nandu followed him passing a smile to everyone .....

Manik sat on his chair , nandini is standing beside him.....

Manik : you can sit .....

Nandu : but ???

Manik : sit .....saying he pointed the chair to his left side ......

Nandu sat there silently looking at everything .....

The door opened after getting permission from manik,  a team  of five members walked in ....

Manik : Miss Murthy meet Chari sir , he is with us from the time this channel started ....

Chari : welcome to our channel miss Murthy ...

Nandu : thank  you sir ...

Chari : this is our team , Ravi ,Rajesh , Surbhi and Sarah .....

Nandu said hai to everyone .....they all got settled in chairs , manik explained them nandu idea of events ....

Chari : that's a beautiful idea miss Murthy , so now tell us what event can we do .....

Nandu : for suppose it's an home for blind  or we can organise a singing show , they can hear it and enjoy at the same time we can sell tickets and make money as well as telecast this .... We don't need a popular singer , upcoming bands are also enough, like this we can even provide an opportunity to new talent.    

Chari : she is too good manik , I will go ahead with the idea ....

Manik : I knew it sir , so let's get started ,take her ideas if needed she will just supervise as u guys know ....

Team : yes sir ....

Like this they discussed about different organisations and even scheduled the list of programs to be done ......

After that everyone dispersed for lunch, manik moved to his cabin asking nandu to join the lunch in canteen with other employees......

Nandu moved to the canteen to see Chandini sitting there with sarah and Surbhi .....

Chandini : hey happines , come join us ....she called nandu waving a hand at her .....

Nandu moved to the table and sat with the girls, they had lunch with loads of talks....

Chandini : where do u live at present ???

Nandu ; In my friend's house .....

Chandini : sorry today I have night shoot , I can't show u home ....

Nandu : do we have night shift here ....

Chandini : we do have , but don't worry you are safe here bcoz there won't be any perverts to misbehave bcoz we are gaurded  by lady security team who are fully trained in marshal arts , even the cab drivers are ladies who drop us home after work, just as an action of anti rape manik took many precautions and safety measures for all the girls working in this office , no boy can even flirt with girls , love is never a problem here but trying to misbehave or hurt any girl is not allowed, that's the reason there are girls who work many years without any fear , you will surely love to work here , bcoz it feels so safe , he provides everything like we are his family , it's rare to find such a boss , but for sure a monster if u do mistake .....

She says and laughs loudly ......

Nandu smiled listening to her ....they all dispersed to go back to work , nandu is walking towards manik cabin , which is soon hers also ....

Nandu in mind .....he is really different , not money minded , can I work here , my home problem,money problem are  getting solved , but what about my MBA , it's a full time job and I can't join college , not even on weekends bcoz sometimes on Sunday also I need to work here , he is already helping me a lot , I can't ask him half day work, what to do ???

Thinking all this she moved to manik cabin and knocked on the door , after permission she moved in to see manik still working ,she didn't find him having lunch .....

Nandu : sir , what to do next ???

Manik : you can call me manik ???

Nandu ; but you call me miss Murthy ???

Manik : ok fine nandu, you can take a half day  leave for today , go home and spend time with everyone even cabir bhai is home , come back tommorow to join us and yeah tommorow u can shift with moon to the apartment, it's just two streets away from office ....

Nandu nodes in yes and takes her bag to go ,but stops and reads the agreement and signs it ....

Nandu : I'm ready to work here , saying she gave the  agreement to manik , he smiled broadly listening to her ....

Manik : you can collect your copy tomorrow.....

Nandu : thank you sir .....

Saying she left the cabin and moved out to go home .....

Precap : an arrogant boss and crazy secretary.....

Will manik and nandu fight to work ???
