When Christmas came around the corner you wanted to decorate the house, but you knew he was too busy to do it with you and the guard's wouldn't help you since they were mainly there to protect you then do anything

So as the days went past in the bland house you sighed slightly so you made a plan which you were initiating this morning as you got up before Matteo and got dressed in a cute beige jumper that went to your knees with black jeans and some brown boots

Before you put your boots on your quietly snuck around the bed and grabbed his wallet that was resting on the bedside table and took out his card and about $100 dollars cash just in case before walking downstairs telling each guard I pass to be quiet but got a few guard's to follow you to the living room to where you put on your boots

When you were ready you headed to the garage and told the guard's to take you to Fenwick's and they nodded as they drove you to the nearest store to them and went to get parked you eagerly got out and headed insides after getting a trolley

You had spent the hour getting whatever you needed to decorate the house you knew there was roughly $400 maybe more you weren't counting but you knew that he was going to buy it all for you anyway with or without him being present

A few guards were telling you to stop putting so much in a such, but you ignored them with the determination to finally decorate the house since he made no effort to do so

When you were done with the Christmas shopping you paid for it and put them in the car before going back in to do a bit of Christmas shopping food wise since you couldn't buy him gifts without using his card

While the guard's out them in the car you went to a different shop for his gift before joining them and went back home the guard's told you that Matteo left to do some business and would be back when he can, and you nodded in response with a small hum

When you got back you were glad he wasn't home, so you quickly ran upstairs and hid them in your shared room before going back down and started to decorate the house while setting the radio to play Christmas music

After a few hours you were done and admired your handy work but mentally cursed as you missed the most important thing a tree so as you turned around you bumped into a hard chest who held you close

"so, this is what you left me for this morning with my card to buy Christmas ornaments and decorations" he chuckled as he looked down at you which you smiled shyly

"yes because you weren't making any effort to decorate the house and I made an effort to do so I took the initiative" you replied with a shy chuckle

"so, are you done?" he asked as he looked around the room in slight awe at home much you got done in the time you left and before he came back from work

"no, I missed the key thing" you spoke out as you turned to eye the room while he raised a brow as toy what you missed since it was decked out to the hilt "a tree" you added after a bit with a sigh

"so, you bought baubles and tinsel and everything for the tree, but you forgot the thing you put the stuff on it" he spoke out confused as he watched you move to grab your bag to go out

"yes I am aware of that, but I was going to get a fresh one before I came back but I forgot because I wanted to do this before you came in" you replied as you watched him from the doorway

"I'll come with this seems like a thing we both can do" he chuckled as they went to the door to go out to the woods where you would get them fresh

When they got there you got out and rubbed your hands together since it was colder there while he remained unfazed as you walked around while he talked to the person who cut them down

After a few moments you found the perfect tree and he chopped it down while you curled it matteo who kept you warm while he moved to put the tree on top of the SUV that you both came in and made sure it was secured before you paid for it since you didn't give him his card back yet

Once we got back home the guard's put the tree up in the middle of the room and you both began to decorate it and you kept taking pictures on your phone of either the both of you or just him to make memories with a small smile
