This story is rated M for mature, meaning I very strongly recommend this story to 21+ only. Yes, not 18+ but 21+ due to the intense subject matter.

This is a dark, toxic book that will be commentary on the romanticization of the mafia in media, but in BTS fanfics in particular. Almost similar to my book A Demon's Sin, this book will start off comedic, but it will develop an increasingly dark tone as the narrative progresses. It is a twist on the "kidnapped by mafia" trope where instead of mafia BTS kidnapping Y/n, Y/n accidentally kidnaps mafia BTS.

In no way, shape, or form will this book glorify any of the topics commonly glorified in this genre as the entire point is to leave commentary on how these topics actually impact people in real life. The whole point is to be anti-mafia and anti-romanticization of said things.

The Y/n in this book is not you, so please do not expect her to be a one-to-one of you. I know many will scoff at this and say "Who thinks Y/n is actually them?"

You'd be surprised.

But that aside, the Y/n here is going to be... well, I won't spoil, but she is going to go through an intense arc that may leave many of you uncomfortable. The characters here are going to be mostly unlikable jerks who are constantly trying to one-up each other for sake of power. Y/n will have an established personality that will change throughout the story. The point of her being a Y/n instead of an OC is to make you more uncomfortable by the changes she goes through/decisions she makes tbvvh lmao.

I have plenty of other books on my profile, even ones including heavy angst, that feature likeable characters and a much lighter tone, like The Cop From Busan, The Gamer's Guide to Romance, Lucid Dreams, and more, so if you are not someone who enjoys reading about really messed up characters, then I encourage you to check out other books instead of this one.

Also, Y/n characters make mistakes and rash decisions. It doesn't inherently make them stupid for making bad decisions, so I would appreciate it if this trend of "Y/n made one bad decision so now she's stupid af" stops. If you can make mistakes and bad decisions, so can book characters. I say that because this Y/n will start off desperate and will make decisions based on that, and then her arc will have her grow and become a much more cunning character, so please do not think chapter 1 Y/n will be chapter 25 Y/n. Characters don't need to be likeable 100% of the time to be good characters. In fact, like I said before, none of the characters here will be particularly likeable except maybe Taehyung and Namjoon in the beginning, but remember they're all mafia. They've all hurt people and done bad things.

If you're someone who enjoys dark thrillers featuring f*cked up characters, then this is probably for you.

As for content warnings, there are:

- Depictions of mental health (depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc.), which includes depictions of sh and suicide

- Heavy profanity

- Extremely crude humor, usage of some slurs/offensive language, sexual jokes

- Mature themes

- Character death

- Violence & gore

- Commentary on greed, power, and the romanticization of the mafia in media

- Manipulation and gaslighting

- A severe case of "What the f*ck is happening" (there will be many scenes where it is unclear what is happening due to the mental state of some characters and their POVs showing said mental state)

- A severe case of the "I can fix him" mentality, or if you're 💅 (like me), a severe case of the "I can fix her" mentality

- Drug and alcohol use

- Sexual references, steamy scenes, and implied (but not graphic) sex

Just to be clear about the sexual references: there may be mentions of SA, but there will be no shown or attempted SA or any characters with backgrounds of SA.

If any sexual scenes come about, they will be loosely described. No private parts will be mentioned. They will likely focus a lot more on the mental states of the characters during those scenes as any sexual content I write has a legit purpose in the plot/character development. Honestly, I've always believed sexual content was better when it had meaning and wasn't just written for sake of being written, so that is what I am doing here.

If there are more tw I need to add, I will add them here and in the specific chapters a potential trigger is.

Like I said, it's an intense story, so please do not read if you are uncomfortable.

Just a small about section so you know what you're getting in to:

This story will be written in third-person limited and in the past tense. The POVs will alternate between chapters and will jump around depending on which character needs the POV. Some BTS members may only get a handful of POVs while others get a bunch, but all of them are important to the story and will have their own roles, personalities, and motivations. Juggling eight main characters is hard, so that is the only reason not all of them will get the same number of POVs, but like I said, they will all be main characters with important roles.

This is an OT7 story, in case that was unclear before.

Many of the BTS members will have different ages than their real life counterparts, so please do not be surprised by that as this is a work of fiction and the aging up/down (but mostly up) was done purposefully for narrative purposes, particularly in the cases of Namjoon and Jin.

Also, some of their personalities will be drastically changed, like Yoongi will not be the stereotypical cold Yoongi character and will instead be more like drunk Yoongi 24/7 (both literally and metaphorically).
