"You coming, Madison?" Ernie called. They were walking to potions together and Madison still hadn't read the letter.

"Just go ahead without me, I'll meet you in class." Madison said. "Are you okay?" Susan asked. "Oh don't worry, I'm absolutely fine. I just have something to quickly check."

I bet she's going to meet him!" Susan giggled.

Madison rolled her eyes. Once they were gone, she opened the letter.

"Daughter,
That plan could work. Stay in the house in which you were placed. I'm thinking back to my time there and the steps I should retrace. The entrance to the chamber is on the second floor. It's in the girls lavatory, pay attention, there's more. There's a snake engraved tap on a sink, just one. And the only way to open it is to speak parseltongue. I'm trusting you child, don't you dare let me down. I'll be expecting a reply from you as soon as it is found."

She closed the letter. She knew she couldn't open the chamber yet, but when she heard the scream she ran in it's direction. She realized someone had beat her to opening the chamber.

She'd write her father as soon as she found out whom.

Madison was talking to the fat fryer when it happened. Through the reflection she first saw the skin. "Run." She said.

She made eye contact, through the fat fryer and became petrified.
