"Dearest Draco Malfoy," Madison began to write, removing her engagement ring and the gaunt family ring from her finger.

"If you're reading this, the plan worked, and I am no longer here. You're the only one I can trust. Enclosed you'll find the gaunt ring. Other than myself, it is the last horcrux. Give it  to Harry and tell him, he'll know what to do. I'm sorry it had to be this way, I hope this letter found you safe. I'm sorry that I kept you in the dark, or if you felt you'd been replaced. I know that i was distant, but you meant the world to. Inside this letter you'll also find my engagement ring. But if I'm dead you and your family can finally be free. If I somehow make it out, you'll never have read this letter. Don't feel bad, it's not you alone I did this for. So many lives were save with the prevention of a continuing war. Please move on, enjoy life, don't let my sacrifice be in vein.

Draco saw the small water stain in the ink in the middle of the letter, Madison had cried writing it. Or maybe it was his own tear now. He grabbed both rings, bringing the one he didn't recognize to Harry.

"It's the last horcrux." Draco said.

"What about Madison?" Harry asked. Draco tossed the other ring at him, Harry caught it and it registered on his face immediately.

"She's dead." Harry mumbled.

He gave the engagement ring back to Draco. The gaunt ring too. "Maybe you should do the honor of destroying this one." Harry said, giving Draco the basilisk fang Ron and Hermione had gone back for.

Draco stabbed the ring, it broke and Harry went off again. Draco returned to the great hall. He noticed no one had cared to mourn her, other than Ernie and Susan, whom she hadn't talked to in a while.
