Chapter 18: Convincing

"Come on, Maddie- you'd be an excellent teacher!" Hermione began as we sat in the common room.

I had my ginger cat Athena, who was somehow pregnant with Crookshanks babies, on my lap. I stroked her back as Harry came back from detention and sat down on his favorite chair by the fire place.

He had gotten himself more detentions from Umbridge, and he was actually being rather stupid if you ask me.

Angrily, he crossed his arms and looked at me accusingly.

"What?" I asked him, curious.

"Umbridge is horrible."

"Sorry for not getting detention."

"Anyway! We were just saying that you and Madison would be excellent teachers." Hermione informed my older twin brother.

"I don't know.... Who would I even teach?" He asked her, reluctantly.

"That was my question too, but she didn't answer it." I shrugged, stroking my cats back.

My brown-haired friend looked at me and rolled her eyes.

"You'd be teaching those who wish to be taught about.... Those who want to learn and fight against V..."

"Voldemort! Just say the freaking name, Mione." I said, rolling my eyes.

"To fight against Voldemort. And you two would be excellent teachers."

"Well," I began, "I'm all for it. You?"

"I guess."
