Chapter 10: Horses

Madison Potter and the Order if the Phoenix

Chapter 10: Horses

Luna Lovegood was a pretty cool person. Hermione, once her and Ron came back from the prefect compartment, met her and I don't think she liked her very much. I don't know why, but whatever.

"So, who is ready for OWL year!?" I mocked cheerfulness.

"No." Ron said.

"LOSER!" I smiled and screamed.

Running out, I ran down to the other side of the train. I saw the familiar sight of two ginger twins and went into their compartment.

"Hello boys. And Lee." I said, as I sat on George's lap.

"Hey Madison." They chorused.

"What's in the box, Lee?" Fred asked, curious.

"Oh, this! It's a giant tarantula. Remember how I lost it in our third year?"

"You what!? I felt something climbing up my legs one night... ARE YOU TELLING ME IT WAS YOUR SPIDER!?" I exclaimed.

"Well, anyway, I found the spider." Lee finished.

I rolled my eyes. "So... After like, what? Four years, you find the spider?"

"Where the hell was it?" George asked, carefully.

"Oh... It was in the Qudditch lockeroom."

"Why were you in there?" Fred questioned with an eyebrow raised.

"No reason. Me and Alicia weren't making out..." He awkwardly said.

I rolled my eyes.

"Come on," Fred began. "The train is stopping."

We were finally there. George and I took each other's hand, and together we hopped off the train.

We found one of the first carriages. Lee and Fred caught up to us, brining Angie and Alicia along with them.

"Don't you see them?" I asked nobody in particular.

There were horses pulling the carriages; they had large, leathery wings and a skeleton-like body.

"No." They all replied.

"But there are horses pulling the carriages!" I exclaimed.

"No there isn't, Madison."
