Chapter 7: Well then...
"What is your mothers last name?"
I asked him out of pure curiosity.
"Foster."
"That's MY mother's last name." I told him. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed.
"Did you see that one initiate?" I asked him after a moment of silence. He looked at me confused.
"The transfer that looked a lot alike me." I elaborated.
"She...was my sister." Four told me.
"Was?" I asked.
"She's your typical daddy's girl. When my father 'disciplined' me, she would join him." He explained quietly. I was shocked.
"I've hated her ever since. She would verbally abuse me while my father physically do it." His voice cracked at the end.
Empathy washed over me. I walked over to him and leaned against his shoulder."We all have happy pasts don't we?" I joked. He cracked a small smile.
"I need answers, Tobias." I said. I rarely called him Tobias. Only when I was playing around or dead serious.
"What's your mom's name?" He asked me.
"Ella." I answered. He stiffened. I got up from leaning against his shoulder.
"What?" Curiosity was literally strangling me.
"She's my mom's sister." He told me.
"You know what this means right?" He asked. I nodded and goofily smiled.
"WE'RE RELATED!!" I shouted and engulfed him into a hug.

Beep
Beep
Beep
I groaned as I tried to shut off my alarm. Two inked arms constricted me from reaching my destination. Matter a few minutes of struggling I gave up. I sighed and smiled. I couldn't believe it. I was related to freaking Four.
I guess he's my cousin brother? But something told me that there are pieces in this puzzle that are missing. After a bit of struggling, I finally escaped Eric's tight grasped.
As quickly as I could, I got ready for training the transfers.
I glanced at the clock.
7:39
I walked into the bedroom and slightly shook Eric's shoulder.
"Eriiiiiiic." I called.
"Eric!" I called a little louder.
Suddenly, two arms grabbed my shoulders and flipped me into the bed. He intently glared at me until he fully realized who it was. A smirk appeared on his face.
"I don't mind this position," he said. I could feel the heat rush to my cheeks.
"Screw you Eric." I say.
His smirk grew wider.
"Id rather do it to you, sweetheart."
Once I processed what he said I snakes his bicep.
"Get off me you oaf." I told him. He rolled off me and started to laugh.
I slipped off of the bed and slipped on some shoes.
"Your going to be late! Lilly is going to kill you if your late to that meeting!" I called out as I made my way to the door.
"Lilly can suck my-" he was cut off when I closed the door. I already knew what he was going to say though. I chuckled at the thought of his childish mind.
Today the initiates where going to start with knife training and shooting. So, this should be interesting...
Four was running a little late so I started.
"Alright! Today your going to learn how to shoot and throw knifes. We'll start with guns. So line up!" I shouted. The all scurried off to grab and load the guns. I was surprised at their submissive behavior. The must really be scared. Once they grabbed their stuff they lined up.
I then grabbed a gun so I could demonstrate.
I took it off of safety and aimed at the target. I took a deep breath and and pulled the trigger. My shoulders went back slightly at the blow, but I hit dead center.
BULLSEYE!!! Whoooohooo!
The initiates watched me in awe.
"Tour turn." I told them. They all ran to a target and started to practice. I watched each and everyone of them individually. The three Candors that were inseparable since training were doing alright for transfers, but there was room for improvement. Edward from Erudite was very good. If I didn't know better then I would've thought he was dauntless born. His girlfriend of the other hand...would of been better if at Amity.
Four's sister-Tessa-was...good? I couldn't even tell the difference is she was bad or if she was showing off.
She hit then side of the circular target on the top, bottom, left, and right. She basically made a diamond. I watched are Four walked up to her telling her something with a glare.
My thought were then interrupted by the Candor, Peter.
"Ha! See that? I hit dead center. This is to easy." He started the boast as he flung the gun around side to side. This made my blood boil. The idiot could kill someone.
I strut up to him and grabbed the front of the gun. Quickly, I hit his gut with it and flipped it over, turning the gun into my hands. I harshly pressed it against his temple; you could literally hear a pin drop.
"Your holding a loaded gun idiot. Act. Like. It." I hissed. He gulped and nodded. I glanced at Eric who had a proud look on his face.
"Ok! That's enough with guns! We're moving on to knifes." Four announces.
The initiates weren't that bad with knifes, except for one. I think his name was...Mal? No...I remember, its Al. He was doing horrible. The knife would either wiz off the board or would fly past it. I walked up to him.
"Focus on the target. Let go of the knife when you stare at the bullseye. It helps me at least." I told him. He nodded and tried. He was slightly better, but not in dauntless standards. That was when Eric came it.
"What was that?" He spat at the initiate. I stepped back, knowing that this wasn't going to be pretty. A few initiates stopped and turned to the two. I glared at them, signaling them not to stop practicing.
"It slipped." Al told him while shrugging his shoulders. Oh no...
"Go get them." Eric told him in a quiet yet malicious tone.
"No." Al replied bravely. I was impressed. No one stood up to Eric, but I knew it wasn't good.
Eric started to look pissed off.
"Everyone stop!" He shouted without leaving his gaze on Al.
"Stand infront of the target." Eric ordered. Just before Al was going to object Eric sent him a glare, meaning he better do it or he was going to rip his head off.
Al walked towards the target.
"Your going to stay there while four here," Eric then turned to Four, "throws knifes at you. You
flinch, your out."
Everyone started at him in shock, including me. That was not fair. Poor Al held his stance, but I could see his hand shake in fear.
"Stop!" Tris suddenly shouted. We all looked at her.
"Anyone could stand in front of a target. It has nothing to do with bravery." She told him bravely.
Eric raised his pierced eyebrow.
"Then you should take his place." He told her.
She looked taken aback at first but regained her cool and walked up to the target, switching places with Al. I could watch anymore, so I left the training center unnoticed.
I went to my favorite place near the chasm and let out a deep breath.
What happened to Eric which made him in such a bad mood. I mean he's like that to everyone (besides me and his friends) but he looked like he could punch someone at any moment.
My train of thought was suddenly Interrupted by the sound of someone crying. I looked up from the chasm to see a little girl and 2 guys around my age or younger.
"C'mon Dan let's have fun with this one." One said. The other nodded and looked the girl up and down.
"Come here you divergent filth." he spat while grabbing the little girl. I ran towards them and punched the one named Dan.
I glared at the next guy. "Touch her and your dead." I spat.
He smirked at me tauntingly. "Oh yeah? Who are you to come here and tell me that?" He asked.
I took a dangerous step towards them.
"Your future leader." I growled. His eyes widened when he fully saw my face. I guess I was pretty well known in dauntless. Before he could run away I grabbed him by the hood and slammed him to the wall.
He went unconscious. I turned to the little girl who was sitting against the wall with her arms around her legs.
"Are you ok?" I asked her. She shook her head. The girl looked about 5 or 6. I reached my hand out to her for her to take. She looked at it and shakily took it.
I helped her up and kneeled down so I could be her height.
"What's your name?" I asked her quietly.
"C-c-cat." She answered. I smiled.
"My name is Stormy." I into duces myself. She smiled.
"I know who you are," she told me, "you saved my brother."
I looked at her confused. Then I remembered that her brother was the boy I saved from almost falling from the chasm a long while ago.
"Oh yeah, how is he?" I asked her. Her smiled widened.
"He's good." She answered.i nodded and smiled.
"Well Cat I think it's time for you to go to your apartment. Where is it?"
She told me she knew the way and quickly left. Well than...she regained quickly.
I went to the tattoo parlor where I would always hang out with Noor. We talked for a while and I ranted to her about the divergent girl and how it was wrong to treats divergent like that, blah blah blah.
"Hey girls!" A voice shouted. We turned to see Uriah running towards us. "There's-a-party-at-zekes- at 7." He planted. We nodded.
"We'll be there." We told him. He smiled and left to go invite others.
Guess we're going to party.
