MIK 37

37: Finding Jisung!

Minho came out of the room, his eyes red from suppressing all the tears that threatened to fall down after hearing what happened during Jisung's high school days.

The mere thought of a depressed and crying young Jisung made him think about his own actions. He couldn't accept the fact that a bold and sassy person like Jisung was once a boy who got pushed around like an unwanted, unworthy creature.

It's sickening and absurd to think about.

After hearing Seungmin's side Minho wanted Jisung to know how much of a misunderstanding pit he has willingly fallen himself into. It made Minho wonder about Jisung's parents and their side of the story.

Are they a victim like Seungmin who always wished for Jisung's best, but unfortunately fell into a trap? If so, what was the actual truth?

So many questions raised in his conflicted mind as he pushed himself forward to continue walking.

He wanted to scream at Jisung  that he shouldn't dwell on the past, that the past was a mistake made from the sudden change of events.

"Minho!" Minho snapped out his thoughts as he watched a frantically running Seungmin in the hallways, coming towards him with a panicked expression making Minho worried.

"What is it, Seungmin?" He asked the man who showed a hand towards the exit, trying hard to catch breath.

"Jisung … there…" Seungmin said the words in broken pieces, trying to catch up with his uneven breath, but the actor understood what the latter meant by. He patted Seungmin's shoulder as he ran from there, his heart thumping fast against his chest.

Seungmin gulped as his heart ached at the image of an angry looking Jisung. It pained him to see Jisung, his best friend looking at him with pure hatred. Sighing he turned around only to flinch when he saw Kai standing there with crossed arms.

"May I know what K-drama is happening here?"
________

"Jisung?" Minho shouted as he looked around the street, his mask and hat making it difficult to catch his breath. He hastily took his phone out, trying to reach Jisung  only to realise that the phone was switched off.

"Damn it." Minho frustratedly yelled, kicking the can that laid on the ground. He swiped his hair back, trying to think of a way to find the younger one. Suddenly a person came into his mind. He immediately searched for Hyunjin's phone number who took the call on the third ring, voice laced with shock.

"Minho hyung…"

"Hyunjin!" Minho exclaimed, cutting Hyunjin midway, "Do you know where Jisung usually goes when he is down?" Minho asked directly without bearing around the bush.

"What happened to Jisung?" A panicking Hyunjin's voice was heard through the phone.

"I will tell you later, now please tell me." Hyunjin could hear the latter's worried voice, which was evident through the way Minho's voice trembled.

"Ah he goes to two places." Hyunjin exclaimed, trying his best not to waver his voice. "Sea and the cemetery." He voiced out, clearly.

There is no sea around here, so that means. Minho blinked his eyes in realisation, " Hyunjin, can you tell me where the cemetery is?"

"I will send you the directions." Without any delay, Hyunjin disconnected the call. Minho immediately took a turn and dashed towards the parking lot.

A loud notification sound was heard indicating that a new message was there. Minho took a look at the message and saw the directions sent by Hyunjin. Minho got inside the car and read the message.

It will take thirty minutes to reach there by car. Minho thought, starting the car, typing the direction to the GPS.

Jisung left ten minutes which means I have to drive a bit faster to reach him.
________

"Dammit, why now?" Minho exclaimed, looking at the rear view and front to see many vehicles surrounding him.

Unfortunately, the traffic signals aren't working, which caused an accident and traffic jam. He was stuck in the chaos.

A big thunder was heard as he looked up at the sky to see dark black clouds surrounding, ready to rain anytime.

He looked at the car next to him and slid the car window down. "Hey, Mister!" He yelled loudly in between the chaos and fortunately the driver heard his voice.

The young man looked at Minho with a frown, thinking why a masked man with sunglasses was yelling at him.

"Yes? Do you need something?"

"How long will it take to clear the road?" The man raised his eyebrows, quizzically.

"Do I look like someone who knows everything?" Minho was shook by the remark, but nodded anyway. Minho looked away with a sigh, mind completely blank.

The young man noticed the male's distressed state making him feel irritated. " Hey you!"  Minho glanced up, making the man wave his hands.

"I heard that it will take at least an hour to clear the mess. The road is blocked therefore the ambulance will take time to reach." Minho groaned, looking at his watch. The loud thunder wasn't helping the situation at all.

Without giving any thoughts, he took his phone and wallet, walking out of the car, making the latter's eyes go wide.

"Hey, keep this key. My manager will take it from you." Minho quickly added, " What's your name?"

"Changbin." The young man, who goes by the name Changbin, exclaimed, startled by Minho's behaviour. He watched, Minho running through the traffic block with shock.

What a mad man. He thought.

Minho messaged his film manager, Yeonjun, about the situation and quickly called for an uber when he reached a clear road. He showed the address to the uber driver who looked at him suspiciously, but nonetheless didn't say anything.

They had to take a short cut since the other road was packed with traffic and it took another twenty minutes to reach the cemetery. By the time they reached it was drizzling rain.

"Can you wait here for a minute? It's really important." He asked the uber driver who looked at him with a questioning gaze.

"I can't, Sir. It's raining."

"I will pay you extra for each minute." The driver looked at him in surprise, but nodded anyway.

"Okay, sure." Minho nodded, opening the door and he dashed his way to the cemetery. He used his mobile flashlight and started searching for Jisung.

"Jisung!" He yelled for the younger who was nowhere in sight. He once again yelled loudly, praying to every soul he knew to get his husband.

Finally he saw him. Far end of the cemetery.

Jisung was sitting on the ground, a hand placed over his grandmother's grave, his shoulders stumbled down, his body wet thoroughly with the pouring rain.

"Jisung." Jisung immediately turned his head around, his eyes widening when he saw a drenched Minho running towards him.

Jisung with difficulty, slowly stood up, his mind in utter disbelief. He would have thought that his mind was pulling tricks at him if it wasn't for the fact that Minho's cold hands were holding around his hands.

"Jisung." Minho uttered, relief washing over his mind, knowing that Jisung was standing in front of him, safe and sound. Jisung looked at the older and gently pushed Minho's hands from his, startling the older.

"Jisung…"

"Why are you here?" Jisung asked, looking away. "How did you know I was here?"

"Why did you run away?" Minho asked, skipping Jisung's question.

"I didn't." Jisung exclaimed, looking up with closed eyes, his face hitting with the soft rain falls. "I just came to visit my grandmother."

"Out of all time?" Minho's question made Jisung annoyed.

"Yes. Is there any specific visiting time under Mr.Actor's dictionary?" Minho shook his head, Jisung's annoyance clearly evident.

Jisung froze as thunder broke out. Minho held Jisung's hands as he pulled him, running from there to stand under the small tree situated there. Jisung pulled his hands away yet again. Minho glanced at his empty hands and fisted it.

"I know what you are doing here, Jisung." Jisung took a quick glance at the elder. "You saw Seungmin, right?" Minho bluntly asked, making Jisung shocked.

"What the hell are you saying? What does it have to do with him?"

"I know everything." Jisung froze. He felt like the ground he was standing over slipping away. "Even your past."

"What…You don't know anything! Just leave me the fuck alone."

"You drunk confessed about your childhood."

"No…"

"I don't know how you handled it." Minho said, moving closer to Jisung and held his shoulder.

"Even the imagination of it pains me, Han. I don't know how much pain you have felt while going through it." Jisung shook his head, trying to break free from Minho's hold, but Minho didn't let him.

"You shouldn't keep it inside you, Hannie. You should let it out." Jisung shook his head, not ready to show his vulnerable side.

"You should let it out, Jisung!" Finally Minho yelled, shaking Jisung's body," You have to!"

"Why!?" Jisung finally broke into tears, letting his suppressed emotions out. "Why?"

Minho pulled Jisung into a hug, letting the other to cry his heart out, his own heart breaking into pieces.

"Why does it happen to me!" Jisung cried out, "I have never hurt anyone in my life, then why do I always get hurt for no reason? Why Minho, why!" Jisung asked, punching Minho's chest weakly as his body trembled from feeling the wave of intense emotions.

Minho patted Jisung's hair, whispering comforting words into his ears.Jisung fisted Minho's collar as he placed his head on the crook of Minho's neck, letting all his tears out.

Sometimes we have to step a bit forward and push the person's wall down, gently touching their vulnerable point without hurting them.

To make them feel less vulnerable afterwards.
