MIK 26

26: He is my husband!

Jisung was currently at the canteen, waiting for Minho's order, thoughts messed up as hell.

When Minho left him after the intense kiss, Jisung's mind completely blanked out. For him, it felt like he was half-conscious.

Awake yet dreaming.

When he regained consciousness, he didn't feel furious, instead, he felt something inside him stirring, like an unexpected cold sensation on a blazing summer day. He felt an intense emotion kicking in.

When Jisung came out of the room, he glanced at Minho who was busy with a phone call, his back turned towards Jisung's direction.

Why didn't he push Minho when the latter was forcing his frustration upon him?

On top of that, why did he like it?

"You look troubled," Jisung glanced up and saw the same man he encountered in the morning looking at him with a wide smile.

"Oh! How stupid of me," The guy exclaimed, facepalming," I didn't even introduce myself properly. Hello! I am Felix."

"Jisung." The guy who now goes by the name Felix, smiled.

"That's a cute name." Jisung hummed, turning away, looking at the menu displayed over the screen, showing different types of drinks, but he wasn't reading it.

"Are you disturbed because of the morning?" Felix asked, grabbing Jisung's attention,  "Even though I am a trainee, trust me, I hate her and her snake-like attitude." He said, mimicking the receptionist lady's morning show bizarrely.

Felix's glance snapped towards Jisung, watching him laugh loudly. The trainee froze, his heart skipping a beat when he saw Jisung's angelic smile.

It reminded him of quokka.

"You are so funny," Jisung exclaimed, nodding at the lady who brought the ordered coffee and glanced at Felix with a smile, "Thank you."

"Nah, I just stated facts," Felix said, waving his hands, trying to hide the forming blush. "Oh, by the way, congratulations! It's hard to get a PA position under Mr.Minho you know." Jisung nodded awkwardly.

"Yeah, I can guess?" Jisung said, thinking about the office incident. "Anyways, nice to meet you, Felix... which liner are you?"

"95,"

"Oh! I'm a 95 liner too!" Felix chuckled.

"That's good to hear, but your position is admirable." Jisung felt a bit flustered by the compliment.

"Aish, don't say that." Jisung said," I have to go now, or else old… Mr.Lee will get angry." Jisung chuckled, awkwardly scratching his head.

He turned around ready to leave when a hand grabbed his shoulder, stopping his movement. Jisung glanced at the hand and at Felix, who immediately removed it from the shoulder.

"Sorry! It's just... Can I have your number?" Jisung tilted his head with a confused look,  "Don't misunderstand me. We both are new here, so I thought maybe we could become friends."

"Sure."

"Huh?" Jisung laughed at Felix's confused face.

"I said sure, idiot. I will only say my number one time so note it down." Felix started noting down the number immediately into his phone which made Jisung laugh, "Desperate aren't you?"

Felix laughed shyly," Can't blame me. Anyways, you should go now. You are already getting late." They both parted ways, joining back to their destination.

Jisung knocked on the door and a cold 'Come in' was heard.

He entered the office room and saw Minho placing his phone immediately on the table, which made Jisung feel a bit suspicious about his behavior.

He placed the coffee on the table, "Here is your coffee,"

"Thanks," Minho replied and took the cup without looking at Jisung. "Why are you still here?"

"I don't know what to do?" Hearing the reply, Minho took a glance at Jisung and then at the closed laptop.

Without any hesitation, he switched on the laptop and started typing, showing his ignorance to Jisung who felt annoyed by his husband's behavior.

"Are you even listening or not?" Minho glanced up and saw Jisung glaring down at him and he felt a shiver going down his spine.

"Just wait for a bit. I'm making your schedule here." Said Minho, glancing at the laptop as he Jisungd down the list.

After a few minutes, he printed down the list and took the printout. He looked at the paper, feeling satisfied he gave it to the younger who started reading the list with furrowed eyebrows.

"Am I your personal maid or something? Make coffee, bring lunch? What the hell!?"

"This is what a P. A do if you didn't know. Also, I can't give you documents or any other marketing-related things as I doubt you know anything about it." Minho tapped his fingers over the table,

"So in these free hours, you can do whatever you want inside this office. Also," Jisung felt annoyed by Minho 's dramatic pause. He rolled his eyes and asked annoyingly,

"Also what?"

"You can't be friends with any of my staff."

"Why can't I? Do you expect me to stay mute all day? I am a human, not a robot to say as per command."

"This is for your good." Minho replied through gritted teeth, "If you do that they can easily find out about our marriage." Jisung rolled his eyes and stared at Minho blankly.

"Still I'm not going to agree with your demand. I will talk to whomever I want." Jisung exclaimed, flicking his fingers as he pointed at Minho. Jisung turned on his heels and walked away leaving Minho enraged.

Minho took his phone skimmed through the CCTV footage and clicked on a particular timestamp.

He watched Jisung and Felix's interaction with intense jealousy.

Yes, he finally admitted to himself that he was jealous. Jealous of how Jisung smiled at Felix. Jealous of how Jisung gave his number to Felix.

Jealous of how Felix got to see these things when he, as Jisung's husband couldn't.

"Felix is a person with potential. A businessman should never mix personal and office life." Minho leaned on the chair as he placed one leg above the other, staring at the closed door.

"But sometimes exceptions should be made."
