I'm sitting in my room pissing off my mom by not doing any work reading 'The Fault in our Stars' for the 3rd time ,not listening to my mother who's been yelling at me for my laziness ' well am not lazy am just on my energy saving mode' I told myself

"Meera I swear if you gonna sit in your room just reading those useless book for hours forget about the food for your entire summer holiday" and that's it I go down stairs like a obedient girl

"There she is the lazy pig finally came out of it's pen" my brother commented yearning a glare from me

"Ma what's your problem can't you leave me in peace for a minute always Meera..Meera..Meera. Can't I read a book in peace mom" I said rather taunted this is our daily routine when I was in holiday

"Uffo girl what you gonna gain reading those stupid books, Nothing! if you keep doing this one day I'll just burn them to ashes" my mom yelled

I dramatically held my chest and replied in my sassy tone

"you know mom kids at my age are drinking partying and getting pregnant and here you are yelling at me reading books seriously" with my comment the last string of my mom's patience broke

"Your dead today" My brother laughed at my expense

I saw my mom holding a broomstick so I ran away saving this little dignity that remain

I went out and get into a cafe that's near my house where I promised to meet my friend Rahul we were friends since our diaper days he's pretty good looking guy in my school he's sweet as sugar and I have tiny little crush on him from a long time guess what we both kinda get admitted in the same college I'm pretty excited about it

"Hey are you waiting for me for a long time" I heard his voice

"Hey Rahul how does your vacation went" I asked him in a excited tone as he just returned from a family trip

"Yeah that was good but I missed my best girl" He said with a grin

"Well say no more cause we gonna attend the same college and I'm excited about it"

"Yeah your right and there you go I bought this for you" he said giving me a pendant

" wow it looks lovely"

what..what he just said before I can reply his phone rang

"Look I wanna spend some time with you but mom is freaking out over there see you soon" saying this he just kissed my cheeks and went away

Ok what the hell happened to this guy why he's acting like this after returning from this trip though I loved his gesture but I'm freaking out a little 'uff cool down Meera' I told mysel and blushed a little for the happenings does he love me like I love him I thought to myself and went home

*Next Day*

"Meera wake up It's getting late we have leave to your grandparents house in an hour" My mom yelled

I woke up due to my mom's loud voice. I love visiting my grandparents house which is in Ooty the most beautiful place in the world if you ask me the mountains the garden the climate which I miss in chennai I love going their often but not when he comes my rival Arjun my grandparents friends grandson who's family died in a car crash when he was little though he was in the car they managed to save him I don't have any personal grudge with him but I hate when everyone praise him and my mom compare me with him though he 4 years older than me my mom always adore him I was kinda jealous and mean towards him though he always try to be nice with me

I took a quick bath and wear a simple Kurti top and leggings and went down and my mom was quite surprised about me getting ready and even my father mocked me telling what made me get ready this quick

*few hours later*

As soon as we touched down coimbatore airport we saw the driver waiting to pick us up it's gonna be one hell of fun trip I jumped in excitement

In a big farm a boy is seen playing guitar and singing in his sweet voice his audience aka the kids in locality where dancing at his tune birds were singing along with his angelic voice while girls where drooling at the mister perfect and the chilling breeze made his air ruffle a little the sky looks clear as his voice

As soon as he finishes his song he dramatically bow in front of his little audience

"Arjun get in you may get cold" came the voice of an old woman

"Ok kids gotta go lets have fun some other day" he said ruffling the kids hair and went into the huge cottage

"Arjun come let's have our lunch" My grandparents more like my parents called me

The lunch went as usual me chatting with grandpa and grandma about everything . I was sitting in my room thinking about My love who never looked at me back or even glanced at I don't know what's her enmity she has with me. Meera the one word which make my heart beats fast, the girl who has the ability to make me go weak on my knees I know making her fall for me was a tough nut to crack but I planned to give it a try I hope she'll agree my proposal one day and I drifted into deep slumber

I woke up due to the car sound Which indicating that my love has arrived

So I went down towards the entrance there I saw my angel looking beautiful in a simple dress she adorned

"Hello auntie, hello uncle how's the journey" I greeted her parents

"Hey Arjun look at you how handsome you look" Auntie said patting my back

"Ah young how's life going" uncle asked

"Uffo guy can we at least get in" said Meera little annoyed

"Ah yeah everyone get in" grandma said and ordered the servants to place their luggage on their respective rooms

OMG is that Arjun or am I hallucinating he looks ridiculously hot. He went do his college in states and returned just a month though everyone in my family always praised him in front of me which always irked me.
