Meera's pov:

The journey from airport to Ooty was just mesmerizing as always the climate the trees the scenery everything never seize to amaze me. My grandparents cottage is near the Tea estate they own it was huge. I'm happy because my annoying brother couldn't come with us due to his upcoming exams well but another annoying creature is present here to spoil my mood. So to live in the moment I plugged my airpods into my ears and start listening to A whole new world by Zayn Malik

After a beautiful and tiring journey here we are in front of my grandparents house as soon as I came out of the car I saw my grandparents I ran towards them and hugged them tightly

"I missed you guys so much" I said as I hugged them more tightly both of them chuckled

"We missed you too sweetheart" my grandparents replied

That's when I hear a manly voice I turned towards to the voice only to see my rival wait is that him my mind screamed and my heart raced, woah I never expected him to look this hot I know I saw him four years before when he left to do his college in London when he looked like a nerd with not so attractive face or body and now what as got into him but I composed myself a little and went inside the cottage,

After freshen up a little and a small nap but not that small I went down to see my mom glaring , did I slept that long I thought to myself and gave my mom a nervous smile

"Oh god girl how could you sleep like a log did you see the time, You went to take a small nap after lunch now it's after dinner time in your life all you do is eat, sleep and read those useless books or argue with I don't how many complains I have to listen from your mother in law If by chance you get married in future" my mom completed her daily bajaan I didn't even hear half of her yells as I'm starving

"Stop in Rekha she's just 18 what's wrong in sleeping for an extra hours she must be tired of the journey" My grandma came for support

"It's all because of you guys she becoming spoiled day by day, Look at Arjun how responsible he is why can't she learn from him" My mom replied breaking the last string of my patience

"Mom will you please stop comparing me with him" I said fed up with my own mom comparing someone who is my rival

"So now you getting angry when I point out your mistakes" my mom said further annoying me

Without saying anything further I went to my room not minding my mom or my grandma.

I was busy planning better plotting on how to spoil Arjun's character in front of everyone I was so fed up with all the praises he gets I know that's none of his fault but ego didn't allow me to accept his perfectness I just wanna show his flaws to everyone I was busy cursing him in my mind when I heard knock in my door

"Go away " I said in annoyed tone

"Well can we just talk" I heard a manly voice but before I could reply he came in

"I don't wanna talk with anyone especially if it's you" I said narrowing my eyes at him

"Woah girl don't kill me, I just wanna talk nothing else" he smiled

"Ok you have 5 minutes to convey the message and leave my room" I sound little arrogant

"Ok that's more than enough"

"Uhmm Can I ask you something" he asked me

"You said you want to talk now you wanna ask me question, can't you say what you want to convey before starting a conversation" I spatted out I can see he's taken back by my replies I expected him to get anger but he just laughed an replied

"Well I like your smart mouth" what does that mean

" Ok let me come to the point why you don't like me" well that's something I'm not prepared for

"I can't tell you the reason that's personal"

"well there I concerned"

I sighed and replied giving up

"I don't why I don't like cause hate is a strong word to be used, well I don't like you cause your perfect" I blurted out

"So you don't like me cause I'm perfect"

"Hmm yeah kinda of and I'm jealous too like how people always praise you especially my mom" I said not looking at his face and he just laughed wait what's there to laugh

"Well what's not there to laugh" He replied as he red my mind

"I'm sorry" I don't why I said it

"That's ok uhmm I hope you don't plan something against me in the name of revenge" he said giving his million dollar smile at me. Before I could say anything he got up to leave

"Hey stop are you really leaving without saying anything further"

"I just came to know the reason of your behavior with me and the 5 minutes you gave me ended so let's catch up tomorrow" he smiled at me and reciprocate

He took the book beside my side table

"You won't mind if I borrow this right" He asked showing the book

"Yeah sure but don't damage it "

"Ok then goodnight" he said

"Hmm goodnight" I replied

I kinda feel like a small child who got caught in a candy store is I'm that open for someone to read my thoughts at one point I feel embarrassed for plotting to spoil his image in front of all all my thoughts are broken when I get a notification from Rahul

hey are you sleeping

Nope not feeling sleepy

what you doing other
than reading book

Tried plotting against someone
but gave up initially

who's that unlucky guy
to mess with you

Just some one. leave about it

Then me and Rahul had a random chat about everything and I looked at the time 'shit it's already 12:30 god I have to wake up soon or my mom will start her early morning lecture' I tried to sleep but my stomach grumbled scolding me not to show my anger on food,So I silently went towards kitchen and searched for something to eat

"What you doing here at this time" I heard a voice

About Meera's character I just got inspired by my own self
