' Rin's been off all week , he keeps saying he's fine and when he works he acts like nothing's wrong ... But I can't help but get the feel that something is wrong with him, I guess I'll try to get him to talk later '

I sigh as I take the yen and tell the costumer there table number

" Alright, thank you "

I smiled and replied

" No problem "

I pulled out some paper and start doing some math to determine how much yen we made at the shop these past weeks , so that I'll most likely know me and Rin's pay

As I went to get the food I thought to myself

' How much longer ? Like a few weeks til we get the house ? ...I believe so ... On the bright side I get to live with Samu during third year . '

I walked off to hearing the dad laughing and the siblings telling him it wasn't funny

" Well that girl confessed that I was hot as fuck , I made her brother gay panic and there dad was just laughing at them "

" Mhm , and good thing too . The shop needs a little action every now and again "

~Time Skip - A few hours (still at the shop)~

It was my cooking shift now , it has been for an hour now and I was talking with the others about the new house

" Well Miya , I'm glad things are going well . Hope y'all can get that house soon "

My coworker said sounding as cheerful as ever

'I wonder what Rin is up too right now '

As I continued making the Oniguri I heard my Boss yell

" Aye Suna , Miya . Break! "

' Break?... That's weird, usually it's not til later , it's still noon '

I took off the kitchen wear and went to visit the boss to ask why he called me and Rin's break sooner then supposed to

I looked beside me to see Rin walking towards me

'guess we had the same idea'

We then continued walking to the bosses office

* Knock knock *

" Come in "

Rin and I walked in and he smiled

" Well if it isn't my two favorite employees. How many I help y'all "

Rin and I looked at each other seeing who would speak first

" Aye boss , why'd you call our break so soon ?"

" You two are the hardest working employees I've ever had . So me and the others agreed to give y'all a longer break and a raise . So hopefully you can get that house and enjoy y'all's last year in High school"

Rin and I stood there . We didn't really expect that ...

" Boys ?....Y'all alright?"

I was the first to snap back to reality

" Yes sir , We just didn't expect that "

" Well you two deserve it . Now y'all have a longer break for two weeks . Don't waist that time talking to me . Go on , have fun "

We both walked out the office and decided to go to this park a few blocks down . We just walked around and talked for a bit . We reached this part with really cool fairy lights .

" Well don't this place look nice "

Rin said and he sat on the bench

" Yeah , it does "

Rin layed back with his head up and eyes closed

'I wonder if I can get him to talk'

" Rin "

" Are you okay ?"

He flinched for a sec then he looked at me
and sighed

" Not really , but I'll be alright soon"

" How soon "

" As soon as you go therapist mode "

I chuckled and he seemed to relax a bit

" So...did something happen ?"

He looked at me then at ground

" When third year ends , were gonna have to separate . I don't really wanna think of it but I can't help it , and I'm worried about Nozomi as well . I just got her back and now imma be even further from her "

Rin looked so sad , Not crying but you can tell he was sad .

I scooted closer to him

" Rin .. you don't have to worry about Nozomi . Once third year ends I was planning on keeping Nozomi with me . "

Rin then looked at me still kinda upset but not as upset

" As for not seeing each other, that thought hurts but just cause we can't see each other physically doesn't mean we can't call , text , facetime and whatever else . Nozomi and I could visit as well "

" But you can't juggle work, bills , visits and taking care of Nozomi "

" Well it's a good thing i got Aiko who agreed to help "

" Agreed .. so y'all planned it all out ?"

" Mhm , you've been suffering your whole life . Aiko and I want you to do whatever it takes to be happy . So , well handle things here , and you win every game and you better have fun doing so "

He stared at me in shock . So I smiled and was about to say more until he hugged me

He sounded like he needed to hear that , but he still sounded sad . I hugged him back and said

" It's alright Rin , and besides . We still have the rest of third year . So let's make the most of it , alright "
