thirty four | "if the fates deem it so, not even the gods could get in the way"
There'd been whispers.
They spread far and wide, almost inaudible but they were whispers, ones that found themselves plaguing Seokjin's ear far more than he wished. Broken twigs and creaking branches, giggling amongst each other as if they knew something that Seokjin didn't. It had been fine the first couple of weeks but after a while, Seokjin felt himself losing the little control he had over the terrain. He was grasping at strings thinner than those the spiders made, and he felt as if one small, delicate move would snap them.
Hoseok hadn't stopped bothering him. If anything, he was more persistent now, telling Seokjin he was running out of time. But what time exactly? Seokjin had all the time in the world. If anything, he had an almost limitless supply. Artemis had told him that as long as he held the reigns, he would continue to live. The blood of the Gods was something that granted him reduced aging, and all he had to do was remain in Artemis's good graces.
"It's like you don't love me anymore."
Seokjin ignored Hoseok's words, though that did nothing to stop the immediate dagger at the heart. He chided himself for still letting himself get hurt over Hoseok's words, as it had been the only true constant in his life. Hoseok's constant hatred, the corn, the venom, like he despised every cell in Seokjin's skin, every breathe that passed through his lungs. It was excruciating. All Seokjin wanted to hear was the words he'd heard from Hoseok before. The words of love, the side of Hoseok he had murdered. He did everything to appease Hoseok, to no avail. Nothing seemed to satisfy Hoseok.
How could it?
This wasn't his Hoseok.
"I'll never be him," Hoseok smiled snidely, jabbing a finger at Seokjin's chest. "He's gone. All I am is what you will never have."
"There have been talks of Hoseok," Seokjin responded, voice wavering at the change of expression on Hoseok's face. "Of you. That they've seen you running around, like one of them."
If Hoseok knew anything, he didn't show it.
"If I were alive, my lovely Seokjin," his voice dripped with venom. "You would not see me standing here, shadowing you. I would not be creeping on your every thought, every heartbeat, and I most certainly would not be within your eyesight. Look at me, Seokjin. Touch me. Aren't I real?"
Seokjin turned to look at Hoseok. He turned to see the dead, dull eyes staring back at him paired seamlessly with contempt. His lips were blue, skin pale, and hair devoid of life, but he looked alive just the same. The wound Seokjin had inflicted on him was visible, though no blood came out of it. He was still wearing the clothes he'd last worn before his death. Slowly, Seokjin brought his hand up to Hoseok's cheek, breath sharp as his hand touched cold, clammy skin that suddenly seemed so warm to Seokjin.
His eyes watered with tears. Hoseok's lips pulled into a smile that Seokjin knew would never reach his eyes, and he leaned into Seokjin's touch, letting his free hand run along Seokjin's face. It felt so real, it always did, that it was difficult for Seokjin to remind himself that he'd made it up. It was so much easier pretending that it was real. Eventually, his will to remember Hoseok wasn't real eroded, though Seokjin couldn't remember exactly when, but it helped him all the same.
"You are real to me," Seokjin smiled through tears. His heart hurt, beating frantically in his chest, and tears slipped. He wanted, no needed, it to be Hoseok so badly. The guilt that had been tearing at him since Hoseok had died never left his mind. Not even Artemis could relieve him of the stress, much less Micah, who'd conveniently settled into the post-ruler life.
"I would never be one of them, my love," Hoseok said, the words etching themselves into Seokjin's reality. "They are the one thing you fought for me. If I turned into one of them, all your sacrifices to me would have been in vain. Your mission would be in vain. You saved me from them."
"I did, Hoseok."
"You did," Hoseok repeated, voice sounding reassurance to Seokjin. "I wouldn't betray you like this. If I became one of them, it would mean you were selfish, Seokjin. It would mean that what you did wasn't for me, but because you couldn't bear the thought of losing me. It would mean that right now, I would be in that bloodsucker's arms, the exact ones you killed me for so that I would no longer be under their spell."
Hoseok was right. What was Seokjin even thinking? Hoseok couldn't have been brought back to life. He couldn't be one of those things that relied on blood as a means of survival. He wouldn't be in Min Yoongi's arms. If Hoseok were alive, he would be with Seokjin. He'd have found a way back to Seokjin, so they could be together.
So why couldn't he believe it?
"Are you doubting your motives, Seokjin?" Hoseok's voice was soft, holding just the tiniest of cunning in them. "Do you not believe yourself? Me? I'm hurt."
"No, I-i do."
Hoseok pulled away from Seokjin, clicking his tongue. "No, you don't. I can see it in your eyes."
"I'm confused, Hoseok," Seokjin breathed, turning away from Hoseok. He began to walk deeper toward the forest, no destination in mind, with Hoseok following him, nagging at him. Seokjin managed to tune it out for a second, hearing the crack of a twig to which his body immediately turned towards. His fingers just above his arrows, and in an instant, he readied his bow, firing without a moment's hesitation.
Whether the arrow landed wasn't the question, but the sound that came out of the arrow landing was. He rushed to the sound, his fingers already grabbing another arrow. Perhaps he'd shot an animal, unfortunate, but depending on its condition, it could give them food to eat. He knew he hadn't shot at the air, because it had hit something, Seokjin just didn't know what.
To his disappointment, what he had hit had already run off, leaving the arrow behind. Seokjin looked around to find any trace of whatever it was but found nothing. He grabbed the arrow that was stuck into the dead, bled out animal, and pulled it out, examining the arrowhead. A slow smile slipped into his lips as he looked at it, and he rang his finger over it, a small triumph in all his years of searches.
The blood on the arrowhead was golden.
"I found you," Seokjin whispered, his eyes glinting predatorily.
Pureblood.
He grabbed a handkerchief from his pocket, and cleaned the arrow, stashing it back. Whoever the Pureblood was had made a grave mistake letting themselves get hit with the arrow. To the regular person, they were harmless, but these silver arrows, engineered from Hoseok's blood and blessed by Artemis were poison to Purebloods.
Seokjin could only hope that the arrow had pierced close enough to the heart.
"You'll end this, won't you?" Hoseok asked, finally appearing from the shadows. "You'll avenge me."
"I will."
Any creeping doubts Seokjin had dissolved at the golden blood laying almost proudly on his handkerchief. It was proof that after years of searching, the Purebloods had finally slipped. There was no greater news than that. Once they were taken care of, Hoseok would leave him alone. He would be at peace.
It was something Seokjin would look forward to.

It had taken Yoongi less than half a second to pull Hoseok into his arms, sighing in relief when he'd realized that Hoseok was seemingly uninjured. He cupped Hoseok's cheeks which were smeared with tears and what smelled like deer blood, eyes flashing frantic, and it only took Hoseok a second more to break down in Yoongi's arms. Yoongi turned to Namjoon who was holding Jungkook, his eyes filled with worry as he lay Jungkook down, who was currently groaning in pain. His hand was clutching his side, and after some gentle coaxing, he let his hand drift downwards, revealing fingers tainted with golden blood, his white dress shirt coated with his blood.
Jungkook's breath was quick and erratic, his eyes closing as he groaned in pain. Namjoon's fangs slid out, and he tore his wrist, blood spilling out and he put his wrist on Jungkook's mouth, to which Jungkook immediately began to drink. Yoongi tried calming Hoseok down, who was now sobbing in his chest, though he didn't mind Hoseok dampening his shirt. Gently, Yoongi sank to the floor, getting Hoseok to do the same, before looking at Namjoon, who for the first time in a long time, was looking at Yoongi with genuine fear in his eyes.
"I don't know how we'd treat this," Namjoon said, pulling Jungkook's shirt up with his free hand. "I've stopped the blood, but this injury is nothing that I've seen before." To Jungkook, he said, "I'm going to need you to slow your heart down, baby. The more it beats, the more blood will threaten to flow."
"An arrow," Hoseok mumbled, timidly showing Yoongi his hand. Yoongi's eyes widened at the burn mark his pal seemed to have, and he took Hoseok's hand gently. "I pulled it out of Jungkook. Yoongi, it hurt. It burned me. Pulling arrows shouldn't be hurting me like this."
"Yeah, they shouldn't," Yoongi breathed, immediately calling for Yeonjun. Yeonjun appeared in a few seconds, amused expression immediately dropping to one of concern as he took note of Jungkook's injury and Hoseok's hand. "Do you know what's going on?'
Yeonjun examined Hoseok's hand after looking at Jungkook. Without saying a word, he pulled out a coin and handed it to Hoseok, trying to get him to take it. From the scent, Yoongi knew it was silver, but encouraged Hoseok to take it anyway, soothing Hoseok once he did take it. The coin in Hoseok's hand fell as quickly as it had been held, and Hoseok looked at Yeonjun with wide eyes.
"Silver."
Yeonjun clicked his tongue. "Not just any silver. This silver was blessed by Artemis. Hoseok, it burned you. Regular silver does little to hurt your kind, but of to hurt even you, the arrow was made out of Artemis's silver. Forged by her. Blessed. Can you tell us what happened as I tend to Jungkook's wounds?"
Hoseok and Jungkook had been hunting in the woods. Jungkook was teaching him how to find prey, and after a couple of tries, Hoseok had managed to catch a deer. He'd been drinking it while Jungkook stood watch, and when Hoseok had been done, he'd stepped on a twig. That's when the arrow came flying, and Hoseok hadn't heard it in time. Jungkook had, and he'd pushed Hoseok out of the way, taking the arrow himself. He'd collapsed, though kept himself from crying out. He'd tried taking the arrow out, but couldn't, and that's when Hoseok had pulled it, but he hadn't been as lucky in keeping quiet.
They'd manage to run out of there, but not before Hoseok had seen a pair of familiar eyes.
"Seokjin," Jimin grimaced. "And here I'd thought that we'd heard the last of him. He found us."
Yoongi shook his head. "He hasn't found us. Not yet. He won't."
"The wards around this place are airtight," Yeonjun confirmed, eyes flashing brightly. "If he even steps a foot into this area, he'll be immediately transported somewhere else."
"Seokjin doesn't look good," Hoseok murmured, watching as Yeonjun now bandaged his hand. "I couldn't recognize him."
Yoongi sighed.
"That's what guilt does to you, sunshine," Yoongi's voice was quiet. "Are you okay?"
No, Hoseok wasn't.
He'd committed the part where he'd heard Seokjin to the air, saying his name. It scared him. Seokjin was having a talk with himself, and he'd seen Seokjin lift his hand. He'd seen Soekjin begin to cry for a split second before ripping the deer's skin. He could hear perfectly Seokjin's every word, and if he'd heard them, Jungkook had too but hadn't said anything. Seokjin's words had momentarily distracted him when he'd finished feeding. In a way, he'd been the direct cause of Jungkook's injury.
Seokjin had heard him, even though they were relatively far away. He'd taken no hesitation in sending the arrow flying, and if Jungkook hadn't gotten in the way, it would have gone into Hoseok.
"It's not your fault," Yoongi reassured, noticing Hoseok's face. "You couldn't have known anyone other than you two were going to be there."
"Seokjin doesn't have a distinct scent," Yeonjun chimed, frowning. "Not anymore. Artemis's Hunters don't have a scent. It makes it easier for them to be detected. Their other senses are out of this world. Predators. You could probably hear him but not know where he was. You two will be fine. Jungkook may take longer to heal because he was inflicted with the arrow. Fortunately, it didn't hit any major arteries."
"It would have been fatal if it did," Namjoon said, holding a now unconscious Jungkook. "Jungkook has higher concentrations of my blood in his system. If I were to estimate, a little more than half Pureblood. That arrow wasn't only silver. It was laced with blood. The injury looks similar to how yours did, Yoongi, years ago."
"The blade hadn't been silver then," Yoongi said, frowning slightly. "Artemis must have gifted Seokjin silver arrows. Seokjin must have blood shielded them. If it had hit you, Hoseok, you would have been gravely injured."
"But it was blood shielded with my blood, how would it hurt me?" Hoseok asked, bewildered.
"It doesn't matter whose blood it is, Hoseok," Namjoon answered. "As long as it's from one of you, it's effective to anyone who's a Pureblood. You're a Pureblood. Mother made it so. You're just as susceptible. I imagine that's why Jungkook pushed you out of the way."
So now, Hoseok was weak to the one thing he'd unknowingly helped create. He didn't remember Seokjin ever having arrows, much less using his blood to shield them, but it could very well have happened after his death. He'd try to rack his brain, but honestly, Hoseok didn't want to remember the memories of his past life, at least not the extremely painful ones. He'd been good the last couple of weeks, learning how to re-adapt to the society he was taken out of, and he didn't want to remind himself of his past days. He wanted to focus on the present, and eventually, the future.
"You've had a rough night," Yoongi said, voice gentle. "We should head to our room."
Hoseok nodded slowly. "Will Jungkook be okay?"
"He will be," Namjoon assured, lifting Jungkook in his arms. "I gave him some of my blood to help him heal faster and I will not let him out of my sight. You should get some rest, Hoseok. You received quite a scare today."
"If it's not healing fast enough, you could always ask Yoongi to give you some of his blood," Yeonjun added, smirking suggestively. "I'm sure he'd love to help out."
Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Ignore him. I promise it will be okay. You don't have to do anything you do not want."
"It helps with healing?"
Yeonjun nodded. "Strengthens the bond between the two of you."
"Come on, Hoseok," Yoongi stood up, offering Hoseok his hand. "Bedroom. Come."
Hoseok nodded, taking Yoongi's hand. He was lifted from the ground, and his non-injured arm went to hug Yoongi's frame, with Yoongi slinging an arm over Hoseok's shoulders. He pressed a quick kiss to Hoseok's forehead, leading them to their room. Hoseok was quiet for a while, and it wasn't until Yoongi had sat them down on the bed that he spoke.
"I think he's guilty," Hoseok said. Yoongi arched an eyebrow, waiting for Hoseok to continue. "Seokjin."
"What did he say?"
"I don't know," Hoseok frowned, crossing his arms. "I know what he said, but it sounded like he was speaking to me. He'd say my name. There's something wrong with him. He can't be talking to me. I haven't seen him in such a long time. Not since..."
He killed me.
Yoongi's expression softened. "I'm sure it must have been hard for you. Did you see his face?"
Hoseok shook his head.
"Good," Yoongi paused. "I have no doubts you're right. My brothers had been keeping an eye on Seokjin, and they both said that Seokjin displayed signs that indicate he feels guilty over your death. Namjoon has studied humans far more than any of us, so with his knowledge and Jimin's ability, they were able to determine Seokjin must be seeing a hallucination form of yourself."
"Me?" Hoseok asked, bewildered. "Why me?"
"He killed you," Yoongi answered. "His guilt manifested into a hallucination of you. I wouldn't be surprised if the version he made of you he believes to be real. Hallucinations are powerful, love. They have the ability to completely destroy a person. However, what he's going through he deserves. I would give him a fate far worse than that."
"You may be right."
Truthfully, Hoseok didn't know what to feel. Seokjin had been the person he'd loved for most of his life, and Seokjin had betrayed him. They'd grown up together, fell in love, and devoted their time to each other. Had this been any other universe, perhaps Seokjin and Hoseok would have been endgame. No matter how much Hoseok wanted to tell himself that Seokjin was someone of the past, it was difficult not to remember the good times they had. Seokjin loved the only way he could, and while a lot of his decisions were misguided, he hadn't been fortunate to learn the way Hoseok did. He thought he was saving Hoseok, and now he was paying for the actions he took because of that.
It wasn't fair.
Seokjin had changed himself so that he could try to save Hoseok. But Hoseok hadn't needed saving. They could have changed everything that his father had taught them. They could have gotten along as friends. All the many things that could have happened, but they didn't, and now they were here. Seokjin was the enemy, but to Seokjin, Hoseok, and everyone else Hoseok held dear now was. Why couldn't Seokjin just have seen what Hoseok was seeing? Why was he so stubborn in trying to keep Hoseok in the dark?
"Love, sunshine."
"Hm?"
Hoseok looked up at Yoongi, who was staring at him. Hoseok was sure he hadn't said anything out loud, but his expression must have given away the turmoil in his head. Yoongi didn't seem offended at Hoseok's thinking. If anything, he looked at Hoseok as if he were the only one in the world, and in hindsight, Hoseok was. He was the only one in Yoongi's world. Yoongi had become someone in Hoseok's world, but before, it had been Seokjin. It was the bitter truth, and Hoseok had made peace with it. But knowing that Seokjin would have to move on from the warped reality he had, Hoseok couldn't help but feel it could have been different.
"I know you're thinking it could have been different," Yoongi thumb glided across Hoseok's cheek. "Maybe in another universe. In this one, we were always meant to be together. The actions that Seokjin took were his alone. I can't blame him. I would have tried anything to keep you on my side if the roles were reversed."
"Would you have killed me too?"
"I don't think I would have," Yoongi said, smiling. "It would hurt, but if you were truly happy with Seokjin, I would have let you go. If you love someone, you do anything to want to see them happy, even if it's at the detriment of your own happiness. Had Seokjin done that, I would have done everything to ensure that he could live his life free of heartbreak, so he wouldn't have to suffer losing you."
"He can't be saved."
"No," Yoongi responded. "He swore allegiance to Artemis by accepting her deals. One changed him completely. To go back from the offer of a God would mean instant death. That's the reality of it. Seokjin will die, no matter how we could try to save him."
"Can't you just change him back to normal?" Hoseok questioned. Yoongi laughed, shaking his head.
"I can't change reality, Hoseok," Yoongi answered. "I can manipulate, but I can't alter reality. To alter reality would mean to change the laws. I would assume if someone is on the brink of death, you could write into existence the person magically cures themselves. Altering reality would mean having the ability to create the world in your image. You could change everyone's species, rewrite history, and do anything your mind set you to. The ability would rival that of a God. It would be nice to have that."
Hoseok shrugged. "I think that's too much power for one person. I'm sure the Gods would try to kill whoever had that."
"If the Fates deem it so, not even the gods could get in the way," Yoongi smiled, leaning in to kiss Hoseok's lips. "Look at us. Despite everything, we are here, together. I'd say that's a cause for celebration."
"You always know what to say," Hoseok shook his head, blushing a little. Yoongi tilted Hoseok's head back towards him, pressing another kiss onto his lips.
"When it comes to you, sunshine, my vocabulary is endless," Yoongi grinned. "You will get sick of me by the end of it, I promise you."
Something in Hoseok told him that Yoongi's words would be something he would never get tired of, but he nodded anyhow, appeasing Yoongi's claim.
He'd just have to remind Yoongi centuries from now.
"I love you," Yoongi whispered, eyes glinting longingly. "You are aware, correct?"
Hoseok giggled.
"I am, aware, my love."
Yoongi's lips blossomed into a smile., warming Hoseok's heart.
"Say that again."
Hoseok cocked his head to the side, feigning confusion. "I am, aware."
Yoongi immediately shook his head. "The last word."
"My love?"
Yoongi's smile grew wider, his eyes shining brighter than Hoseok had ever seen them. It took Hoseok's breath away, and it took all of him not to keep repeating the same words over and over, all because it made Yoongi smile at him the way it did. After a few moments of silence, they leaned into each other, softly brushing their lips with each other again. It was chaste, mellow, and innocent, and the simplicity of it could move Hoseok into tears. All his troubles were forgotten as their lips met, and Hoseok craved the feeling. He was sure Yoongi did too.
"I love you, too," Hoseok said, once they pulled apart. "I hope you know that. You may not have been my first, but I promise you will be my last."
"Let's hope so," Yoongi remarked, teasing Hoseok. "If I am dead, I will escape the Underworld before I let any other lips claim yours. You're not getting rid of me."
Hoseok wouldn't have it any other way.

Selene would make it rain hellfire if it meant protecting her sons. Hecate would too, but that wasn't a surprise. Hecate and Selene were family. They'd had each other's backs through everything. Hecate had been the one to suggest eternal slumber for Endymion. She'd been the one who helped Ambrogio and Selene with their children, and when Ambrogio died, Hecate had been there to offer consolation. She'd picked up the pieces of Selene's broken heart and mended it back together, piece by piece.
Artemis had done nothing but break it over and over again.
"He's alive."
Selene smiled, saying nothing as Hecate brushed her hair. Artemis stood near them, shaking furiously at the lack of response. Hecate began to carefully braid Selene's hair, complimenting her long, silky hair in the process.
"You did this, didn't you?" Artemis continued, looking at Selene accusatorily. "You brought him back. How did my uncle let that pass?"
"He didn't pass to the Underworld, Artemis," Selene breezed, looking at herself in the mirror. "It seemed the Fates decided that Jung Hoseok deserved to live after you so traitourously convinced Seokjin to kill him."
"You'll destroy the little humanity Seokjin has left because of this," Artemis said, earning a laugh from both Hecate and Selene.
"You did that yourself," Hecate said, Selene, murmuring in agreement. "I do feel sorry. All your work, going down the drain. At least Seokjin's still a Hunter, correct? Your first male Hunter. I never thought I would live to see the day. It will be up to you to explain to him why Hoseok came back and did not choose him."
"Not you too."
"Yes, me too," Hecate countered, continuing to braid. "You took my son's soulmate for petty revenge. Your pride blinded you. That is no one's fault but yours. Did you think you would win Selene's heart back that way?"
A moment of silence passed through the room.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Artemis finally said, shattering the silence. "I am only doing what is right."
Hecate shrugged. "Beleive what you want, Artemis. Nothing will change the fact that Selene never chose you. She chose Endymion first. Then, she was a maiden and you had her. After, she fell in love with Ambrogio, who helped her bring three beautiful children into the world. You killed him, did everything to make their children's life difficult, including my child, and still, you thought you could get her back. That you would get her back, despite all the times that she crossed you because she refused to choose you over a man. Now, she chooses her children and their soulmates over you. When will it end for you?"
"Hecate's always been there for me," Selene smiled, thanking her for the braid. "Every time you messed up, Artemis, she was there to help me. She messed up by helping you, and she offered her apologies. She helped me hide Hoseok for three and a half years. She helped me give him medicines that would restore him. You've done nothing except gloat your triumph over me."
Selene stood up and she walked towards Artemis, face void of expression. Artemis eyed her warily, drawing a breath as Selene stood in front of her, eyes searching wildly for any sign of weakness. Artemis found none, and so she hardened her gaze, staring impassively at Selene, who betrayed nothing from her expression.
"You have never once apologized to me."
Selene's voice was soft but stern. It drove Artemis crazy that even after all this time, Selene still had the audacity to stand up to her like this. She'd spent every moment undermining Artemis, and it was Artemis who had to apologize? For what? Selene had been the only one that did wrong. Artemis was just trying to correct those wrongs, and Selene couldn't see that. Why would she? Her mistakes were the things she loved the most. It made her blind to her mistakes, because to Selene, her mistakes were her biggest blessings.
"You have never given me a reason to apologize to you."
The tension between them was thick as knives, and Artemis could feel her insides churning with rage at how nonchalant Selene was acting. Nothing seemed to break her. It infuriated her without measure.
"They can still die," Artemis said, changing tactics. This caused Selene to break her expression for a split second, so Artemis continued. "They may have their soulmates, but they can be killed. When they do, I'll be the one ensuring their souls head to Tartarus, where they will spend the rest of eternity alongside their good for nothing father."
Selene's eyes burned with rage. Artemis smirked victoriously, leaning towards Selene's splintering expression.
"Selene, it isn't worth it," Hecate said, placing a hand on Selene's shoulder. "She's trying to get a rise out of you."
Artemis gazed at Hecate cooly. "I'll see to it that your son joins them too."
"Charming," Hecate remarked, pulling Selene away. "Come on. You promised me we would have dinner together."
As Hecate dragged her away, Selene broke free. Hecate turned to her in warning as if to stop her, but she smiled, giving Hecate a mental reassurance that she wouldn't do anything completely unreasonable. She turned towards Artemis, the anger gone, replaced by desolate pity. Pity and sadness, the two emotions Artemis knew Selene had no right to direct at her.
"You've made so many people suffer because of me," Selene said, frowning. "Have you checked in on your so-called Hunter, Kim Seokjin? He's suffering psychologically. He will run that country into the ground if he hasn't already done so. But you don't care about that, do you? All you care about is yourself. You and your faux win."
With that, Selene walked away, leaving Artemis for what seemed to be the billionth time, seething in rage and alone, choosing someone else over her once again.
a/n: hey, hey how are y'all holding up? i hope you're doing okay after yesterday's events. surprisingly, i kept a level head, but honestly that's just how i am as a person (i tend to look at things rationally rather than emotionally), so i hope you are all doing good! if you need anything, i'm here<3
i realized that we're slowly coming to the end. this is crazy, actually. with how much i write per chapter, i think there maybe a couple more chapters left + epilogue. this is surreal. i can't believe i'm almost done with this book. i felt like i wasn't, but the more i write, the more i feel this story wrapping up, and once we get to the end, i'm going to be attempting to tie all the loose ends the story may have.
also, idk if i should repeat this but i think it's clear that the way the gods are acting are just of my own creation (mfm's loosely based on greek mythology, most of it i've just made up including the personalities)
not to worry, this still has plenty of twists that will follow us until the end (just like a telenovela 😫). i mentioned before there would be character deaths (way at the warnings page of the intro), and that hasn't changed so stay tuned.
thank you for reading. love you always <3
