Ram was stalking Priya for a few days and now that he knew, Priya comes to the park every morning he visits the park at the same time to observe her activities without her notice. He could not digest the closeness between Ved and Priya whenever he saw them together.

From the day he met her after their separation, his mind fully occupied with Priya and the thoughts about her. Nowadays he is hardly spending time with Ishaan and Ayaan. Juhi observed the changes in his behavior and tried to find out the reason but she could not find anything.

Finally, the day arrived when Ram was taking charge of the new company. Priya received the biggest shock when she got to know about the takeover news from her colleague, as of now she has no idea who's going to be her new boss and what her new boss is up to. When she entered the office, arrangements were happening on full swing to welcome the new boss.

Priya asked her colleagues about the arrangements.

"Priya, today our new boss is coming to the office and he will be here any time." One of the colleagues informed her.

Priya was feeling restless since morning and not sure how to react to the events happening around her.

They both were talking when Manager Rishi made his way towards them.

"If you are done with your gossiping, can we start working?" Rishi said, looking at Priya.

"Hope you had enough leaves for this year. Today our new boss Mr Ram Kapoor is taking charge and we should welcome him and make sure everyone is present to receive him." Risha told Priya and left to have a look at the arrangements.

Priya stood frozen in her place hearing her husband's name. Her body shivered and she felt helpless by each passing second.

Gathering her senses back, she made her way into the washroom when she came to know that Ram Kapoor has arrived.

There was no other way for her to escape from this situation but she needed time to compose her restless heart.

"Oh god! Why are you doing this to me?" Priya panicked.

Rest of the employees welcomed Ram with due respect, presented him with flower bouquets but his eyes were in search of Priya.

"Where is Priya?" Rishi went away and asked one of the colleagues, as he could not find her around.

"She must be here. I told her sir has arrived but no idea why she is not coming still." One of the staff members informed him.

"I will see her later. Now, tell someone to offer some welcome drinks to sir." Rishi was annoyed with Priya as he specially informed her to be there to welcome Mr Kapoor.

Employee nodded and left.

Rishi started introducing each employee one by one but Ram's eyes were searching for Priya only. However, Ram nodded his head to every employee but he hardly paid attention to his surroundings. He was a bit annoyed seeing Priya's absence for quite a long time and stopped Rishi abruptly.

"I think we are done with the introduction. It's good to meet you all." Ram passed a polite smile at them.

"Mr Rishi, I want all the details of employees and the project they are handling right now." saying this he moved towards his cabin.

When Ram moved inside his cabin, everyone heaved a huge sigh.

"By God! He is The Ram Kapoor. I read about him in several business magazines. He is a ruthless businessperson." One of the employees said in a dramatic way.

"Yeah. He is a bit rude too. Have you noticed he was not even acknowledging our talk properly? He looked disinterested." Another employee said.

"Seems like our bad days have started." Another employee pouted.

"Yes, you people are correct, if you will not do your work then I will complain about you all. Now, everyone get back to your work." Rishi scolded them.

One of the employees murmured, "He is another khadus."

After some time, Priya walked out from the washroom when she realized that she had no other way except facing him. She came to her seat trying to calm down her racing heart.

"Oh, finally madam has come. I told you to be ready to welcome our sir and what you did?" Rishi pondered on her.

"Sorry sir, I am not feeling well." Priya told him.

"If you are not well then stay at home no need to come here. Now that our boss has come, he will teach everyone a good lesson." Rishi mocked at her. Priya ignored him completely knowing his behavior.

"Priya, where were you?" Her colleague asked her.

"I am not feeling well." Priya said to her.

"Are you alright? What happened to you?" She asked.

"I'm fine. Tell me what happened." Priya asked her.

"One of the top most business men Mr Ram Kapoor is our new boss and looks like he is very strict and rude with the employees." Colleague told.

Other side Rishi gave the file to Ram which has all the details of employees along with the project they are handling. Ram took the file and went through it thoroughly. He was only interested in looking at Priya's details. Seeing her name, he grinned evilly.

"Call Priya Kap..." He stopped in the middle.

"Call Priya inside. Ask her to bring Mr. Mehta's project, which she is handling at present." Ram told Rishi.

"Sure Sir." Rishi nodded and left.

Priya was in her own chain of thoughts when her colleague shook her a little.

"What happened, Priya? You look so lost today." Her colleague asked.

"Nothing." Priya was about to say something when Rishi came to them.

"Wah! You people are doing time pass here by chit chatting with each other." Rishi scoffed.

Priya asked, strongly annoyed by his behavior. "Sir, what do you want?"

"I don't want anything. Actually, Ram sir is calling you." Rishi informed Priya.

"Why?" Priya gasped in shock.

"Why means? Can't he call you? He asked you to bring Mr.Mehta file along with you." Rishi said.

"It is not completed yet." Priya replied.

"So what can I do for it? You have to complete your work instead of wasting time gossiping. Now go ma'am he is waiting for you." Rishi jeered at her.

Priya had no courage to face Ram but she understood that she had to face Ram daily. She corrected her sari, collecting the file in one hand, she reached Ram's cabin. Her heart was thumping against her rib cage.

She was standing outside the Ram's cabin. Taking a lung full of air, she knocked on the door.

"Come in." Ram permitted her inside as soon as he looked at her coming towards his cabin.

Priya entered his cabin taking baby steps.

"You called me Ra...Sir." Hearing the word Sir Ram raised his brows. He started scanning her from top to down. Priya was stealing glances from him.

"Where have you disappeared for a long time? Looks like disappearing has become your new and favourite hobby, isn't it?" Ram smirked at her.

Priya closed her eyes knowing the underlying meaning in his talk.

"You cannot escape from me anymore." Coldness in his voice sends chills down her spine. He stood on his feet walking towards her.

Priya turned her gaze meeting his darting eyes.

"Rishi told me that you wanted Mehta's project file?" Priya gulped and wanted to stop the conversation going personal.

Ram smirked at her and shifted the topic to the project.

"Yes, so you are handling Mehta's project?" Ram asked.

"Yes, I'm handling three other projects along with Mehta's." Priya informed him.

"Wow! Seems like your previous boss believes you very much or shall I say you impressed him very well." Ram stated mockingly.

Priya glared at him for his comments on her character.

"Let me go through the file." Ram said.

"Sir, I need to do some more work on this. This is yet to be finished." Priya replied.

"Keep this file on the table and go." Ram ordered.

This time she said nothing she kept the file on his desk and left. Priya felt his eyes pricking on her back as he looked at her retreating figure.

After she left, Ram took the file in hand and went through it. He liked the project report she made, exactly the same way he taught her long back when she used to work along with him. He smiled when he pointed out something he wanted to.

Priya was working on something when Ram reached her desk with the file in his hand. Priya got up from her place seeing him in front of her seat.

"I can't believe this! This is how you people work here. If people make this kind of silly mistake, there is no wonder why the previous owner had to sell this off." He said it glaring at Priya followed by other employees.

"Sir, I already told you that I am yet to finish this work." Priya tried to defend herself.

"If you are unable to complete the work on time then no need to come here. All of you (looking at other employees) I want the work to complete on time. No excuses given...and you Priya please correct this. You need to concentrate more on preparing the project report. You are the lead right. I am surprised that Mr.Tiwari (previous boss) gave you such a big responsibility when you cannot do this small piece of work properly." Ram said venomously.

Priya had tears in her eyes. There was no need to create a scene in front of everyone because of the small issue.

"Please behave like a professional. This is office and here work matters not your fake tears. So, correct the mistakes and submit it by the evening." saying this he left from there.

After he left her colleagues consoled her but Rishi, he was on cloud nine. He hates Priya from the day one because Mr. Tiwari trusted Priya more than him.

"After a long time, someone has shown her place." He said tauntingly. Priya looked at him repulsively.

Priya skipped her lunch and decided to complete the file. Priya knows how minor the mistake is but Ram is making it big in order to insult her in front of everybody.

Ram came out of his cabin and noticed Priya still working on her project.

"So, you are not going for lunch." Ram asked. Priya kept silent hearing him.

"Good for you. You put on a lot of weight. Must be Ved's magic." Priya was controlling herself to not to react to his provoking words.

"Getting angry?" Ram asked as Priya closed her eyes in despair.

"I am happy seeing you like this. This is just the beginning Priya." He grinned at her helplessness.

Her day was nothing less than a roller-coaster ride. She came out from the office fully tired and waiting for Ved to come and pick up her. She wanted to disappear from there as soon as possible.

"Where are you Ved? Please come fast, I'm taking a taxi otherwise." Priya called Ved.

"Arre baba wait, I will be there in five minutes." Ved answered her.

"Come fast." Priya hung up the call.

Ved reached her office entrance within five minutes.

"Where were you? Why did you take so long to reach here?" Priya chided.

"What happened, Priya? I was stuck in the traffic." Ved responded.

She opened the door of the car throwing her bag at the backseat and closed the door with the thud sound.

"Arre baap re. Looks like Madam is angry on someone today. How was your day? How is your new boss?" Hearing Boss word Ram's face came in front of her.

"I will tell you later let's go from here immediately." Priya was desperate to disappear from there as soon as possible.

"Okay Madam. Let's go." Ved accelerated the car and zoomed out from there.

Ram who was watching all this fumed in anger seeing them together.
