Priya opens the door finding Ved.

Priya: - Ved, what's wrong with you?

Ved enter the house finding hard to stand on his feet due to the effect of alchohol.

Priya: - Ved what happened? You are drunk...Priya ask shockingly.

His eyes were red with anger and goes near her making her walk behind.

Ved trips a lot but goes dangerously close to her.

Ved: - Priya I love you...I love you a lot. I am alone I am all alone Priya.

Priya: - Stop it Ved...you are not in your senses that is why you did not understand what you are saying. She moves back while he moves forward to her.

Ved goes near caging her to move further. Priya become frightened.

Priya (shivering):- Ved please...

Ved: - Shhh....Priya and move near her face.

Priya: - What are doing Ved? Please move I am not comfortable.

Ved: - Priya you are alone, I am also all alone....we will go from here. Away from everyone and Ram. I cannot see you with Ram. It kills me whenever I see you with him. You are mine Priya...saying this he held her shoulder

Priya: - Ved please...leave me ....leave me Ved. She pushed him with all her strength.

Ved: - Ram will never love you like I do Priya...and tries to hug her.

Priya: - Please Ved stop it and she push him hardly again. Ved move back but save himself from falling.

Priya: - You are gone mad Ved. You better get lost from here right now otherwise I will call the police and Ram here.

Ved: - Priyaa, I love you.

Priya: - What are you saying Ved? Did I ever give you any hint that I love you? I have always seen you as a good friend.

Ved: - I am sorry Priya but I cannot think of losing you. I love you a lot.

Priya: - Listen to me very clearly Ved....Ram is my life and no matter what happens between us I only love him till my last breath.

Ved tried to come closer to her again when she slapped him hardly on his both cheeks bringing back him to senses.

Krishna from her room hears the conversation happening there tries to move her body but fails to do that because of her condition. She couldn't speak a word otherthan making feeble sounds. She feels so helpless that she is not able to help Priya and tears roll down her eyes.

Her reaction irks him very much that he tried to harm her again.

Priya defended herself pushing him to the floor. Ved hangs his head down coming back to his senses and said nothing.

Riya started crying after getting disturbed from her sound sleep.

Priya: - I thought you were my best friend but after doing this you lost respect. I trusted you all the time since you were there for me in my good and bad time but you proved me completely wrong today.

Ved: - I am sorry Priya. I made a big mistake Priya.

Priya's eyes filled with anger and disgust on him as never ever she thought Ved could stoop so low.

Priya: - Leave from here right now. Don't show your face ever again.

Ved: - Priya, please give me a second chance.

Riya crying unstoppable now.

Priya open the door asking him to leave showing no interest to entertain his actions.

Ved leave the place with no choice left.

Priya shut the door on his face and go to crying Riya to calm her down. She goes to Krishna's room once Riya is fine. She wipes the tears rolling down from Krishna's face and assures her that she is safe and sound.

Ram is continuously trying on Priya's number while driving to her house sensing something might have happened to her. Priya call back to Ram's number seeing numerous calls from him. Ram heaves a deep sigh receiving a call from her.

Ram: - Priya, are you alright?

Priya: - Yes Ram. I am fine.

Ram: - What the hell are you doing?

Priya: - Ramm

Ram: - Tell me what happened to you. Why do you sound like that?

Priya: - Nothing to worry. Everything is fine.

Ram cuts the call abruptly.

Within no time, Ram stand infront of Priya's flat ringing the bell.

Priya open the door finding Ram through peep hole. Ram dashed into the house and finds the mess around in the hall.

Ram checks her and cups her face in his placing a kiss on her forehead.

Ram look into her eyes and says: - Ved?

Priya has tears in her eyes and nods her head in positive and explains what had happened few minutes ago.

Ram: - I am going to finish that bastard today.

He become aggressive and turned to go to Ved when Priya goes and hugs him tightly from behind.

Priya: - Please Ram, don't do anything now. I think he understood his mistake and will never repeat.

Ram turns facing her and takes her into embrace.

Ram: - How could I leave that person alive when he tried to harm my wife?

Priya: - Ram.

Ram turned his ears deaf to her and enter the Ved's apartment furiously.

Giving no time for Ved to react, Ram punched multiple times on his face making him bleed from his nose and wince in pain.

Ram: - How dare you to come close to my Priya? How could you even think of hurting her?

Ram punched him on his stomach.

Ved: - Ram please, I am sorry. I won't do that again and I realized my mistake.

Ram: - I will make sure that you have no future if you even think about coming near her. I will tear you apart get that very clear in your mind. He releases his collar and push him to the wall leaving the place.

In the Priya's apartment,

Ram: - Pack your bags, you are coming with me to our home.

Priya: - I am not coming anywhere.

Ram: - Are you out of your mind? Do you even realize what could have happened to you today?

Priya: - Nothing has happened Ram and I will take extra care from now onwards so don't worry.

Ram: - Why are you so adamant? I can't risk your lives anymore. Don't be stupid now.

Priya: - I don't think Ved can harm me now atleast after your warning to him.

Ram takes a flower vase and hits on the floor with so much aggression.

Priya: - Ramm

Ram: - You don't value me and my words.

Ram leaves the place immideatly.

Next morning,

Priya takes Riya in her arms and tires to calm her but she is continuously crying.

Priya: - What happened baby...why are you crying like this. She tries to give her milk, she sucks for a minute but started crying again.

Priya: - Neetaaa

Neeta comes running finding Riya crying severly.

Neeta: - Can I call Ved sir for help?

Priya: - No Neeta, I will handle her. Give me a glass of water.

Priya pat her back and calm her down. She give water to Riya but she puked everything and again started crying. Priya finds that Riya is having trouble in breathing.

Priya (worriedly):- Neeta, I don't feel right. I need to take her to hospital.

Neeta: - You just change ma'am, I will take care of her till then.

Priya quickly change and book a taxi.

Neeta, please take care of maa. I will inform you if anything is required. Saying this she left.

In the Kapoor mansion,

Ram change into his business suit and comes out. He greets Juhi on the dining table.

Ram: - Good morning Juhi...to which Juhi gave him faint reply Good morning.

Ram: - Juhi I made clear to you...Juhi cuts him in middle

Juhi: - I have no complaints Ram. It's my foolishness and I am sorry because of me you came home late yesterday.

Ram said nothing.

Juhi: - Can you come home early today?

Ram: - Why?

Juhi: - I want to spend time with you like a friend, you can also call Vikram and Neha. We four together like before....it's been ages.

Ram said nothing before leaving.

Juhi is completely pissed off with Ram's behavior as all her efforts are going in vain.

On the way,

Ram lost in random thoughts about the things happening around in his life all these days.

Ram (thinks): - I guess Priya will not come to office today. Let me go and pick her up today and find out who is the old lady staying in Priya's house. I completely forgot about that matter these days. If Priya and Ved are not together then there are very less chances that she could be Ved's mother. And she is not Priya's mother as well as Shipra Ji is staying with Ayesha currently. Then who else it could be?

It is waste of time asking Priya about anything knowing that she will not disclose anything. I myself has to unfold the truth.

He accelerated the car and heading towards Priya's home when he received a call from Priya.

Ram: - Hello Priya, Good morning. I am coming to...

Ram stops in the middle when he hear Priya's voice cracking due to crying.

Ram quickly stopped the car by the side of the road.

Ram: - Priyaaa? Why are you crying?

Priya: - Ramm... Riya...

Ram: - What happened to Riya?

Priya: - Riya is not well. Please come to City hospital immediately.

Ram: - What??? I am coming in few minutes you stay strong.

Ram zoomed off the car to the hospital hearing Riya's condition.

In the hospital,

Doctor: - Baby is breathing abnormally, we should give her nebulization now.

Priya had tears...Is she alright?

Doctor: - She will be fine after giving nebulization. Since she has breathing problem from the beginning, you might need to repeat this process whenever needed. Don't worry she will be alright as she is in initial stage only and it can be cured with the time.

Priya becomes worried.

Nurse: - Ma'am I want some details.

Priya: - yess

Nurse: - Patient name

Priya: - Riya

Nurse: - full name

Priya stop...Nurse again ask...Madam Baby's full name

Priya swallow a lump and murmur...Riya...Riya Sha... she hear a voice from behind..."RIYA KAPOOR".

Priya turn back shockingly.

Nurse: - Father name

Ram: - Ram Kapoor. He says looking at Priya constantly.

Nurse left collecting the required information.

Ram: - What happened to Riya? How is she now?

Priya: - She was having breathing problem. She is fine now.

Before he say anything Nurse came with Riya. Nurse guided Priya to place Riya carefully on her laps and connect the hose to the compressor. She fill the medicine, attach the mouthpiece on Riya mouth and left after starting the nebulization machine.

Priya and Ram are feeling bad seeing Riya like that. He takes her hand in him and caresses her assuring her she will be alright. Both are remained silent.

After fifteen-twenty minutes Doctor and nurse came back to turn off the machine. Ram picks Riya in his arms.

Doctor: - Riya is fine now, come with her again in the evening. We have to continue this procedure for three more days. You can do the same process at home also if you have nebulizer.

Ram: - Yes doctor, we will give her at home.

Doctor: - Don't feed her anything for half an hour.

Ram: - yes doctor

Doctor: - Give her the prescribed medicines.

Raya at Priya's apartment,

Priya: - Thank you Ram. He looks at her annoyingly.

Ram: - For your kind information, I know Riya is my daughter and it is my responsibility to take care of her.

Ram carries her Riya in hands and moves to and fro in the house making her sleep for sometime.

Priya in low voice: - Meanwhile I will cook something for us. Have you had anything since morning?

Ram: - No.

Priya: - Let me prepare quickly.

Priya prepares lunch while Ram is taking care of Riya.

Ram: - Oops!!!

Priya: - What happened?

Ram: - I think we need to change her diaper.

Priya: - Give her to me. I will change.

Ram: - No, you carry on. Let me do it for her.

Ram places Riya on her cradle, cleans her body gently with wipes and change her diaper.

After sometime,

Priya: - Ram, come let's have lunch. Put her in the cradle she is sleeping.

Riya started crying as soon as Ram leaves her.

Ram: - I think you also didn't have anything since morning so you have it, I will have later.

Priya: - No, give her to me. You have the food.

Ram: - Priyaa! I told you I will have later. Riya is not well I cannot just leave her in the cradle like that. Let me hold her in my arms and I will feel safe too.

Priya comes to him with food in the plate.

Ram: - Priyaaa, I told you... before he completes Priya tore a piece of Roti with curry and feeds Ram.

Ram is bit taken back by her sudden reaction and have the food silently. He remembers how Priya used to feed him whenever he skip the food. Ram signals her to have the food too.

She also have few bites in between from the same plate while feeding him. Both of their eyes filled with tears remembering their good old days and the unwanted things happening around them now.

Priya: - You can go to the office, I will take care of her.

Ram: - I am not going anywhere.

Priya: - Ram!!! He shot his eyes on her and she kept quiet.

Ram lay Riya on his chest and pat her back. He did not even let her to lay on the bed otherthan giving her to Priya for feeding.

Priya (to neeta):- Don't take maa out of the room under any circumstances.
