A couple of days later,

Neha reached Kapoor Mansion and met Dadi in the living room. Neha informed that Ram has asked her to come home.

Meanwhile, Ram walked down the stairs in his business suit.

Dadi & Neha were shocked to see Ram in his formal attire since he was not going to office for quite some time.

"Golu, are you going to the office today?" Dadi asked.

"Yes, Dadi." Ram replied.

Ram looked at Neha and asked, "Neha, can you please take care of the kids for a few days until I appoint a caretaker for them?"

"Sure! Why don't you take some time out from work? You can resume your office when you feel better." Neha suggested.

"Nothing happened to me. I don't need any time to feel better. I am perfectly alright." Ram said.

"Ram, we have known each other for a long time now." Neha stated.

Ram couldn't look straight into her eyes and deny Neha.

Instead, he shouted calling Bansi Kaka's name. "Bansi Kaka!!!!"

Bansi Kaka came running to Ram. "Yes, sir."

"I want you to clear everything related to that lady. I don't want to see any pictures of her in this house." Ram ordered in a serious tone.

Hearing this, Dadi started crying.

"Are you crazy? You cannot remove Priya's traces completely." Neha asked.

"Obviously, I can." Ram said, strongly.

"What about the kids? There are yours and Priya's." Neha said.

Ram looked angrily at Neha and said, "Don't ever take her name in front of me. Kids are only mine, just mine!"

Neha was a bit taken back seeing angry Ram.

Dadi was upset to see Ram's anger and she felt really bad that Priya left Ram & kids like this.

Dadi & Neha are well aware of Ram's behavior and they understand that he is doing all this to hide his pain.

"What is happening in this house, Neha? It was Krishna before and Priya now. I don't know whose evil eyes are on us." Dadi felt bad in front of Neha and she tried to console her.

Ram stepped out of his car and walked straight inside his office building. The security persons and his other employees greeted him but he paid no attention to them.

Most of the employees were shocked to see him in the office so early after the recent incidents.

As he walked straight towards his cabin, he could hear some noises of a few employees who were whispering about his wife and the rumors floating around.

Ram stopped in his tracks and turned around to look for those employees. Employees stayed silent earning a stern look from him.

"Are you here to work or gossip around?" Ram yelled at them.

"Sorry, sir." The employee said in a low voice, hearing Ram.

"All of you, I need the weekly reports on my desk in 30 minutes!" Ram said sternly.

Everybody got back to their seats and resumed their work without wasting any time.

Ram was back to his ruthless mode and showing his anger on his staff for minute mistakes as well.

Ram engrossed himself in work when Vikram entered his cabin.

"Are you alright, Ram?" Vikram asked, grabbing Ram's attention.

"Yes, why not? Looks like we have a lot of pending stuff to deal with." Ram said, closing the file before facing Vikram.

"Stop acting in front of me. What's running in your mind?" Vikram said, crossing his arms.

"Nothing! Nothing at all." Ram rebuked.

"Oh, seriously?" Vikram countered.

Ram got pissed off and stood up from his place. "What are you trying to say? I should sit at home and cry all day for the person who left me." Ram yelled at him.

"Ram, don't try to hide your pain from me." Vikram said.

"Vikram, don't test my patience." Ram said.

"I know you are very upset about Priya. I told you that we can verify the details from where we received the letter. Somehow, we can try finding Priya." Vikram suggested.

"Are you out of your mind or trying to poke me like everyone else?" Ram was not at all impressed with Vikram's suggestion.

"At least we can find something." Vikram said.

"What is the use of finding anything about her? Did you even realize that she doesn't want to stay with me anymore? Even if I trace her, do you want me to force and take her back home when she's clearly not interested? According to her, she was living with me in a golden cage. Don't you think she will try to go away next time? She doesn't even care for anyone else, not even our kids." Ram's eyes were red.

He quickly composed his emotions and moved towards the window, looking outside the busy city.

Vikram remained silent not knowing what to do.

"I even asked the Police to stop investigating this matter. I don't even want to hear about her, not even her name from now onwards." Ram said, strictly.

Vikram nodded without having much to say. He knew Ram was trying to act normal but he's not. Vikram knew very well how Ram must be battling his emotions inside.

"One more thing, an advertisement has been posted for hiring a nanny/caretaker for the kids. Can you please help me with that?" Ram asked.

"Sure." Vikram nodded.

The spark in Ram's eyes was missing now. He was trying to make himself strong after whatever happened. His love for Priya was turning into hatred with each passing moment.

On the other side,

Priya had to move out of the city as per Niharika's condition. She was dying inside for leaving Ram & kids behind and moving away from them.

She doesn't even know if she could ever meet her family ever again. Her kids were so small and she wondered if they could ever remember her face once they grew up.

Her eyes welled up as the car was moving away from the city.

She has no clue where to go. She doesn't have a reason to live but at least she wanted to get her mother-in-law away from Niharika's capture. She decided to look after her mother-in-law.

Niharika received the information that Ram was looking for a caretaker for his kids and she told Juhi to be ready and enter the Kapoor Mansion as a caretaker for the kids.

Niharika & Siddhant managed to do every possible thing to send Juhi into the Kapoor Mansion. They did not leave any stone unturned to achieve what they wanted.

Priya's condition was much worse as she didn't know where to go and what to do. She's emotionally and physically drowned. The first thing she did was to find out where Krishna was kept and met her finally.

Krishna was bed-ridden and cannot speak due to paralysis.

Looking at the scars on Krishna's body, Priya remembered Niharika's words.

When Priya asked about KK's condition, Niharika said that they had been given strong electric shocks when they kept KK captive. Niharika warned Priya that they can go to any extent to harm her and her family if she doesn't obey their conditions. Priya realized how cruel they are!

Priya felt really bad seeing Krishna as Niharika & Siddhant kept her in captivity so mercilessly and made everyone believe that Krishna betrayed her family.

Priya has no way other than selling off her jewelry to get some money to take Krishna to the hospital and look for accommodation.

Doctor told her that Krishna's condition can be cured with proper medication & treatment but it will take some time. Priya felt a slight relief hearing that and she admitted Krishna in the hospital.

Priya was missing Ram every second as her day used to start and end with him only. She was unknowingly dependent on Ram very much and that was making it hard for her to do anything without him. There was not a single day passed without Priya thinking about her kids & Ram.

Whenever Priya met Krishna in the hospital, she used to share her pain with her mother-in-law. Priya has only Krishna with whom she can share her feelings and cry her heart out. Even though Krishna can't speak she heard everything Priya told and felt extremely helpless as she cannot even console her daughter-in-law.

Priya was not eating properly and just sitting idle lost in the deep thoughts. She had dark circles and looked very pale. She's in depression and not able to do anything. She has no other reason to live without Ram & kids. She's just holding on her life to take care of Krishna since she has taken her responsibility.

While walking in the hospital's corridor, Priya's head was spinning like anything and she fainted.

A person had noticed her and came for help.

After some time, Priya opened her eyes and was a bit worried being on the hospital bed.

She tried to stand up from the bed when someone interrupted her.

"Hello! Please take some rest." The same person had said.

"Who are you? What happened to me?" Priya asked confusedly.

"I am Ved Saxena. You fainted just a while ago and I happened to notice that so ...." Ved replied.

"Thank you so much!" Priya said faintly.

"Your name?" Ved asked.

"Priya K... Priya Sharma." Priya corrected herself. Ved nodded.

"By the way, congratulations to you." Ved said excitedly.

"For?" Priya asked with a confused frown.

"Congratulations for being pregnant. I hope I am not the first person telling you this wonderful news." Ved said hesitatingly. Ved got to know that from the Doctor who checked Priya when she fainted.

Priya's eyes welled up with tears and she couldn't control her emotions. Already she's on edge of emotions and with this revelation, she couldn't hold back herself. She started sobbing uncontrollably holding her face in her hands.

Ved was taken aback seeing her reaction.

"What ... happened? Why are you crying?" Ved has no clue.

After a couple of minutes, Priya composed her emotions. "Nothing. Thank you for your help once again." Priya replied.

Looking at Priya's condition, Ved thought she must be going through something really bad.

Priya's eyes welled up with tears as she was miserable that she cannot share her happiness with her Ram. Ram wouldn't even be able to know that she's pregnant with his child.

She recollected how much Ram wanted a baby girl. Destiny was playing cruel games with her.

She wanted to be with her man when she found out the good news. Ram would have been on cloud nine if he came to know about her pregnancy.

Priya caressed her tummy, looking into the mirror. She didn't even know how to react.

Things could be more difficult for her both financially and personally. She would have to handle her pregnancy and a bed-ridden old lady. This could be risky but she wanted to go ahead with pregnancy no matter what.

Maybe God was giving her a reason to live after all the bad things happened in her life, she thought.

Priya used to go to hospital for Krishna regularly and there she met Ved again along with his wife. Ved noticed that Priya was going through tough times in her life. He really wanted to help her and used to check on her on a regular basis as a friend. Priya struggled hard to believe anyone after what happened with her but she found him genuine as the days passed.

Slowly, Priya shared her condition with Ved and he really helped her come out of the depression by motivating her.

After a few days, Priya got a small job with the help of Ved. If Ved had not helped her, Priya wouldn't have succeeded in battling with her depression. Priya shifted her place and they used to stay in the same apartment. Ved had helped a lot during her tough times. He has become a good friend to her as he used to motivate her to deal with her problems and come out of her misery.

Each passing day was difficult for Priya, she was missing Ram very badly as her tummy grew gradually.

Ram took care of her like a Queen when she was pregnant with twins. This time her king was missing and her kingdom as well. Not that she's used to luxuries but her world revolves around Ram. For her, Ram is her King of her heart and their place is her kingdom.

Finally, Juhi was able to clear the verification and was appointed as a caretaker for kids. Niharika & Siddhant along with Juhi celebrated their success.

Ram did not know what's in store for them as Juhi stepped inside the Kapoor Mansion.
