Bansi Kaka knocked Ram's door and waited for Ram to open the door. Ram was lost in his own world and didn't even realize that someone knocked on the door. Bansi Kaka waited for a few seconds before knocking again.

Ram came out of his thoughts with a loud knock on the door.

Ram was not in his usual self with his messy hair and stubble beard. He was slowly losing hope of finding his wife and turning into an alcoholic & chain smoker.

After a few seconds, Ram walked to the door and opened it to find Bansi Kaka standing with an envelope in his hands.

Room was filled with a strong smell of alcohol.

"What is it, Kaka?" Ram asked faintly.

"Sir, we received a letter on your name." Kaka said, forwarding an envelope to Ram.

Ram was disinterested to check any letters at this time but took it in his hands before shutting the door.

He casually kept the letter on the table and made himself one more glass of whiskey.

While gulping down the drink, his eyes fell on the letter and a sudden thought entered into his mind to open it. He kept his glass back on the table before picking up the envelope in his hands.

An unknown fear creeped in his brain when Ram glanced at Priya's handwriting on the envelope.

Without any further delay, Ram quickly tore the envelope and opened the letter. His restlessness grew each second.

He started to read the letter and his hands started to shiver.

Upon reading the letter, Ram's eyes filled with tears of anguish while gritting teeth out of anger.

He couldn't believe what he read from the letter.

Ram was sure enough that the handwriting is definitely Priya's but he was unable to digest any word written in that letter.

How can Priya betray him like this? This was the constant thought running through his mind.

Ram's blood boiled while reading Priya's words. Priya mentioned that she cannot live her life in a golden cage. The letter says she wants freedom and wants to spend the rest of her life with her boyfriend, Sanjay. She also mentioned that she lied and cheated him using Shivani's name.  She used that name to hide about Sanjay. She wrote that she loves Ram & her kids but she had to choose her own life over her family for her sanity. She concluded saying she wants to live her life on her terms not on her husband's terms. She ended the letter saying Sorry.

Letter slipped away from his hands as he read the end of it.

His eyes were shut in anguish and tears of agony slipped out of his eyes.

Soon, his nose flared in anger, deep hurt and humiliation.

"Why Priya? Why?" saying this he ran his hand on his head while gripping his hair out of frustration.

"How can you end our relationship just so easily, Priya?" He grabbed a vase from the table and smashed it.

His rage shot to the peak and he threw everything away. He walked back and forth like a maniac as he cannot bear whatever he just read from the letter.

Every corner in the room was reminding him of their lovely moments. He thought everything was alright between them but why did she leave him? This thought stirred him completely.

"How could you do this to me?" He gritted his teeth in anger and smashed whatever he got hold of.

He couldn't look himself in the mirror.

Flashes of their blissful moments hovered in his mind. All he could think was him holding her from behind whenever Priya used to get ready in front of the very same mirror.

He couldn't take the mere thought or glimpse of Priya getting close to the other man. Grabbing something in his hand, he threw it on the mirror breaking it into several pieces.

Hearing the loud noises coming out of the room, Dadi came to Ram's room in a hurry.

Dadi & Bansi Kaka knocked on the door asking Ram to open it.

"Golu, what's wrong with you? Why are you doing this? Please open the door." Dadi cried.

"Please leave me alone." Ram roared inside the room.

"What happened, Golu? We will find Priya soon, don't worry." Dadi tried to console him not knowing about Priya's letter.

"No, we won't be able to find her, Dadi. Priya cheated me. She left me for someone else." Ram cried in pain.

"What are you talking about?" Dadi asked out of shock.

"No, this can't be true." Dadi stuttered.

"This is very much true. That's Priya's handwriting and I am sure about it." Ram replied.

"Please open the door, Golu." Dadi pleaded.

"Leave me alone." Ram shouted.

Dadi tried to talk to Ram but he was not ready. Dadi called Vikram and informed everything.

All they could hear was constant noises coming out of Ram's room. He was showing his anger by smashing everything in his room.

Upon learning about the letter, Vikram & Neha reached Ram's place to be around him.

Ram had locked himself in his room, not letting anyone inside.

Vikram and Neha tried to talk to him and console him but he didn't even meet them.

After some time, Vikram stood outside Ram's room and called him.

"Ram, please open the door. I know it's hard for you but let's think properly. Let's find out if it's really Priya who sent the letter. Let me see if I can get any help with the address and all." Vikram tried to convince him.

"Ram, come on, don't punish yourself like this. Please open the door." Neha joined.

Ram didn't budge.

"Think about your kids, they are so small and they need you by their side. You can't just lock yourself like this." Neha added.

After a few seconds, Ram slowly opened the door.

Vikram & Neha were shocked to see his state. Blood was oozing out of Ram's hand as a sharp glass piece was pierced into his skin.

Blood drops were dropping from his fingertips and he was not even worried about it. It looks like he doesn't even feel anything.

Neha quickly ran to get the first aid done.

"Are you insane, Ram?" Vikram flinched.

Neha cleaned the wound and completed the first-aid. Ram didn't even flinch while she was doing it.

"Where is the letter? I will see if we can get any information out of it." Vikram said.

"There is no use. I am sure that's Priya's handwriting." Ram said, looking nowhere in particular.

"What did she write in the letter?" Neha asked.

Ram smirked faintly and said, "She cannot live in a golden cage anymore so she left with her boyfriend."

"What?!" Neha & Vikram were stunned.

"Forget about me, I am shocked that Priya didn't even think about our kids before taking such a drastic step!" Ram wondered.

Neha & Vikram looked at each other, feeling bad for their friend.

On the other hand,

Priya thought she can't just sit here and whine all day. She decided to do something to get out of here.

Suddenly, Priya was feeling nausea and ran into the washroom. She vomited and felt dizzy for quite some time.

Gathering some courage, she was trying to find a way to escape from that place.

Just then she heard a sound, a servant came with the food and opened the door.

As soon as he entered the room, he got suspicious of not finding Priya.

He turned around when doors got shut only to realize that Priya marched out of the door locking him inside.

That man started shouting while banging on the door.

Priya came out of the room swiftly and was clueless where she was. The place was unknown to her but she cannot wait wondering about it.

All she wanted to do was to escape out of this place and away from Niharika & her gang at any cost.

Priya looked here and there to find a way out. She reached the main door and struggled to open it. The door was locked and she was searching for a way to open it.

Priya became restless as she cannot miss the opportunity to escape this hell.

"Need help, Bhabhi?" Priya jerked lightly hearing Siddhant's voice.

Slowly she turned back to see Siddhant walking towards her with a wicked smile on his face. Siddhant was waving at her with keys in his hand.

"Please let me go!" Priya pleaded as she was caught.

Niharika laughed evilly and got hold of her hand. "You cannot escape from us. Come inside, darling!" Niharika sarcastically said.

Priya tried to wriggle her hand but Niharika dragged her along to another room.

"What else do you need? I even wrote a letter like the way you asked, please let me go now." Priya pleaded.

"Sure, why not? I can't trouble my sweet daughter-in-law. I will definitely let you go but before that, let me show you something." Saying this Niharika pulled out her phone and opened the gallery to show something to Priya.

Priya was shocked to see the images on the mobile screen.

"She is...." Priya stuttered, looking blankly at her.

"Yes, she is your mother-in-law, Mrs. Krishna Kapoor." Niharika said.

"How come she is with you? What did you do to her?" Priya asked. She was clueless on what they did to her mother-in-law. Krishna was on the hospital bed looking so pale.

"Would you like to meet your actual mother-in-law?" Niharika asked.

"What's going on?" Priya asked.

"Whatever is happening with you has happened with your mother-in-law in the past. But your case was a bit different as we had to plan and plot a lot of things to make everyone believe that you ran away with your boyfriend. In your mother-in-law's case, I just had to cook up some stories to Mr. Amarnath Kapoor since he was already under my control. It was easy for me then but I must admit that we succeeded in your case as well." Niharika said proudly.

Priya was shocked to learn the truth.

"Ram hated his mother like anything and I think he still hates her, doesn't he?" Niharika asked mockingly.

A lot of thoughts started to disturb her mind. They made Ram and everyone believe what they wanted and the things might repeat in her case as well.

"Ram would hate her like his mother." The thought unsettled her mind & heart. She cannot bear a mere thought of Ram's hatred for her.

Priya realized that these people can stoop so low to achieve what they want. She framed her mother-in-law and now her!

She gulped a lump down her throat, fearing about her current situation.

"We will release you from here but on a few conditions." Niharika said, breaking Priya's trance.

Priya looked at her and asked, "What are they?"

"You are not supposed to meet Ram, kids or anyone from your family. We will have a close watch on your every moment. If you ever tried to come near your family then that would be the last day for your kids." Niharika said.

Priya was rooted to her spot.

"Yes, you heard me right. By now you must be aware that we can do anything." Niharika had a wicked smile.

"Don't even dare to even lay a finger on my kids." Priya cannot bear it.

"You cannot do anything, Priya. As soon as you try to meet your family or friends, we will kill your mother-in-law and kids mercilessly. Poor Krishna, she's already going through a lot. Do you want to see her die?" Niharika asked.

"How long are you going to keep me in your capture? Why are you doing all these to us? If you are doing all these for property then I will convince Ram to give you everything. Take whatever you want but please leave us peacefully." Priya asked.

"We are not just doing these for money, we will take it anyway. The most important thing for us is to see you guys suffer life-long. That's what gives us a kick!" Siddhant said in a sadistic manner.

"It's our payback time. Ram had kicked us out of the Kapoor Mansion and Industries. We will be happy to see him suffer being away from his loved ones." Niharika said.

"Don't do this to us." Priya said.

"Priya, you have only two choices. Either you go somewhere away from your family & friends where no one knows you or go to your Ram only if you are ready to sacrifice your Ram, kids & mother-in-law." Niharika said casually.

"If you don't believe us then we can show a sample of what we can do. Do you want to witness it? Just a phone call and your mother-in-law will breathe her last and then followed by your kids and then...." Niharika continued to say but Priya interrupted her.

"Stop it." Priya screamed.

"Everything is in your hands, Priya. Decide what you want and let us know quickly. We don't have a whole day." Niharika said.

Priya shut her eyes tightly and said, "What should I do to keep my family safe?"

"I know you are smart enough to make a wise decision!" Niharika said.

"All you have to do is leave Mumbai instantly and do not try to meet Ram, kids or anyone you know. Do not try to come back ever again. You will be under our surveillance all the time. One wrong move can cost your loved one's lives. So be careful about your existence." Siddhant & Niharika told her.

Tears rolled out her eyes but she had to take this decision otherwise Niharika & Siddhant could go to any level to destroy her family.

"Are you ready for it?" Niharika asked.

Her heart was wrenching while nodding her head in affirmation.

"Say it out, darling." Niharika mocked.

"Ye...s!!!" Priya's voice choked.

"Where is my mother-in-law? I want to take her along with me." Priya asked.

"Why? Don't you understand what we just said?" Siddhant was pissed off.

"What is the problem if I stay with her? At least let me take care of her." Priya asked.

Niharika thought for a moment and stopped Siddhant who was going to deny Priya.

"Okay, you can do that." Niharika agreed.

"Mom, what are you saying?" Siddhant asked.

"It's a waste of money and time for us. Let her deal with it. There is no harm for us." Niharika said.

"Let me tell you, if you ever tried to be over smart with us then you know what we can do with your loved ones." Niharika warned Priya.

Priya nodded in agreement.

"Well, that's it for now." Niharika laughed in a wicked manner.
