Sara's POV:

I was so shocked. Why the hell is he texting me?

Me: Don't call me that.

Wali: Why, lilo?

Me: Just don't call me that and don't text me.

Wali: Angry for 3 years?

Me: No, I really don't want to talk to you. Bye.

After keeping my phone away, i couldn't help but think, Why is he suddenly texting me? We were best friends, but now, I hate him.

With that, I went back to my room. My alarm was ringing, I turned it off and went to bathroom. I did my ablution, came to my room and started the prayer. After finishing the prayer, I did my dua and went back to sleep.

It was 7 in the morning and I woke up to my phone's ringing. What is it? Who wants what now? Maybe it's Amara. She always has a habit of calling me early in the morning.

I picked my phone, without checking the caller ID, I asked, "What do you want now, Amara? I'm coming to college today."

The voice on the other side was unexpected, "Hi Lilo, still sleeping? Very bad."

I didnt realize when I rolled down from my bed and fell on the floor. But I really can't understand what he wants from me?!

I asked, "Why are you irritating me? What do you want, Wali?

But there was no response from him. This was expected from you, Wali.

"I said don't call me and I mean it," I gritted through my teeth and hang up the call.

It's 7:45 now. I went to bathroom, took bath and was ready to go down. I picked all my stuff, locked my room and went down. I greeted everyone and started eating my breakfast.

Mama was happy. When I asked for the reason, she said it's a surprise.

"What surprise, mama? Tell me, please."

Mama said, "Ask your father."

"Papa, tell me na, please?"

"Maheen aunty and Junaid uncle are coming home," papa replied.

"Seriously, papa?"

I was on cloud nine. Yes, I was that happy because I'll be meeting my best friend Arbil, uncle and aunty.

Papa asked bhai whether Wali is coming or not. He replied, "I don't know, papa. Wali didn't text me."

I was glad thinking he's not coming.

I asked mama when they will be coming to which she said, "They'll be reaching home in 10 minutesm"

Door bell rang..! Papa went to open the door. He was so happy seeing his best friend that tears rolled down from his cheeks and uncle's too.

They were hugging each other. It's the best moment in the world. When you meet your best friend after so many years.

Mama and Maheen aunty were crying too and wiping their tears. I greeted uncle and aunty and said, "I'm getting late for my college. Will catch you in the evening."

With that, I came out from the living room. I was thanking Allah for I haven't seen him yet.

I said salaam to everyone and went outside the house hurriedly ecause my brother was calling me, "Sara, are you coming or not?"

I ran hurriedly and instantly regretted when I tripped on my abaya. I was about to fall but I was saved.

I thought it's my brother and I said, "Thank you, bhai."

"You're welcome. But I'm not your brother."

What?

I looked up. Jisse na dekhne par khushi mil raha tha, usse yahin samne khada paya! (I was relieved when I didn't see him but now, I found him right here in front of me!)

I said, "Thanks, Wali."

I was about to go when he said, "Wow! You know my name. That's strange."

I said, "Yes, I remember, stitch."

He frowned, "Don't call me that."

"If you don't want to hear that name, then stop calling me lilo. Okay. Bye, stitch."

He was looking annoyed and I was enjoying it. I faked a smile and went near the car.

He said, "Bye, lilo. Have a safe journey." I looked at him and I was so annoyed that I could kill him but I controlled myself and sat in the car.
