Origin of a Mad Woman
"Why don't you go take a swan dive off the roof, and pray for a better quirk in your next life!" The Voice of the person she thought she could trust years ago said to her. Izuku's eyes widened. Her green eyes filling with tears.
Bakugou Katsuki had promptly left the room after that. He tch'ed as he began walking downstairs. Izuku cried at that. Was she that useless that people wouldn't even look her way when she's in trouble.
However, she wasn't that weak. She wanted to prove to everyone that she was good for something. She sighed to herself and decided to head home. She was walking around the familiar streets and passed by some familiar people.
"Don't go near her. She might infect you with her quirklessness." "Why is she even alive? She should've been dead a long time ago with how defenseless she is." "Does she really think she can be a hero without a quirk?" The usual insults shot through her mental wellbeing, full force.
They don't really care about her, do they? Izuku sighed and decided to go to the bridge. She arrived there in a couple of minutes. The pungency if the garbage would make anybody run away but Izuku did not mind one bit.
She sighed and sat in the side, leaving herself to her own thoughts, leaving herself vulnerable to a threat lurking behind her. "Well well well! A new fleshsuit! A pretty one at that." A voice said behind her.
Green sludge suddenly wrapped around her. She suddenly lost the ability to breathe as her eyes widened. She struggled to get out but each movement fatigued her more and more. "Just give up, girly~! You'll never escape my grasps." He cackled.
Izuku's eyes suddenly felt heavy and she felt herself drifting to unconsciousness. The last thing she heard was a very deep voice, yelling. "Texas SMASH!"
Rabbits, Dormouse and a Hatter are now preparing tea and tarts. (In other words. Time Skip)
Izuku felt someone slapping her gently. She obviously knew that they were waking her up. Her eyes fluttered open and she was face to face with the Symbol of Peace. Startled, she backed away. "Young lady, are you alright?" The Pro hero inquired.
Izuku looked around and saw that she was still alive. "I'm alive?! But how?" She muttered, clutching at different parts of her body, making sure that she was still in one piece. "You're alive, because I AM HERE!" All might struck a pose when he said that.
"All Might?!" She yelped in surprise. "Don't worry! The Villain has been taken care of! Now if you don't mind, i'll be off to turn him in." All Might said, preparing to leave, but Izuku stopped him.
"W-wait! Can i at least, ask you a question?" She requested. All Might stopped and faced her with his usual grin. "Why of course! Fire Away!" He said. Izuku prepared herself to ask the biggest question in her life.
"Can a quirkless girl like me...become a hero?" She asked, eyes a mixture of Hope and Despair. All Might was silent, deep in thought. "...no. Sorry, but quirkless don't have the capabilities if being a hero. If you want to help others, you can be a doctor, or a police." All Might answered and promptly left.
Izuku sat there, processing the words her idol had said to her. When she finally regained her senses, she cried. Tears of Despair dripped down her pale face on onto her chin. Her idol had crushed her very dream. She shakily stood up and scowled.
"I will prove them all wrong." She pledged to herself. Then something caught her eye. Something was glowing underneath a pile of garbage. It was a knife. It glowed brightly under the rays of the sun and the vine pattern that was engraved stood out.
It's handle appeared to be made if leather and it was clean despite being in garbage. Izuku took it and admired the blade more closely.
Izuku hid it in her backpack and headed home. She was walking with a determined beat in her step. "I will prove them all wrong." She said again. She kept walking and saw a commotion. She rushed to it and heard explosions from inside.
She pushed through the crowd, determined to get to the front and see what's going on. What she saw was very incredulous to her. It was Bakugou, attacked by the same sludge villain that attacked her before.
Pro-Heroes were trying to get close but the explosions made it harder to do so. "It's no use! We need someone with a more suitable quirk!" Death Arms said. Those words made her mad. "These guys are even more useless than i am!" She said to herself.
She went to her backpack and grabbed the knife she obtained earlier. She passed through the crowd and approached the villain. "You again? Well, nobody's saving my new flesh suit, missy!" It mocked. Bakugou still remained struggling in his slimy grasp.
Izuku's eyes were unyielding, and she remained silent. She then pounced on the villain. She sliced through the sludge, which caused it to steam. "Ow! What the hell was that?!" It complained. Izuku looked at the blade and at the villain with a sinister smile.
She lunged forward and sliced the sludge's eyes, causing it to wail. She sliced and stabbed, reducing the sludge into a mere fat man. The man was groaning in pain while Bakugou was looking at Izuku in shock.
Izuku sighed and put the weapon back into her bag. She was about to walk away when the Pro-Heroes stopped her. "That was a very dangerous thing to do, young lady! You could've been killed! And young man, you have a very powerful quirk. You could make a great hero."
Izuku stiffened up at that. Her eyes blazed with anger. "At least i did something to save someone while you guys couldn't— no. Weren't doing anything! You were just standing around just because your quirks aren't suitable? Why couldn't you heroes find a way to save him?" She pointed out.
The Pro-Heroes were silent. "Look at me. A quirkless girl, did something that you Pro-Heroes couldn't do!" She yelled. "I didn't need your damn help Deku!" Bakugou yelled which earned him a slap from Izuku.
"As for you, do you really think you can be a hero with that attitude of yours? Your violent. You're prideful. You're abusive! Did you even consider my feelings all those times you hurt me?!" She yelled at him, crying.
"Who cares about that!? You're quirkless! You shouldn't be alive!" Bakugou yelled before his eyes widened, realizing that he was being watched by hundreds of spectators. Izuku was silent, and stared at Bakugou. Her eyes seemed to pierce into his very soul.
"Is this what heroes have become? Violent, brash, abusive?" She said to herself as she walked away. The Heroes weren't sure what to do. She felt really good after that, letting it all out of her chest. When she neared her house, however, what she saw would haunt her for the rest of her life.
"Mom!" She yelled. Her mother was outside, bleeding in multiple area's and had several burns. Their house was ablaze, no doubt the source if the burns. She heard noises of a battle and saw Endeavor fighting a villain, without a care for their surroundings.
She dragged her mother away from the chaos, and said. "Mom, are you there? Please Say Something!" She pleaded to her. Her mother weakly looked at her and smiled. "D-don't worry Dear. Mommy's alright. Just a little tired is all." She tried to reassure her.
Izuku clutched her mother and hugged her tight. "Don't worry mom. I'll call an ambulance, i'll call the police, just please...stay with me!" She begged. Her mother caressed her face. "Don't worry, Izuku...i love you." She said, and she never moved again. Her dikted eyes indicate the truth. She is dead.
Izuku cried harder at this. Her tears, staining the charred clothes of her now deceased mother. She then began laughing. She laughed harder than ever in her life. "Haha...hahaha...HAhAhhhajHahhHahHahahahHahahHhahahahHhah!!!" She laughed.
Her mental health took a dive and she stood up. Facing her dead mother. "Don't worry mom. Everything is gonna be alright. I'll make sure that they'll pay."
