Kimido sat in front of a guy who was blindfolded and gagged.

"Kai!"

The ninja stirred a bit before opening his eyes to the sight of Kimido's dark red eyes,"So, now your awake."

"Who are you?" The ninja narrowed his eyes, he did not trust this man.

Kimido stands up,"That is not your concern. I need answers."

"What do you want to know?"

"General things," Kimido says, locking eyes with the man,"Your name, your age, what village are you from, you know."

The man sighed heavily,"My name is Gaara No Sabaku."

Kimido nodded, perfect, it was the Jinchuriki they were looking for.

"Alright," Kimido slowly proceeded to walk out of the room,"We'll have you out of here soon."

Kimido passed by Tobi, whispering quietly,"It's him."

Tobi nodded,"Tobi understands, bring him to the extraction room. Get ready to move... The reign starts now."

"We've got to get him back, Baa-chan!" Naruto shouts, angrily pacing round the Hokage's office, hands in his hair.

Tsunade glares at him,"Leave it to the ANBU, Naruto."

Sakura places a hand on Naruto's shoulder, making him flinch from the sudden contact.

"Naruto," she whispered softly, making him turn to look into her eyes,"I don't want to see you getting hurt anymore."

Naruto held her arms tightly, shaking her with every word he said,"Don't you get it?! His pain, suffering, I never want to see anyone go through what I had gone through, Sakura. You had everything given to you, a perfect life, while me and Gaara were thrown away, left to eat the garbage and leftovers people had."

Naruto had a waterfall down his face as he looked at Sakura's tear-stained face.

"Everyday, people would give me glares of hatred and beat me 'till I couldn't breath. But, I still held on, thinking that somewhere at the end of the beatings and horrors, was relief, love and my dream... Of being Hokage. Look at me now, crying and broken in front of you, not being Hokage."

Naruto gave a low, sad chuckle,"I guess we aren't what we all think we're gonna be."

Sakura hugged him and poured all the hope and love she had into him as she wrapped her arms tightly around his broken frame.

Tsunade bowed her head low as she watched them.

Naruto calmed his breathing and finally hugged back, his arms wrapped around her loosely.

"You can go."

Naruto released his grip on Sakura,"What?"

Tsunade nodded,"You can go on the mission."

Naruto grinned,"I won't let you down, Baa-chan!" And he left with Sakura.

"I know you won't, Naruto." Tsunade had a small smile etched onto her face.

And that smile stayed there.
